Welcome to “Dolphin Lookout™,' where you can actually see the dolphins as they swim by in the ocean. The spectacular view to the left is the actual view of the ocean, beach, and pool that you will see from both of your bedrooms, your living room, and your two balconies as a guest in this fantastic villa. In fact, the view you will see is actually closer than the picture shows it to be, since the picture was taken to show the panoramic view. This villa is so spectacular that since 2007 we have booked it over 300 days each year. Each year we freshened it up and add several new features. All three televisions (living room, master bedroom, second bedroom) are large screen HD TVs with DVD players. The kitchen appliances are all stainless steel and installed in December 2011. In January 2013 the master bedroom king bed, second bedroom full bed and queen bed are new with all new bedding. At the same time we updated the living room with a Lazy-Boy queen sofa bed and two swivel chairs to make enjoying the incredible views that much easier. Many families return each year because of the villa's view, its inside décor, its cleanliness and for the detail and care for which we treat our guests. Each year our returning guests and their referrals account for a larger percentage of our guests. We have dozens of very positive reviews. Please ask to see them. We will gladly email them to you.

This villa has direct access to the beach, which is less than a 3-minute walk away. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath, almost 1250 square foot villa also includes a living room, dining area and kitchen with utility closet (with washer and dryer). Since purchasing this villa is 2003 we have enhanced it with all new flooring, new living sofa bed and chairs (2013), new balcony furniture (2011)(bar stool height to allow for easy enjoyment of the incredible view), new blinds throughout, new painting, newly installed stainless steel kitchen appliances (December 2011), 3 large screen HDTVs (2011), and many other touches. Both bedroom suites have privacy with closet, shower and a terrace/balcony so you can enjoy the magnificent views. The master bedroom also has a Jacuzzi tub. The living room has a very comfortable queen sized sleeper sofa. For in-villa relaxation, each bedroom and the living room have an HDTV with 90+channels and a DVD. There is free high speed wireless Internet throughout and free long distance calling in the United States and Canada. Villamare even has its own fitness center, FREE to guests, with indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna, 7 cardio machines with TVs, universal gym and free-weights. Book early to assure availability.
Five things separate our villas from most other villas on Hilton Head Island:
1) We have contracted with a company that inspects your villa between visits to insure the villa is in top notch shape for your visit. The inspectors are not the cleaning service. They are a separate company that inspects your villa to make sure everything works properly and is clean for your arrival.
2) You automatically become a member of our Frequent Guest Club™. This entitles you to the previous year’s rates on ANY of our three Hilton Head properties on your return visits, year after year. Membership starts immediately after your visit, so come back later this year or later years and get the previous year’s rates.
3) We have arrangements with bike rental, boat rental and golf course rentals to give our guests discounts. All you need do is call them and give them the password we supply you.
4) A Welcome Packet that includes directions to the villa, numbers to call if you need anything during your stay, a list of over 60 Hilton Head restaurants, and more.
5) In addition to us being involved owners and available for your needs, we have a local company that will be available 24/7, just in case of emergencies during your visit. If something doesn’t work properly during your stay, you call them, and they are there.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you are pricing other Villamare villas, we advise you to ask ALL Villamare owners, if the pictures on their website are actually the view from their villa and pictures of their villa. Some owners who own villas with limited views may show “canned” pictures as if they are the actual views from their villa. OUR views and pictures within the villa are the actual view and interior.

We loved staying in this condo. We woke up every morning overlooking the beautiful beach and pool. It's true...we saw dolphins! The condo had everything we needed. It was quiet, comfortable and clean. The pool area is great. There are comfy chairs, a big pool and a baby pool. Also, there is a nice grill area and a deck with oversized Adirondack chairs. The Marriot is next door and we enjoyed walking over and having a drink or a snack while sitting beachside. We also liked walking up to the General Store and buying fun goodies. You cannot go wrong renting this condo!Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

This vacation rental was exactly as advertised! It is in a great location with a perfect view of the ocean. We enjoyed our morning coffee sitting on the balcony and watching the ocean waves. The condo itself was very clean and comfortable. The furnishings were modern and welcoming. We will definitely be back when we vacation again at Hilton Head.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

This is our 7th winter at Dolphin Lookout for a 3 month stay. We are so comfortable living in this villa. The owner is continually updating the property with new furniture, appliances etc. and very responsive to any requests we make. The kitchen is completely supplied for cooking & dining. Overall it is very clean and has all the amenities we enjoy. It's our home away from home. We have an incredible view of the ocean from 3 rooms - golf, tennis, swimming, beach and fitness center are all in walking distance. This is a wonderful place for families, friends or couples to enjoy a great vacation!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

Our second stay at "Dolphin Lookout" was excellent. We love the location and unbeatable ocean views. We love riding bikes on the beach, but this time we spent plenty of time at the (heated!) outdoor pool. The villa was in great shape again and we really enjoyed it - we highly recommend it. We'll be back again next year!!Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

The view was incredible. The property was not clean. We had to clean the floors ourselves (they made our feet black and our children complained) and wipe down some areas(walls, light switches, cupboards etc.) that had visible dirt from previous visitors. I called regarding the blinds that could not be opened in the guest bedroom (so much for enjoying the ocean view). I was told that they would be looked at or replaced in a couple of days and no one showed to take care of that. This was our third stay at Villamare and our third condo.....we enjoyed our other units more than this one. Appliances need to be updated (dishwasher, toaster, iron....) and it needs a thorough cleaning. For the amount of money we paid to stay there I wasn't impressed. I recommend the location of the unit, but changes need to be made to make it more enjoyable.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: 2500+ and counting ;-). I personally own and manage this villa. Since 2003, when I purchased the villa, we have had 100s of families who have been our guests for over 2500 days. Many return time and time again. We have had dozens of positive testimonials, several of which appear on our property’s website. I have invested well over $30,000 upgrading the villa. I feel badly about this one family’s experience. I was not aware of their concerns until I called them to see how they were enjoying the villa, two days after they arrived. They told me at that point about the cleaning and blinds, and said everything else was fine. They told me they handled the cleaning and didn’t see the need to call me. I surely wish they had called me; and immediately after their arrival. I would have personally contacted the company that cleans our villa and demanded they go back and clean the villa correctly or lose the cleaning contract. The blinds must have been broken the week before by the previous guest. The blinds have been fixed, but as special order blinds, they couldn’t be fixed immediately. I apologized formally to this family when we spoke two days after their arrival. I still feel bad about their experience. I have put new safe guards in place on how the villa is taken care of to make sure this doesn’t ever happen again.

I chose to buy this property for numerous reasons. First, Villamare and this villa especially, have incredible views. Second, Villamare takes pride in the upkeep of the grounds and facilities. It is also the only villa complex on the Island, to our knowledge, that has an indoor pool, sauna, hot tub and cardio equipment / weights in an indoor building on its grounds. Third, Hilton Head, and especially Palmetto Dunes, has an incredible beach. Fourth, Hilton Head is one of the most beautiful family spots and beaches on the east coast.
