We came for our 6th annual family ski trip to Copper, and hands down, this was the best place we have stayed. The owner is such a pleasant person to deal with, which is a welcome difference from some of the sterile service we've received when staying in Copper-run facilities. The descriptions of the townhome on this site, if anything, are understated. Clean, comfortable, warm and welcoming. It's a great place. And we especially appreciated that the kitchen was stocked with nice cookware and utensils, rather than the cheap pots and pans that seem to be in most townhomes we've ever rented. The hot tub was so convenient - literally 4 steps out the back door - all to ourselves. And the fluffy robes in each bedroom were a great to wrap up in when we climbed out. We were originally concerned that it might be a hassle to not have everything reserved and set up through a single reservation package through Copper - but it was not the least bit of an issue. Plus, we did the math when planning, and for what amounted to no real difference in convenience (booking everything in one shot vs going through Lou for the townhome and Copper for the ski-related stuff), we saved more than 20% overall for our 4 night long ski weekend. And again - by far the nicest place we've stayed. It's a no brainer - we will definitely try to get this place next time we head out to ski.

The Copper House was beautiful, warm and welcoming with fresh flowers greeting us upon our arrival. It was especially clean and tastefully decorated and appointed. The property was exactly as advertised. The well maintained hot tub was only three steps from the back door and was a well deserved luxury after a hard day's skiing. The owners have thought of everything to make our stay perfect - games, video and audio entertainment even down to comfy robes. By the end of the week The Copper House felt like home. All in all, a wonderful experience. Well worth the investment!

LOVED SPENDING THE INCOMING NEW YEAR IN A COZY AND FUN HOME AT THE BASE OF COPPER MOUNTAIN. WE SPENT THE MORNING SNOWSHOEING AND THE AFTERNOON TEARING UP THE MOUNTAIN ON SKIS/SNOWBOARDS. GOURMET COOKING IN THE KITCHEN. THE EVENING WAS FILLED WITH LAUGHTER WHILE PLAYING GAMES IN THE LIVING ROOM AROUND THE FIRE. TOOK A BREAK TO STEP OUTSIDE ON THE PORCH TO WATCH THE FIREWORKS THAT COPPER MOUNTAIN DISPLAYED IN THE LATE EVENING. SOAKING IN THE HOT TUB AND BRINGING IN THE NEW YEAR UNDER THE STARS! A PERFECT HOME FOR PARENTS AND ADULT CHILDREN TO SHARE MAGICAL MOMENTS.....it was such a treat working with the owners. Genuinely kind people who share their lovely home. You will be thoroughly impressed with the comfortable accommodations.

Great Christmas 2011 Experience

My family and I stayed at the Moeller House the week before Christmas and had a very nice time. My children are young, ages 9 to 14, and all loved their time here. Despite the fact that the house is located in the East Village, where immediate ski lift access is for the harder runs, we had absolutely no problem taking the short walk with full ski gear to the complimentary shuttle bus to the other side of the mountain. The house itself was nicely decorated with Christmas decorations- including a tree with lights! The hot tub was a definite plus, and it was very peaceful at night. Full kitchen made dinner time easy. The owner is very kind, and by the end of our week I considered her a friend.

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

Our 5 person, 3 generation family enjoyed 6 days in the Moeller townhouse in Copper Mountain. In our almost 30 years of ski vacations, we found this to be the best accomodations yet. The descriptions, photos, etc. were all accurate in that this is a truly nice, well decorated, comfortable home away from home. What makes it stand out the most, is the careful attention to detail that Lou has put into making it an enjoyable experience. All the amenities were taken care of. From the large selection of games and movies, to the detailed instructions, to all the little details of provisions (trash bags, paper goods, etc.) were thoughtfully provided. We'd recommend the Moeller home and hope to return there ourselves.

We absolutely loved our stay in this townhome! Perfect location - easy short walk to SuperBee and East Village. Very homey feel with lots of personal touches! Huge Master Suite, super soft sheets, big cozy couches with plenty of room for everyone. Great kitchen with everything you need and wonderful new range. Nothing better than soaking in the hot tub after a day on the slopes. Absolute luxury!!

We loved everything about this town home. Beautifully appointed with luxury amenities and yet very comfortable and cozy. Bright and airy, it was a perfect spot to spend the holiday with our young adult children and family. Being close to lift and tubing hill made it easy for everyone to come and go. Great to have the ski locker just outside the front door. Great views out the windows. We loved relaxing in the hot tub each night after skiing/snowboarding. The fluffy robes were a treat! Nice to have the games and movies for evening fun. Plenty to choose from. Kitchen/dining room was well appointed and clean and made meal prep convenient and dinner presentation nice for the holidays. Owner was very helpful in answering questions ahead of time. Even put up a Christmas tree up for us! We'll be back!

