We really enjoyed our time here!

Date of Stay: 08/08/11 Review Submitted: 11/03/11

Thank you for the use of your beautiful home! We had such a wonderful time here enjoying the hikes, scenery, wild life and hot tub! We saw tons of bison in Yellowstone and the kids loved Old Faithful. The night sky was amazing and storms that rolled us at night were really cool to watch. We really enjoyed our time here.

Great place.

I had a wonderful time at this house. It was spacious and had all the conviences of my own home. Which is saying a lot. Met some friends for a long weekend and never felt crowded. We had three children ages 2-13 and they had plenty to do. Close to Yellowstone and the town of Gardiner. The grocery store was perfect. Hit the Albertson's in Livingston on my way down, but would not really have needed to. We plan to return next September.

Our Family Vacation

Guest: kaj (Auburn, WA)
Date of Stay: 08/13/11 Review Submitted: 09/21/11

This home was everything advertised - lots of room - large kitchen - everything needed for an infant - even coolers to take with us as we explored Yellowstone Park. Very close to the park and after spending full days inside the park, it was wonderful to come back to this lovely home and sprawl or use the hot tub. Ten of us in our family and we would not hesitate to rent this home in the future and highly recommend it for large families.

This rental property was a dream home. We comfortably fit 13 people in this house, with room to spare. It had a great location, just miles from Gardiner and the north entrance of Yellowstone. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The large kitchen, clean rooms, many bedrooms, theater room, sauna and hot tub were just a few of the great amenities. Other things like: cowboy coffee, home decor, basketball hoops, and toys and games were added benefits that made this home unique. I was apprehensive to rent a home, but all 13 of us found this home to be absolutely delightful. The 7 kids thought we should sell our homes and move right in! A TRUE DELIGHT! We can't wait to return.

Great vacation home!

Guest: Tim (Oklahoma)
Date of Stay: 07/10/11 Review Submitted: 07/19/11

Stayed here 7/10/11 - 7/15/11. The location was great - a fast and easy drive into Gardiner and the North Entrance to Yellowstone Park. The view from this home was beautiful as well. The home has everything you need for a great vacation stay - dinnerware, towels, linens, washer/dryer, soap/shampoo, even toys and games for the kids. Maricruz was very responsive and honest to deal with. I would highly recommend this property.

Great place for large group

Guest: St Pete Travelers (st. petersburg florida)
Date of Stay: 07/02/11 Review Submitted: 07/10/11

I have rented many vacation homes and this is one of the best for a large group. We were eight, butr the house could easily handle more. The common areas are large and commodious, particularly the entertainment room, which could serve as a small theater. Large, open kitchen area, well stocked with cooking necessities. Two or three people can help prepare meals at once. Dining room table can actually seat 12 with extensions. Sauna, hot tub, screened in porch with seats and a small table. At least 40 DVD titles of good quality, music DVD's. Very kid friendly, with toys, puzzles, games, high chairs and a plush wolf that our grand=daughter wouldn't let out of sight. Drive through Gardiner to north park entrance was about 20 minutes. Only one drawback, insignificant to us but could be a factor to others. Master bedroom with ensuite bath and third bathroom were on first floor. That left one bathroom on second floor to serve three bedrooms on second floor and dormitory style room on third floor, plus loft area that has sofa bed. This was no big deal for us. I grew up with eight people sharing one bathroom. Some of our kids used the first floor bathroom back by the sauna. But if you are used to ensuite bathrooms for everyone, it's a drawback. Also, window AC in one room was a bit noisy so kids using that room ended up sleeping in the entertainment room. In my experience, every large house has at least some flaws. All in all, this one was very nice. We would rent it again.

Enjoyable Family Reunion with wonderful accomodations

Guest: bclung (Nebraska)
Date of Stay: 06/26/11 Review Submitted: 07/01/11

My wife and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary by inviting our sons and their families to the Yellowstone area. This house provided us with the room to do what we wanted to do as a group and individual family. The amenities are as advertised and the entertainment provided meets the needs of all ages from toys for toddlers to video games and movies for teenagers to enjoy. The hottub was a hit and shared by all generations. Probably the greatest endorsement I can provide was from my 15 year old granddaughter. She would like to come back and set up a schedule to meet every two to three years. Bob and Cindy, Nebraska, June 26-July 2, 2011

Owner response:Dear Bob and Cindy, It was a real honor to have you at the Yellowstone Gateway! You are welcome to come back to the house anytime. Happy Anniversary to a wonderful couple! MZ

Incredible Home!

Guest: Michelle (Edinburg, TX)
Date of Stay: 06/17/11 Review Submitted: 06/27/11

We had an awesome time! The house set the tone for our trip and with 5 kids ranging from 15 to 9 we all had enough room and activities to keep us all entertained. After a fun filled day either at Yellowstone or Chico's Hot Springs we came back to a relaxing home. The kitchen was amazing and it was so nice for the entire family to sit and have dinner together. The theater room was were we unwind with a movie. We woke up to seeing elk in the back yard and the beautiful mountains in our front yard. Gardiner is such a nice town and close to Yellowstone. We had an opportunity to travel from the South entrance of Yellowstone to the North and really loved the North end much more. This was an incredible family vacation home and I highly recommend this home for big families.

What a comfortable home!

Guest: KJL (Gilbert, Arizona)
Date of Stay: 04/20/11 Review Submitted: 04/28/11

I have stayed at this beautiful home before and each time am not disappointed in it's lovely furnishings and comfortable style. It's perfect for a large group or even a smaller family gathering. There's something for children and adults alike. Comfortable furniture, nice books and lots of movie selections. The kitchen has lots of supplies and room for making home cooked meals if you desire. There's plenty of space to stretch out and unwind and enjoy the scenery of Montana. Lovely hot tub and sauna! And only being 10 minutes to the Park is a great bonus. Thank you for keeping everything so neat and clean. We'll be back in the "off season" to enjoy the crisp fall air of Montana. Well Kept, Super Clean, and Stocked to the Brim

Guest: Rachel (Queen Creek, Arizona)
Date of Stay: 04/01/11 Review Submitted: 04/10/11

We had an amazing time here with our family of five, our friends from Napa, and our friend from New York. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The linens were quite nice and the bathrooms are stocked with organic shampoo, conditioner, lotion and body wash. The gigantic, fully stocked kitchen allowed us to all cook and socialize together and eat in comfort. There were plenty of nice-quality pots and pans and every appliance you would need. There is a huge media room with many movies, a separate living room with a beautiful stone fireplace and cozy leather sofas, a loft area with toys and books for small children, and a tower with amazing views. An enclosed porch runs all along the front of the house, with wooden rocking chairs from which we could see the deer. There is a washer to use--and two dryers! We did not use the beautiful cedar sauna, but our girls enjoyed using the hot tub in the crisp Montana air. Yellowstone Park is only 20 minutes south of the house. There are rather steep hiking trails right out the back of the house. The closest grocery store is 15 minutes away, so be sure to stock up on your way in. It's in Gardiner, Montana, which has many white-water rafting companies to take people down the Yellowstone. If you want to ski, you can ski cross country in Yellowstone Park; downhill is 2 hours away in Bozeman at Bridger Bowl or 3 hours away at Big Sky, Montana. We had a wonderful time and hope to be back soon!
