Lovely Oasis with Mid-Century Design

Just returned from a very relaxing weekend at this property and had a great time! The mid-century design was extremely well-executed with great color coordination, nods to classic designers and really put together nicely. Even the pool towels were luscious and matched the decor. Photos of Palm Springs classic mid-century homes throughout the house added to the theme and small details like the chrome blinds, lighting choices, and the matching clocks tells me someone cared about putting this place together right. Best of all however was the salt water pool. Not only was it immaculate but I hope to never be in a chlorine pool again. Adjoining covered patio made for a lovely outdoor living room space and the bbq nearby meant being able to entertain easily. The owner was very nice and allowed us to check-out anytime we wished as there was not another rental scheduled which was very gracious. Would not hesistate to rent again and hope to be back soon!

Spent the past three days at this property for a girlfriends birthday. The house was everything we could have ever dreamed of and more. Pool and back area was bigger and better than the photos. House was stocked with towels, dishes, spices and more. House was easy to find with visible numbers and directions were very clear for house rules. Owner was responsive and helpful in any needed situation. We had a wonderful time here and would 100% come back again.

My husband and I rented this lovely home and thoroughly enjoyed our 15th wedding anniversary in the desert. The home is well represented in the VRBO photos, and the property is meticulously maintained. The decor is modern, yet very cozy. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking staples, i.e., spices, oils, utensils, etc. The pool was the perfect temperature and extremely clean, and the private backyard very inviting. The owners responded in a timely fashion prior, during, and after our stay. Would book again in a heart beat! Enjoyed many local attraction, especially a scenic 3 hour loop drive on Hwy 243 to Idyllwild in the San Jacinto mountains and back down on Hwy 74 (I believe) to Palm Desert - a fun drive in a small rental car, drastically different topography, and beautiful the entire route!

we had a bachlorette party for our bestfriend this past weekend. we have rented many locations from Laguna, Palm Springs, Vegas etc. This was by far my favorite location. Everything was just like the pictures shown online. Great open kitchen with all cooking utensils which was great because we cooked both days. The beds were all comfortable with clean linen and ample towels. Beautiful backyard with a big pool! We sat outside after dinner and relaxed and talked, it was perfect. I am definatly going back to this location for our next vacation. Highly recommend this location!

Fantastic Palm Springs Getaway

The home was as gorgeous as it is in the photos. The home was in immaculately clean shape and the owner was fantastic in providing us with all the information we would need for our stay. She even told us that since the home would be free the day we arrived that we were more than welcome to show up anytime (we ended up taking the day off Friday and enjoyed getting a little work done poolside) We spent the weekend here with another couple and our three dogs. The setup worked out perfectly and of course we enjoyed having our "kids" with us as well. The home is well stocked with everything you'd need for a weekend getaway, plenty of pots/pans, bbq equipment, etc. The pool was fantastic with plenty of floaties and everything else you'd need to enjoy the day in the pool. In fact we never really enjoyed any of the other places/activities Palm Springs has to offer as we enjoyed the home so much. We will definitely be back again in the near future.

Mod-tastic, clean, and pet friendly

Stayed for the weekend with husband, kids, my parents, and 3 dogs. The house is fantastic- cool furniture, plenty of space to relax inside and out. Backyard is well fenced and huge, plus Victoria park with lots of grass is a couple houses down so great for dogs. We were nervous about the furniture not being pet/kid friendly from the photos, but no problems there. Great location- grocery store nearby and park as I mentioned. House is well stocked with cooking supplies, games, books, linens, even a cable to connect our macbook to the TV! (Wireless internet too.) The pool has lots of comfy floating chairs, plus lounge chairs for sunning and the covered seating area near the beautiful tile wall. Very much a backyard oasis. Stayed in and swam + barbecued the whole weekend, very relaxing and fun. We'll be back again for sure!

Perfect Palm Springs!

The house is very beautifully decorated. Definitely fits in with the overall hip, mid-century Palm Springs feel with a much smaller price tag for 6 people than comparable hotels. Plus, no fighting to keep your deck chair! I would say the house is better stocked with kitchen items/cooking utensils than most vacation rentals I've tried. It's very dog friendly, also. The poolside umbrellas were much appreciated during the heat of the day. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I and our two children visited this gorgeous home in April. We spent much of our time swimming, and during the evening, we grilled while enjoying evening beverages (martinis for the adults) in the super-mod covered outdoor lounge-area. We are already planning a return visit.

I have stayed here every year since discovering the house in 2006 — sometimes with the kids, sometimes just the two of us (always inviting friends to come share the pool & some bbq for a day or two). The house is great mid-century design that's perfect for relaxing and entertaining, the backyard beautifully landscaped with lots of huge palms, lovely grasses, whatever that green-barked tree that the hummingbirds love, and a couple of fruit trees. It's a short drive to everything in town too.

My friends and I stayed in this house last week-end and we had a wonderful time! The house is very cute, the rooms very comfortable and clean, and I loved the salt swimming pool. I would say that is the perfect house for a fun week-end! I would come back for sure!

Stayed here in September 10 for girls weekend and the house is absolutely fabulous. It is beautifully decorated and well appointed. Had everything we needed for a great weekend. Would be fantastic to have an outside fire pit to enjoy the nice evenings outside. But great find. Will rent again.

Mid Century Modern Paradise

My partner and I have stayed at this wonderful home for several years and have always been delighted by it's sophisticated charm and saltwater pool .The art work on the walls is tasteful as are the furnishings. We also love the mature landscaping,very beautiful. There are great restaurants nearby, we like Circa 59 in The Riviera Hotel for dinner and Sherman's for a great breakfast. The owners have always been most accommodating and hospitable and we look forward to our next .

Lovely winter vacation

My husband and I travel to the desert every December for a week. We finally found a home that we would love to come back to. Close to everything, charming, clean, and beautiful. We could even bring our little dog, and there wasn't an additional deposit. We are hoping this lovely home will be available again this winter!

We had a wonderful time here (9/22-9/29/09). The house was great, and we loved the pool! Our kids lived in the pool - our 4-year old daughter learned how to swim in this pool as well as our yellow lab, Duke! Lindy, the owner, was very responsive. Our stay was what the doctor ordered - very relaxing. Highly recommend this house. We will be coming back - hopefully soon!