Well appointed townhome that is cozy & private yet you can walk to the lift and or bus service. If you are a skier, Copper Mountain offers some of the best skiing we have ever done and we ski 40-50 days a year! All in all a great value.

The Moeller's Copper Mt. home is fantastic! It is easily accessible from Boulder, and the location offers a variety of activities right outside your door: skiing, snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, ice-skating,snow-tubing, sleigh-rides in the winter, and biking,hiking,running and golf in the summer. Vail, Frisco/Breckenridge are accessible by bike path, and Copper Mt. Village is right out your door. The home itself is decorated in classic comfort! From the gas fireplace to the personal bathrobes for the hot tub, the Moeller's thought of every luxury for their guests! Cathedral ceilings and large windows help capture the mountain environment. Their home is warm and inviting! I can't wait to go back!

Moeller's Copper House should really be Moeller's Copper HOME. We felt as if we were staying at a family member's home. It's a most inviting place, lending itself well to a variety of rental needs. Lou was most helpful, prior to our arrival advising us of kitchen neccesities. Foozball and hottub sealed the deal! Great place, as is Copper.

This was our first experience with VRBO, and we picked a winner! The Moeller home is more beautiful and comfortable than we imagined. It was conveniently located close to the ski lift, which made it possible for us to take turns babysitting for the little grandchildren and come home for lunches. The heated ski lockers were a bonus, as was the hot tub and fluffy robes. The hot tub was professionally maintained and sparkling clean, and the area around was shoveled after each snowfall. There was something for everyone, from the comfortable conversation areas to the cupboard full of games, to the well-equipped kitchen, to the fireplace, to the huge windows with amazing mountain views. Above all, we all knew that the owners had taken many steps above and beyond the usual to make sure we were comfortable and would experience a quality family get-away. We will be back!

The Moeller's Copper home is one of the finest places I've ever stayed. I can't emphasize enough just how much of a home away from home it feels like... very highly recommended and a good value. The accommodations are well laid out, maintained, and relaxing after a day of skiing. They almost make you want to skip the slopes for a day! The location is convenient to East Village and the around-town shuttle, no more than a couple of minutes walk. We had a party of six adults (three couples) and were all extremely comfortable, although the master bedroom can't be beat. Lou will make you feel more welcome than most 5-star hotels from the second you book through the gift basket on arrival. If you're having a hard time deciding, don't: you won't find a better place in Copper. Thanks to the Moeller's for sharing their home with us.

We were fortunate to spend the week between Christmas and New Years in the Moeller's Copper Mountain home, which is exactly as it is billed. We were with our two granddaughters, ages 10 and 7, who were captivated with the place. They loved the bunk beds, the large TV for watching the Disney Channel and the hot tub. The Moeller's condo is very comfortable and warmly decorated. The mountain views from every direction are outstanding. This was our fourth summer in Colorado and we found this condo in Copper Mountain to be our best rental experience thus far. Searching for the ideal mountain getaway? You've found it! Beautifully decorated and meticulously maintained, the Moeller's townhome is ideal for families or couples. The open living area boasts a wall of windows, bringing in unobstructed mountain vistas and lots of natural light. The large upstairs master suite is quite a treat, with a comfortable bed, large desk, and mountain views. Cross-country skiing on the golf course is just out the back door, while the ski lifts and tubing hill are within easy walking distance. Our family has stayed in this townhome twice and we'll be back for more!

A rare treat to experience a place actually better than the web site advertises. Very homey and comfortable and ideal for a family. We've rented Copper owned condos for the past 8 years having a challenging time finding facilities for a family of 5. The Moeller condo is by far our best expereince - more room, more comfortable and feels like a home, not a hotel. We'll be back.

9/7/05 This lovely, spacious-feeling townhome has everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Warm and inviting, beautifully appointed but not cluttered, the home has all the conveniences, beautiful linens, plush robes for the fabulous hot tub, comfortable beds, excellent lighting and a well-equipped kitchen. There is a manual writen by the owners that gives easy-to-understand instructions for the hot tub and sound systems. It's a place we would love to visit again!

What a perfect getaway! We immediately felt at home. The location was great and the flowers surrounding the property were spectacular. This was our third VRBO experience in Copper Mountain and definitely the best. The townhome is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We all loved the hot tub and the cozy robes were a treat! The owners maintain a very comprehensive book of tourist information - menus, maps and activities for every season. Everything was great. Our trip was short but very pleasant.

This property is exactly as promised, and more. My family spent a delightful Spring Break week at the property. The home was charming and we had everything we needed at our fingertips. We had a few guest over for a delightful St. Patrick's Day dinner and everyone raved about the furnishings and location. I was even able to work one day from the home office on the Internet while the family was skiing. The snow was great, the views were amazing and the house was nicer than our own. Lou was a wonderful accommodating hostess. We highly recommend the property. Copper House is more than a rental property it was a relaxing destination.
