We've got fun, excitement, and relaxation all available at your fingertips...Enjoy a slow walk down the beautiful, un-crowded beaches, build a sandcastle with the kids, play golf on the nearby north Watersound golf course, catch some rays by the 7500 square foot community pool, read a fun book with a gentle breeze on the back porch, relax under the stars in the hot tub by the pool, take a gentle bike ride, jog, or walk down one of the many trails in the area...Whatever your fantasy, it's here at "Let It Shine".
You'll get the privacy of a small Key-West style beach cottage neighborhood, just steps from the beach. Yes, this beautifully furnished three-bedroom, two-bath cottage is located in the wonderful Cottages of Camp Creek, a quaint, gated community in South Walton County.
You'll get a warm, tropical feeling in the master bedroom as you lay comfortably in the king size bed. You can even watch your favorite TV show and enjoy your breakfast or coffee in bed with the bed tray nightstand.
The second bedroom features a queen bed with a large shutter-style dresser, pane mirror, and picket fence headboard giving this room an 'All-American' feel.
If sailing is your thing, you'll be at home in the third bedroom with a wicker daybed and trundle. It's is perfect for the children; fully equipped with a cable TV/VCR, children’s videos, puzzles, games, toys, and a removable bed rail.
In addition, our smoke-free cottage is equipped with many extras to make your stay even more special. The lovely kitchen is fully stocked with the following: refrigerator with door icemaker, microwave, coffee maker, blender, slow cooker, toaster, formal dishes with service for 12, casual fish dishes, and even plastic dishes for the children or for a romantic beach picnic.
More extras...Grill your favorite burgers, steaks, or chicken on the large gas grill...Or just relax in the den among all the 'palm trees' watching your favorite show or movie on the TV/VCR/DVD with surround sound.
Whether you are heading to the beach or a free concert at Seaside (check out Seaside's web site for more information), be sure to pack the picnic basket and small ice chest with your favorite foods and beverages. If the 'sandy shore' is your destination for the day, a wagon makes life easy to carry the kids or beach toys.
In addition, feel free to use the four folding beach chairs, two adult bikes (one has a child seat attached), single jog stroller, and portable radio for your beach adventures. Oh, don't forget to use the flashlights to catch sand crabs on the beach at night! It's a blast! Other items included are an iron, ironing board, and hair dryer.
And if this is not enough, there are nearby restaurants, activities, and other entertainment at Seaside, Rosemary Beach, Destin, and Panama City Beach and each is just a short drive away.

Why the Owner Chose Cottages of Camp Creek
John grew-up in Albany, GA and always vacationed at Panama City Beach. Staci was born in Louisiana and always went to Gulf Shores, AL for her family vacations. We meet on middle ground. We started to vacation as newly weds 13 years ago along HWY 30-A. Thanks to a friend who let us stay for free years ago. We fell in love with this area from that first trip! We like the family atmosphere, beautiful beaches, emerald green waters and the laid back style of Seacrest Beach!

Let it Shine was exactly as described. Very nicely decorated and spacious. The owners Staci and John were wonderful to work with and very accommodating with our stay. The convenient location was in the middle of the venues for the songwriter's festival we were attending. Very close to Rosemary Beach and only a few miles to Seaside. The cottage was large enough for everyone to have their privacy with a nice family room that everyone enjoyed. The porch overlooked the pool and a nicely landscaped area to take advantage of with your morning coffee! We would like to tell everyone about "Let it Shine" knowing we are giving away a wonderful secret that we found! Let it Shine made a trip to the beach in January extremely enjoyable! Thanks for another great stay in an extra clean and beautiful cottage. The wagon was greatly appreciated. All the conveniences of home plus a beach and pool only 8 hours away from our house. The kids love this place. We will once again do this next year.

Dear Ragsdale Family, Thank you for allowing us to stay in your wonderful Gulf Cottage. We had a Great trip. The cottage had everything we needed. The Bikes were a great hit for our family. The children loved the pool and I loved the fact it was so large and clean. The Gulf is just steps away so we had the best of both worlds. It is nice to rent and deal directly with the owners. This is the BEST cottage---so cozy, comfortable with ALL the amentities a family of 5 needs to enjoy a beautiful vacation at the beach. You can enjoy the quiet of the local community or enjoy the shopping etc of Destin!!! This is the BEST cottage for one family.
