We have a beautifully updated and cheerfully decorated two-bedroom, two-bath, oceanview condominium. We are an oceanfront building, side-view unit. Our condo location is opposite the pool side of the building, so it might be a bit quieter. We are on the FIRST FLOOR, so there is no need to carry luggage and items up steps! A cozy family atmosphere exists here. Typically, strangers arrive at the beginning of the vacation, and have make good acquaintances with others during their stay. Children usually make friends quickly, and families with children are our typical guests.
Our newly updated kitchen is fully equipped for meal preparation. There are tile floors in the kitchen and both bathrooms. The family room and both bedrooms are carpeted. We have added a bar area with two bar stools in the kitchen/living area. This is a great place to set up a laptop computer for convenient use.
We have just updated both bathrooms, making them more beautiful, rather than just usable.
The on-premises, coin-operated, laundry facility is two doorways away on the same floor, making access very convenient from our condo! The complex has recently been refurbished with new windows, paint, and siding. Wireless internet is also available. The ocean is visible from our first-floor balcony/porch area, as well as from the master bedroom window.
Access to and from Highway 22 is unbelievably close and convenient! There is almost straight access from I95 as well.
Myrtle Beach has been rated as one of the most desirable vacation spots in the nation. The beach is wide and very, very clean. Lifeguards are visible during the heightened season, which is from Memorial Day through Labor Day holidays.
There is so much to do in the area if you are looking for activities for the family, or there is also lots of quiet available if you are looking for that as well.

- Only steps down the hallway--YOU'RE ON THE BEACH!! 2 Cable TVs and 2 DVDs. NO SMOKING/NO PETS. Many nearby golf courses. Walking distance to Apache Pier w/gameroom (a favorite with the children), restaurant, ice cream, and fishing. Across the street from a straw market, ABC store, scooter rental, pizza, etc. Very near restaurant row. Next door to Sands Ocean Club, providing Sandals Lounge, River City Cafe, Ocean Annie's (outdoor live music and bar) and gameroom. Close walking distance to inlet area, great for net fishing, and quiet nature-loving experience. Coin-operated washer and dryer are shared with other condos on the same floor--just steps away. Our condo is always updated, clean, and family-friendly. It is equipped with a safe, and we encourage using it for cash, cashiers' checks, jewelry, etc. Beach chair and umbrella rental is available from the Beach Service lifeguards directly in front of our building.

- Walking on the Beach, and Deep Sea Fishing. It is only a short walk to the beautiful inlet area, which is great for crabbing, wading, searching for sea shells, or just a very quiet nature-loving experience. Often, you will see folks leisurely enjoying reading, writing, drawing, or just meditating in this area. Our grandchildren absolutely love spending lots of time at the inlet. A Super WalMart and Bass Pro Shop are very convenient to our location. In fact, lots of shopping is very convenient to our location. Other nearby attractions are Dixie Stampede, Carolina Opry, an Alligator Farm, Broadway At The Beach, Butterfly Museum, Myrtle Beach Aquarium, Water Park and Speed Park, The Palace Theatre, Barefoot Landing, Alabama Theatre, House of Blues, Myrtle Beach Mall and movie theatres--almost anything you can imagine wanting to do is within a six-mile radius. In case of any personal emergency, we are three miles from the Myrtle Beach Hospital.

Why the Owner Chose A Place at the Beach I
After living at Myrtle Beach for a period of time as a child, we knew that it was the place we wanted to spend lots of time as our family grew. Memories have been created here that will remain in our family forever. Owning a condo in the Shore Drive area location has so much to offer in the way of entertainment, shopping, golfing, relaxing, and eating choices. The beach here is so wide and beautiful.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We enjoy the quietness offered here, though there are lots of people, the uniqueness of the family atmosphere is always present. Families seem to look out for each other because of the familiarity they feel with other families. Strangers appear to become acquaintances soon. It is a great feeling. When "snowbirds" arrive, they have become winter friends with each other and look forward to seeing each other again year after year.

Our home is in Charlotte, NC, and we have been owners at APATBI for many years. We take great pride in keeping our "home away from home" updated and clean for our guests to enjoy. Loved our stay! We were pleasantly surprised The condo was extremely nice. Decorated extremely well, comfortable and very convenient to the beach. The AC worked great! The ONLY negative thing I can say is the cleaning staff should be reviewed and possibly changed. They did not vacuum well, the dishes in the cabinets were not clean and both bathroom sinks were not wiped down (tooth paste splatters) before our arrival. All in all, I would definetly recommend and will definetly stay there again. I will be sure to bring my own cleaing supplies... just in case.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway.

The condo is very nice. It really exceeded our expectations by far. Had a great view of the ocean. The unit itself is a good size. The people staying there were really friendly. First floor was also a big plus. The condo is close to everything. Condo was very neat and clean. The owner was extremely helpful and communication was excellent. I would recommend this condo to my friends and relatives.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+.

Your generosity with your condo to your friends is so wonderful. I honestly can't remember more enjoyable trips to the beach than with you. Your place is so comfortable and I love the new kitchen and paint color. Thanks for the long weekend.
