We're well into the ski season now, with the Thanksgiving/ Christmas/New Year’s Holiday season behind us. We're all looking forward to lots of snow and fun on the slopes. The runs are open & the lifts are running. Keystone Resorts has been busy planning events and activities for the coming months to enhance your stay. Check out their "links" for more information and make your reservations early as space is often limited. We still have some late January dates and Feb & March are filling up fast, so plan early for your vacation lodging. You will find that information on our "AVAILABILITY CALENDAR" next to this intro. Checking it will save everyone time and effort as you explore lodging options.
Many guests have booked early for their preferred 'ski season' dates. We encourage you to lock in your lodging plans as early as possible in insure the best lodging deals. 1-BR units sell out quickly, especially during the prime dates around the holidays and on the weekends. If you delay you risk disappointment.
We're also here to help you plan your spring/summer/fall 'get-a-ways' with family and friends at a great location where you can escape the heat at the lower elevations, relax, and enjoy each other and nature. We've seen fox, ducks, geese, and trout (15+") from our picture windows during our previous stays. We'll guess that you'll see wildlife in the wetlands too. Please call or write for additional details. If our unit is booked we can sometimes help with referrals to other Riverbank Lodge owners which might earn you the coveted "Hero" status with your family.
If you are interested in booking and your dates are showing "Available" contact us ASAP. I do my best to keep the calendar current for your convenience. Keystone frequently sells out of River Bank Lodge 1-BR units and ours is subject to that issue. Contact us ASAP and we can probably "hold" them for you while you firm up your plans. If you wait, that opportunity may be lost. We know you are 'shopping' for good deals. Please understand that while it's "First Come -- First Served", we try to reply to all inquiries promptly. If your dates get reserved by another guest before we receive a positive response, there's little we can do.
Don't be fooled by other listings advertising really low rates. They may throw in extra fees (e.g., $100 cleaning fees, Key fee, etc.) or be a distance from the shops/activities/lifts & slopes requiring shuttle bus or auto travel. Our rates specify exactly what you're lodging expense will be. Nothing is hidden or added later.
My wife and I've installed two NEW "Flat Panel" LCD HD TVs in our unit. The one in the living room is a 32" Panasonic and the bedroom has a 24" Vizio. Our HD satellite signal provider is Dish Network. FREE, High Speed Wireless Internet service is also provided.
We purchased and installed a new glass dining room table and six chairs in the "southwest" style in April ‘10. That July we added a rustic hutch for the kitchenette area, providing more storage and adding to our unit's "southwest" theme.
Our condo, Unit # 2906, is located in the River Bank Lodge building which is in the River Run Village area of Keystone. A short 400 yard walk will have you at the Keystone Gondola loading station. In less than half that distance you can be in the heart of Keystone's River Run Village shopping, restaurants, and night life.
During the summer/fall of '09, our Condo Association made a number of upgrades to the interior and exterior of the building to enhance your vacation experience. They include new carpet in the halls and stairways, a new enlarged deck on the rear of the building overlooking the wetlands, new paint on the exterior of the building, installed a new roof, and a new water heating system providing for nearly instantaneously available HOT Water, and re-sealed/stripped the parking lot. In April 2011 they opened our new workout area. Parking is free, open-air, and off-street. There is one parking space for each unit with a "hang tag" provided for your car. Additional parking is available nearby, if needed.
My wife and I purchased this condo in the fall of 2005. We looked at many condos in the Keystone Resort area before deciding on the River Bank Lodge for the incredible view, the Jacuzzi, and the serenity. Unit #2906 is on the first floor and second from the center of the building to the right, when viewed from the parking lot.
The vista from our living room gives you the feeling that you are in the middle of the wilderness, yet you are but a 5-8 minute walk, less than 400 yards, from all the shops and the River Run gondola. The Village has several fine restaurants, coffee shops, and sports bars. For a truly remarkable dining experience, make a reservation at the 5 Star “Alpenglow Stube”. You’ll ride the gondola up Dercum Mt. and a second lift to the top of North Peak at 11,444’ above sea level where you’ll start your dining experience near a fireplace wearing warm slippers. After dinner and the gondola ride to the base, spend a romantic evening in our condo with its fireplace and Jacuzzi. You’ll have to provide the sparks.
One of the best kept secrets of the Rocky Mountains is Keystone in the summer. Keystone has two championship golf courses. For the more adventuresome guest, the gondola will take you and your mountain bike to the top of the mountain so that you can enjoy an easy ride down on groomed roads or, a thrill ride down via the bike trails. Check out all of the other activities in the surrounding area to enhance your summer vacation experience.
We'd like to extend an apology to any of our guest's whose inquiries during July and August, 2010, went unanswered. Our family experienced the tragic loss of our oldest daughter and we had family business which took precedence. A special thanks to those who wrote expressing sympathy, consolation, and offers of assistance. Kandace will be missed, but will be forever in our hearts.

