If you're looking for the perfect get-away in the mountains, you've found it! This two bedroom, two bath Condo has everything your family needs to enjoy a stay in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. The Rockies are spectacular year-round - so much to do and see, you will want to return again and again. Our location in Wildernest puts you conveniently near several major ski resorts, hiking and snowshoeing trails, biking trails and fishing waters.
Our unit is fully furnished in charming "mountain style" and the kitchen is completely equipped for you. The master bedroom has a king-size bed; the second bedroom has two bunk beds that each contain a double bed on the bottom and single bed on top. Each bedroom has a TV with cable. The comfortable living room has a fireplace, cable TV, DVD player, VCR, and stereo. The kitchen table seats six, with two more seats at the counter bar. And on top of all of this, there is a picturesque view of the mountains and wetlands out the windows. You may even see moose grazing in the wetlands below the Condo while you are sitting on the balcony!
After a full day of exploring the area, you can relax at a nightspot in town, or at one of the three clubhouses available to our guests. The clubhouses each have a pool and hot tub, as well as fun games like pool and air hockey. Your kids will never want to leave! Shoppers will want to take advantage of the extensive Outlet Mall located at the base of Buffalo Mountain.
For the comfort of our other guests, there is no smoking and no pets allowed.

Year Purchased: 2009
I presently live in a small community in southeastern Tampa Bay called Ruskin. I work for the county government as an environmental/restoration scientist. I am an outdoor enthusiaist and the Tampa Bay area allowed me to enjoy fishing, golfing, birding, biking, hiking, camping, etc. I discovered the Wildernest area of the Rockies and skiing eight years ago, fell in love with the area and what it had to offer, and vowed then to make the effort to purchase a residence there before I retire. I was lucky enough to find this unit available this year and got my wish. I don't retire for four years so I want to make my condo available and allow visitors to discover this area as I did, until I retire. At that time, I will move out here and spent the rest of my days in the Rockies.
Why the Owner Chose Buffalo Ridge
Location, location, location! In the winter I can choose from world class skiing at six resorts that are all located within 45 minutes. Cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobileing are also available close by. Clubhouse amenities that come with this Condo allow you to warm up in hot tubs and heated pools after a day on the slopes. Cool summer days accommodate biking and hiking, fishing, and golf and all these activities are located with minutes of the Condo. In fact, hiking and biking trail heads are located within steps of the front door of the Condo.
