ACTIVITIES - Hiking at Mount Ellenore, Washington, Rose, and Staircase, check with the local ranger station in Hoodsport for update information. Hoodsport offers shops, restaurants, liquor store, gas station, and winery. Public boat launch to Hood Canal nearby. Scuba diving, fishing, and more. PRIVATE COMMUNITY PARK – is approximaetly ¼ mile from cabin that includes boat launch, dock, gazebo, picnic tables, swimming area, and horseshoes. Day use only, requires a vehicle park pass & watercraft launch pass. Owners will provide only one vehicle park pass to cut down on congestion during peak season. ***$6.00 fee for a 3-day boat/watercraft launch pass will be charged that is non-refundable. Only one will be issued for each three days.*** Lake levels vary! The Lake is usually high enough to launch a watercraft from Memorial weekend thru Labor Day weekend, but due to a dry spring and large snow pack, levels may be lower than usual.
