Don't be fooled by other listings advertising really low rates. They may throw in extra fees (e.g., $100 cleaning fees, Key fee, etc.) or be distant from the shops/activities/lifts & slopes requiring shuttle bus or auto travel. Our rates specify exactly what you will pay. Nothing hidden.

As of 11/1/2005 High speed Internet service is now available in our condo. You need to provide the laptop though. We are providing this service for FREE. No need to pay $10 per day (like a lot of units in River Run Village charge)! In addition, we just installed an 802.11b access point so you can connect wirelessly if your laptop is so equipped (SSID and encyrption key information is in the condo).
Currently, there are very few units in Keystone which have high speed internet. Many of the units that do have high speed Internet charge you $10 per day to use it. If you want to connect to the Internet you are limited to dial up and in most cases you need to use an 800 number which usually has a $.06 - $.10 per minute surcharge.

Our condo, Unit # 2906, is located in the River Bank Lodge building which is in the River Run Village area of Keystone. A short 400 yard walk will have you at the (New for '08/'09) Keystone Gondola loading station. In less than half that distance you can be in the heart of Keystone's River Run Village shopping, restaurants, and night life. During the summer/fall of '09, our Condo Association has made a number of upgrades to the interior and exterior of the building to enhance your vacation experience.
My wife and I purchased this condo in the fall of 2005. The previous owner, Dave Burritt and his wife owned it for 11 years. When we purchased it we looked at many condos in the Keystone Resort area. We choose our condo in the River Bank Lodge vs. any of the other ones in River Run because of the incredible view, the Jacuzzi, and the serenity.
Our condo is on the first floor and you can almost always see ducks, beaver, and trout right from the living room window.
The view gives you the feeling you are in the middle of the wilderness yet you are but a 5-8 minute walk from all the shops and the River Run gondola.
Dave & Nancy started renting via the Internet & VRBO in approximately 2000. My wife Bonita and I are continuing to advertise our unit as VRBO #525, established soon after VRBO started. We are continuing to maintain the high level of service and guest satisfaction Dave & Nancy enjoyed. The majority of our winter business is from our returning guests, many who have become friends.
One of the best kept secrets of the Rocky Mountains is Keystone in the summer time. Keystone has two championship golf courses. In addition, the gondola runs all summer so you can rent a mountain bike, take it to the top of the mountain (via the gondola) and enjoy an easy ride down the mountain on groomed roads or, if you are feeling adventerous, a thrill ride down via the bike trails.

Why the Owner Chose River Run, River Bank Lodge
We chose the River Bank Lodge, River Run Village, Keystone for several reasons, including the view from our picture window which is spectacular. The peace and tranquility of the mountains in the distance with the Snake River wetlands and all of nature's wildlife on display at our door step, make for a wonderfully relaxing vacation experience, no matter the season. The shopping and dining available in the "Village" are but a five minute walk from our door.

The River Bank Lodge is ideally situated for year-round vacation enjoyment due to its LOCATION and proximity to Keystone Resorts facilities. The view from the heart shaped indoor Jacuzzi overlooking the wetlands & Dercum Mountain in the distance, is unique. Easily accommodating four adults, our unit is but a short walk to/from the ski slopes, lift, village activities, & night-life. Only 1.5 hrs from DIA and you can be nestled in Colorado's High Country. The Keystone Conference Center is only 2 miles away, making it very handy for corporate guests.

My wife, Bonita, and I have retired to our new home in rural Kansas, south of Overland Park. We are both originally Nebraska Cornhuskers and have been living in Sparta, NJ for the last 25 years. I was a Continental Airlines Capt, retired by the mandatory "Age 60" rule, and my wife, a Dental Hygienist. We are enjoying the peaceful lifestyle in our Midwest home near our families and friends.

The fridge in the unit is not a full size fridge. It is large enough for most people but if you come with a family of 5 and plan on doing lots of cooking then it would be wise to bring some coolers.
