Palazzo Strozzi apartment description
Italy Perfect Winner Trip Advisor-FlipKey Award of Excellence 2011, 2012, 2013. Conde Nast Traveler Magazine Top Florence Specialist 2012 & 2013. Travel & Leisure Magazine Italy All-Star 2013.
The calendar is up-to-date. There is a 4 night minimum booking period except for Christmas, New Years, Easter when 7 night minimum applies.
The Prisco apartment is located half a block off fashionable Via Tornabuoni near Palazzo Strozzi. It is on the third floor of a building with an elevator. Restaurants, shops abound in this neighborhood. The apartment is extremely spacious, 85 square meters/900 square feet.
Take a walk through the Prisco apartment by viewing the video. See link above.
The morning sun illuminates the living room and kitchen area. Enjoy the comfort and convenience of an open plan living room and kitchen area. The kitchen table seats up to six people.
Throw open the large living room, bedroom & kitchen windows and enjoy the lively scene below. The apartment features many original Italian antiques, yet the living room maintains a casual feel with a modern Italian sofa that opens to become queen size bed.
In the morning zip down to the bakery that is next door to the apartment building and pick out your morning bread and pastries. In the afternoon stop by for a few delicate cookies for tea time or dessert. At night, enjoy a glass of wine and relax a bit before you head out to one of the many excellent neighborhood restaurants. Right on the street are several good cafes and restaurants, making it so convenient if your feet are crying for mercy after a busy day filled with sightseeing.
The kitchen has a gas range with grill, a large oven, lots of cabinet and countertop space, dishwasher, and a large refrigerator with freezer, pots, pans, dishes.
The spacious master bedroom has high ceilings and a romantic draped queen size bed. A new chaise longue-style twin bed in the corner of the bedroom provides an extra sleeping space. The bedroom alone is over 40 square meters, or 430 square feet...larger then many Florence apartments! We like to advise guests that since this apartment is in the popular historic center, there can be street noise at night from pedestrians (not cars) down below who are strolling by after a meal at one of the many nearby restaurants. The bedroom & living room windows are double glazed.
Within the same building are our Strozzi VRBO #156858 and Michaela VRBO #58566 vacation rental apartments.
4 NIGHT MINIMUM BOOKING except for Christmas, New Years, Easter when 7 night minimum applies. We honestly do not take shorter stays.

Huge and airy. Clean and comfortable. Fine art pieces. Close to everything. We were able to walk everywhere, and could stop by the apartment if we just wanted a mid-day break. We had every convenience we needed, lots of room to spread out, and the largest bedroom ever! The lovely hosts were very helpful and congenial, and even left coffee, tea and wine for us. The washing machine was a big plus too. I would definitely recommend this apartment (as well as Italy Perfect) to a friend. We would love to go back and stay here again.

First time in Florence
First time in Florence
My husband and I rented this wonderful flat as our second accommodation in our almost-three-week trip to Italy--it is perfect! Superb location--great restaurants, bakeries, shops, and sights all within walking distance. The apartment is furnished comfortably and has lots of windows for light and air. Miki and Franco, our hosts, were gracious and welcoming when we arrived and helpful with a taxi as we left. Lisa at Italy Perfect also was helpful with a myriad of questions my husband had. Should we ever be fortunate enough to return to Florence, we would book this flat again!

The location is wonderful!
This was our first trip to Italy and this apartment in Florence couldn't have been more perfect. The location is wonderful! The apartment beautiful, sunny and large. Miki and Franco couldn't have been nicer! The location of this apartment is very centrally located, and we walked everywhere we wanted to go. Anything you want to see or buy is right there. We would love to return to this apartment. Our experience with Italy Perfect was outstanding! The service and information Pat and Lisa provide made our trip much easier - thank you so much!!

We stayed in the Prisco Apt. In Florence for 5 special days the last week of August 2013. I can think of nothing bad about the whole experience. The apt was huge, comfortable, and complete with old world charm. The owners were gracious and charming to deal with. The location couldn't be beat. Right in the heart of old Firenze, everything was an easy stroll from Prisco. We felt safe and secure in a fantastic spot. Thank you much Miki , Franco, and Italy perfect. It was perfect. Ciao

Great location, very comfortable and convenient
Great location, very comfortable and convenient
We spent 1 month in the Prisco apartment, and found it to be an excellent location, easy to walk to all the sites and shopping, and a few minutes' walk from the train station. On the street are several wonderful shops for groceries and prepared food, with a morning (coffee) bar a few doors away. Restaurants are just a few minutes' walk down the street. The apartment has all that one needs for a vacation stay, with a neat kitchen (including dishwasher!), very large bedroom and sitting room and a smart bathroom with a good shower, so important while traveling. A washer is available for use also. Can't think of any negatives about this apartment. It was perfect for us with its large rooms and wonderful location! The owners are friendly and very helpful if you need them.

Another Wonderful Experience
Allen and I enjoyed our five week stay in the Prisco Apt. in Florence Italy. ( This was our second extended stay in that apartment. ) All remained the same as when we said good bye a year ago - except, and this was very important to us, for a much improved internet connection. Absolutely enjoyed revisiting old favorites (Ristorante Pensavo Peggio on Via Del Moro, Dei Frescobaldi on Via die Magazzini, ,Perche No? on Via de Tavolini , etc. ) and discovering new ones including Farmaceutica of Santa Maria Novella on Via della Scala, Antico Sertificio Fiorentino (silk factory) on Via Bartolini, Casa Rodolfo Silviero (small museum) on Lungarno Serristori, etc. Love Florence, love the Prisco and hope to return again soon .

The location was perfect for walking to everything
We enjoyed our stay in Florence and in Prisco apartment. We had an excellent stay. The location was perfect for walking to every thing. Franco and Miki are wonderful hosts, very attentive to the needs of their guests. The apartment was very attractive, and fully equipped, lovely furnishings. The kitchen could use a good omelette pan. The location is ideal. Nothing is too far away. It is close to SITA bus station and main railway station making out of town day trip travel very easy. The butcher, a bakery, sausage and cheese shops are on the same street. A vegetable market is on a next street. One can never forget Rosticceria for freshly roasted chicken, meat and vegetables when one did not want to cook or go out to restaurant. One really enjoys various window displays as you walk by the very upmarket stores in the immediate neighbour hood. The apartment was spacious. The bed room was really noise free when the door was closed to the living room.

Thanks for a great experience
The accommodations were as represented. The location couldn't have been better for our needs. Our only suggestion is this: if your want to see the country side when traveling by train as we did, don't take the high-speed trains. They get you there quickly but everything is a virtual blur. We would recommend Italy Perfect and, in fact, we have. Thanks for a great experience.
