A quiet house off of the road, safe for children to play in the back yard. Walking distance to restaurants and town. Including the famous Captain Cass', which is steps away to dine and watch the sunset from the restaurant. The house sits behind my house on its own 1/2 acre lot with a shared driveway, with most of the property in back.
The house is 2/10th mile to Rock Harbor and 1 mile to Skaket Beach and just 3.5 miles to Nauset Beach, Christmas Tree Shop 1 1/2miles. Of course this is the best location for all your vacation plans. Orleans is located in the middle of the Cape so all your vacation plans can happen. We are offering a discount for July 18-25 down to $1200.00!! June 27-July 1 $500.00!! July 18-25 is open; August 29-September 5 summer rate is $1850.00 September is open too. $1000/week stay for two weeks and it will be $700.00/wk, these are off season rates!
Four bedrooms one bath. Large second floor bedroom with 2 sky lights and windows at each end of the room with queen size bed. The living room has a lovely french door. A small wood stove is in the living room with a brick background plus a mantle.
The first floor master bedroom has cottage white bead board, oak floor and wood headboard and footboard, floor fans in every room plus a ceiling fan in the living room. If you are planning your vacation around the 4th of July please remember that the fire works are right down the street at Rock Harbor, no more searching for a parking space.
Another room has tongue and grove painted off white and the third bedroom downstairs has tongue and grove in it's natural color which is beautiful this room has the bunkbed and a natical theme.
Brand new freshly laundered sheets, bath and beach towels "FREE" of charge.
The huge neat lawn has half acre of backyard. There is a fish pond with a bridge and a rock garden. Huge mature roses in the front and back. Red and light pink.
The backyard is adjacent to 7 acres of privately owned woods. This is very private and off of the road. We also have available beach chairs and beach toys as well as yard toys for your little ones. Outdoor furniture table and chairs.
My favorite time is low tide at Rock Harbor where you go out on the flats and explore, there aren't to many shells to cut your feet either. High tide is 10 ft difference so it perfect for all ages.
The Cape Cod Rail/Trail is in walking or riding distance(less than a 1/2 mile away) you can rent bikes and trailers(for carrying children) at this location.
This house was freshly painted and new carpet was installed 6/08!!
Orleans is also famous for it's fresh water ponds there are many to choose.
