My wife and I, our three children and my mom stayed in the second floor of this wonderful condo. We loved the design and decor and made it feel like a totally California experience. There is a garage for parking with a washer and dryer. It was incredibly secure with a strong metal gate and solid doors upstairs though it is a very family-friendly and safe area. There was a gas fireplace inside which we used a few times to warm the chill of the early April nights. The rooftop deck was a dreamy view and a bbq that was easy to use. We would absolutely book this same place again if we ever get back to San Diego. There were plenty of stairs up but my healthy 70-year old mother did them several times a day with no problems. A few more tea towels and dishrags would be nice but we ate most of our meals in so if you're planning on eating out a lot, no biggie. Overall, 10 stars! AAA+Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I was in San Diego to get married, rented this condo with my family. It succeeded all my expectations, it was clean and the descriptions were accurate. Patricia even left a note! She was helpful through the entire process, and I can't thank her enough!! We would definitely return to this condo again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Patricia's home. It was so much more than what we were expecting! The purpose of our trip was to provide the opportunity for our 20 year old son to celebrate his birthday by surfng for five days on Mission Beach. We wanted to be able to see him surf from our home, take just a few steps to get to the ocean and grab some amazing waves. We couldn't have found a better location than this one! With Patricia's well-equipped kitchen - and tons of counter space - I was able to make delicious meals everyday. She even provided spices and cooking essentials that aren't usually found in a rental home. Our bedrooms were very comfortable with amazing views of the ocean. Although it was a bit too cold to enjoy the rooftop as much as we wanted I was able to enjoy my morning coffee up there while taking some beautiful pictures of the sunrise. I was able to walk long distance everyday either on the beach or on the boardwalk. Shopping, restaurants, little cafes. etc were within easy reach. Our 21 year old daughter found a health club nearby that offered a great daily rate for use of their state of the art equipment. With this home being so close to Pacific Beach - virtually right next door - we got to enjoy all that this little town offers. Patricia thank you for your beautiful home and arranging for the friendly dolphins to join our son during his early morning surfing. I do hope that we have the opportunity to return very soon.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a WONDERFUL time at your house this past week, It was even better than the website said it would be! Everything was very clean and well kept. Even closer to the ocean that I had anticipated. The outside shower was great, especially for sand-covered children. It was so nice having key codes and not having to worry about keys or who had the key at any given time. Beach towels, chairs, umbrellas all provided. Great bedroom layout for a family retreat. Just minutes to the airport and Sea World. A perfect vacation location.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Hi!! Just wanted to let you know what a great week we had. The house was amazing and so much more then we imagined. The set up was perfect for our family and we loved how much it opened up. To fall asleep to the ocean crashing was so peacefull. The weather was perfect. The location and view was amazing. I noticed most of the houses 1 house back from the beach were not able to view the ocean like your house did. It was 20 steps to the sand but queit unlike the houses right on the boardwalk. I am so glad we chose your house. One thing though,,, the pictures on your website do not do the house justice. It is so much nicer then what they show. We would love to come back another time. The house had everything we needed and more. On our last day we were sitting on the roof deck and we got to watch 3 dolphins playing in the waves. I can't believe I even spotted them but it sure was exciting. We were worried that we did not bring chairs, umbrella, ect for the beach and it was great that even that was at the house. It was one of the most relaxing weeks I have had in years. We had plenty to keep us busy during the week but sitting on the beach for the day was the best part of it. This house was great for our family of 3 adults and 3 kids. We have rented in Mission Beach before but it did not compare to your house. Thankyou again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This property was steps from the ocean and the sand. It was a perfect location for us to do our vacationing in San Diego while also enjoying the beach. It's easy to get to, and just minutes from some fun restaurants, bars and shopping. The rooftop patio allowed us to enjoy the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach and also a meal or two. The property was well maintained, had all the amenities of home, and the property managers were responsive to us. It was exactly what we were looking for. The only drawbacks were that the third bedroom has 2 twin beds that are really not the best for adults to sleep in, and the garage is small, making it important to have a small car (which we did fortunately!). As runners, we were able to enjoy the boardwalk along the ocean and a variety of other easy to access running routes. Several times we saw dolphins in the surf, while also watching a lot of surfers try their luck with the waves. Great people watching as well!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

Our family of four, with two teenagers, stayed at the Kennebeck house the week after Xmas. We loved the house and location was central to everything. Most sites were within a half hour drive from the house.Biking and walking up and down the boardwalk and beach just steps away was fabulous. We barbequed every night on our roof top deck and enjoyed the fireworks from Seaworld from the comfort of this deck also. Family room was spacious and the house was very clean. All questions and concerns we had were answered and solved very quickly. Great location! Great city!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Great place.Nicely maintained, close to everything you might want to go. Twin beds not too comfy for adults and location might be a little noisy on weekends for some people, but we loved it!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Four of us (early to mid-thirties) stayed in this fabulous condo in mid-May. The location is ideal! The beach, restaurants, and shops are within walking distance. The views from the condo are priceless. The bedrooms and bathrooms are immaculately kept and the living area is quite spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed daily bike rides throughout MB, PB, and La Jolla on the bikes provided. All beach equipment is provided as well. Nancy was wonderful to work with, very patient and flexible with all our questions/needs! Thank you Nancy for our wonderful vacation!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