We chose the River Bank Lodge, River Run Village, Keystone for several reasons, including the view from our picture window which is spectacular. The peace and tranquility of the mountains in the distance with the Snake River wetlands and all of nature's wildlife on display at our door step, make for a wonderfully relaxing vacation experience, no matter the season. The shopping and dining available in the "Village" are but a five minute walk from our door.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The River Bank Lodge is ideally situated for year-round vacation enjoyment due to its LOCATION and proximity to Keystone Resorts facilities. The view from the heart shaped indoor Jacuzzi overlooking the wetlands & Dercum Mountain in the distance, is unique. Easily accommodating four adults, our unit is but a short walk to/from the ski slopes, lift, village activities, & night-life. Only 1.5 hrs from DIA and you can be nestled in Colorado's High Country. The Keystone Conference Center is only 2 miles away, making it very handy for corporate guests.

My wife, Bonita, and I have retired to our new home in rural Kansas, south of Overland Park. We are both originally Nebraska Cornhuskers and have been living in Sparta, NJ for the last 25 years. I was a Continental Airlines Capt, retired by the mandatory "Age 60" rule, and my wife, a Dental Hygienist. We are enjoying the peaceful lifestyle in our Midwest home near our families and friends.

This Condo is truly a hidden gem. Comfortable furniture, equipped kitchen, wall-mounted blow dryer in bathroom (that was important), tastefully decorated, spectacular views, and of course, the wonderful heart-shaped jacuzzi tub! We watched the ducks swim up, just outside the living room window. That evening, we enjoyed a great meal at River Run Village (a short 5-minute walk). Everything was perfect, and we plan to visit many times in the future!

First off the owners are amazing. This was my first time using VRBO Gary and Bonita made the rental easy and simple. The Condo is AMAZING. Exactly as advertised which seems rare these days. We had three mid 20 year olds and we found the condo perfect. Great view of the mountain, short and easy walk to the Gondola lift. We have made the winter trip to Keystone for three years now, the previous two we stayed in a hotel and renting the condo for an entire week was not much more expensive. Plus all the extra benefits, short walk no drive to the mountain daily, kitchen so meals were bought at grocery store instead of going out for every meal, and resting during the day was even convenient. If you are looking for a nice place to stay for a great value this is your place. Gary and Bonita thank you very much!!

We've rented this unit twice, and keep coming back because: 1) The view is tremendous - all you see out of the living-room windows is the mountain 2) The location is great - less than 300 yds to lifts and even closer to River Run village 3) The value is wonderful! 4) The owner is really friendly and helpful, and you can tell he cares about your having a great experience! My only wish would be for a slightly softer mattress in the bedroom, but I realize a lot of people like a firm mattress. We have 2 kids and they sleep comfortably on the pull-out sofa in the living room. The building is in a quiet location, away from the noise of the village, but still close to all the action. We'll be back!

This place is really cool and the location is great as well. It's just as advertised. Just a couple walking minutes from everything and still very secluded. The apartment is great and the setup with the jacuzzi is awesome. The owners are great too and communication was very pleasant. We will definitely come back.

I must say that this condo is as good as advertised. This condo was immaculate. The private jacuzzi tub was awesome to come back to after a hard days riding. The kitchen is small, but worked perfectly for me. The microwave is also a convection oven, which was PERFECT. The view was spectacular, the location was great and the condo was so much fun. Gary and Bonita did an excellent job taking care of all of my questions. They really are focused on making your time spent there as easy and convenient as possible. I can't wait to go back.

All I can say is WOW, what a wonderful condo! We really enjoyed our stay in Keystone and it was great coming back to a nice, cozy place after a day of skiing! Your condo was fabulous and we really enjoyed the private "jacuzzi tub", and the fireplace! The location to the gondola and all the shops was terrific, a quick walk up the street! I loved staying in your condo at Keystone. The view from the living room took my breath away. I never saw the beaver, but enjoyed the ducks, muskrat, and swallows. Being that close to nature was good for my soul. Thank you for sharing your very special place with me.

Our family had very much enjoyed our stay a the Burritt's condo. It was just the right size for a family of four. The facilities neat and clean, and added benefit of having the laundry right down the hall. There is a beautiful view, especially the mountain luminated with the night ski runs. Close enough to partake in all of the action, but far enough away from the noise and crowds. We would definitely consider staying again if available.

My husband, daughter and I really enjoyed our stay at your condo this past week. We LOVED the view overlooking the lake area from the living room, and had a comfortable and quiet stay. We slept quite well on the pullout couch while our daughter slept in the bedroom in her crib (fit nicely in the closet, actually) We'll recommend your unit to others who are looking for lodging in the Keystone area.
