  We just returned from our 25th wedding anniversary trip to St. Martin and Villa Mediterranne. The villa is istuated on a hill overlooking Orient beach and is very clean and well maintained. We had two couples and used the bedrooms overlooking the pool, but the villa in general and all four bedrooms are well appointed. The area and the villa are gated. Great views, especially sunrise. Pool, veranda and deck area are very private. Veranda sitting and lounging are the best. Walk to Orinet beach and 10 minute drive to Grand Case. Check out Sunset Cafe. The staff, on the one occasion we needed them was helpful and courteous. We loved it and recommend it highly!

  Previous guest have already identified what a great place this is. Villa is (as the crow flies) about 3 blocks up from the beach and at the start of a hill, thus we have a great view down to the water and the three surrounding small islands just off shore. In reality we have to walk two blocks down the hill (paved road) West, then three blocks North to the beach. Our maid came every day except Sunday at around 10 am and immediately went about cleaning and changing bedding and towels. Positive: Excellent location based on a trade off of not being directly on the beach, but with a breath taking view. There was always a soothing breeze at this location. Quiet neighborhood. Very solid structure thus it was very quiet inside at night. Wireless Internet connection is very fast, but works faster if you bring along your own Ethernet cable. Lots of room for four couples. Big bedrooms with walk in showers. Excellent security system within our own large gated yard. Quick response from the villa manager on anything we had issues with. Very good maid service. WOW all bed linens and bath towels were changed every day. We always bring along a small 220 – 110-volt transformer to foreign countries, but we found this house has this large 20 pound 220-110 V transformer that nicely servicing our needs within outlets in just about every room. The house has an excellent air conditioning system with large modern individual units in every room. Any and all negative items were quickly corrected by the local manager, other issues were address directly by the owner back in the states. Negative: The pool pump was Out Of Service, but the owner noted they are in the process of totally overhauling the pool system in the next few weeks. General: Great luxury for four old naturist couples (two retired and two still working) from Wisconsin spitting the overall cost of this very grand accommodation. The owner is very informative towards answering any of your questions.

  Our stay at the Villa was outstanding. We were a group of 2 families and everyone, including the kids, fit comfortably in their bedrooms. We enjoyed all of the seating both inside and outside of the villa, the kitchen (super helpful when you have hungry kids), and the pool/hot tub. We stocked the kitchen early in the week ("Simply" grocery store is nearby) and many nights we would grill, play music, and have a pool party. Most of our days were spent at the glorious beach (La Playa rocked!) and we all enjoyed the water sports. Highlights of the trip included: Captain Alan's snorkel tour (2 thumbs up), dinner in Grand Case, shopping in Marigot, a beautiful sunset cruise to celebrate a family member's birthday, and fresh baguettes, cheese & wine every day. Alain was wonderful to work with, the maid was efficient and sweet, and we even had a white cat visit us every day that we named "Sunshine." 2 small negatives: Magali was rather rude to us and the pool guys took our dive toys when they were cleaning it. But we are all madly in love with St Martin and can't wait to return. Moreover, we will definitely rent the villa (which we lovingly called "the compound") again because it exceeded all of our expectations! Thanks, Alain!

  WE just returned from our annual trip to St. Martin and absolutely loved staying at this location........The home is great for three couples and is very well located on the island........ If I had any negatives it would be the satelite television should offer more stations for Americans......only 3 English stations.... Other than that Incredible views and very nice accomodations.............

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children.

  My wife and i stayed at Villa Mediterranee for two weeks and our adult children joined us for part of the time. It was our 4th visit to Orient Beach and we throughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Villa. The staff of Cab Caribe were very helpful and housekeeper was great. Walking to the beach and several of the Village restaurants was very convenient. The complimentary use of umbrellas and chairs at La Playa was a very nice benefit. There were only 3 english channels on the cable, CNN, ESPN and Disney. All in all a beautiful home with a stunning view of Orient Bay.

  This was our 3rd time staying at the Villa Méditerranée. We stayed one week every year for the last 3 years. This place is a paradise and I can only say that you have to come and experience for yourself. The villa is walking distance to Orient beach and to the shopping centers and restaurants of the Village d'Orient. Everything you need is right here. The pool is awesome and very private. The view form the patio and veranda is spectacular: you can see all three islands of Tintamarre, Pinel and St Barth at the same time. The bedrooms are terrific but however my favorite is the upstairs bedroom, from which you have a view on the pool and the green preserve of St Martin. My kids loved every minute. Many thanks to the villa manager and staff for being so gracious and making our stay so pleasant!

  One of our best vacations. This was our first time to the island and thankfully we did not go wrong with the location. The villa is everything and more. Great views, great privacy and most of all good friends to enjoy it with. All 4 couples raved about how perfect the house was for their vacation. Staying in Orient Village is by far the best place on the island if you are looking to get away from high rise condos. The villa is close enough to the village to walk and we did so almost every night.

  My family and I had a wonderful time in St. Martin this past October! I had been once before a few years ago and stayed in an average hotel on the Dutch side, but this time was truly exceptional. The villa has ample space for a family of five (or even more) and is in excellent condition, and with the very helpful maid, we didn't have to lift a finger! The grill by the pool is also a great feature - we picked up fresh fish at the market in Marigot for a delicious lunch. Thank you very much Alain for your hospitality and helpfulness!
