Saw a bear walking up the street. Working with the fish at Taylor Creek while the bears were eating the fish in the fall.
Purchase over 20 years ago. Done a lot of updating to bring this home to made it cozy for everyone's vacation. We feel your vacation is very important to us. Since we live in Sacramento we can have hands on to help maintain it. It has been in the family over 20 years. It is located in the most beautiful setting in Tahoe. Pine trees and nature, peaceful. If you do decide to go into town it is only 8 miles away from the casino's and 6 miles away from the lake. Family owned and operated. Married 38 years with 3 children. Now my son-in-law enjoys it with my daughter and there baby. Our Children loves being in Tahoe with there friends and staying @ the house. Going fishing and hiking or just relaxing or go to the snow or just have a B-B-Q. on the beautiful decks that is open to the wonderful world of nature. All the benefits of camping out with the luxury of a house.

My family & I enjoyed Lake Tahoe for the 1st time as this year's family vacation! This cabin was comfortable and a nice size! We found the cabin to be in a FANTASTIC location...nestled in a nice woodsy area, close to the grocery store and K-Mart, and also close enough to enjoy boating, river rafting, horseback riding and the casino shopping area! The owner, Jeannette, was easy to deal with, friendly and gave us tips that helped! I would definitely recommend staying here and already have told my family and friends! I spent some time out on the top deck and enjoyed the fresh air and trees! My sons, husband and I were lucky enough to see a bear from the deck, too! What a wonderful treat!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

I stayed here last July and it was in a gorgeous location. And the owner called to see if all was okay upon our arrival. That was very sweet of her. The house was really big and comfy atmostphere. Will stay here again. Its close to shop and about 10min to the lake. Thank you.

I recently stayed at this vacation rental. This cabin made me feel right at home, it was very peaceful, relaxing and inviting. In the end, when my family and I, had to leave it was very upsetting. However, the thing that was comforting was the knowledge that I will be back next year.
