We just got home yesterday and had a wonderful time!! Great experience with the booking process, and all the information we were given about the rental space was accurate! The house was nicely furnished, nicely decorated, clean, and in walking distance from the beach! I went with a group of college students from our church and we all had a really fun time! The beach wasn't super busy, so we had plenty of room to spread out! Still close enough to town for us to go in for dinner, the Track, Waterville, etc. The neighborhood was quiet, but we did talk to some of the neighbors and they were all very friendly! I would definitely recommend this house to a friend or relative and hope to come back another time!

We simply loved this house. When we rented it, we didn't realize it was 15 miles from Gulf Shores out towards Ft. Morgan...but it's still on the beach, and away from the traffic and loudness of Gulf Shores. It was absolutely wonderful. In a little "neighborhood" of houses on the beach, it's a block from the beach, next to one of two community pools...plenty of space, in fairly good shape, given it's a rental and sees ALOT of different traffic...even has high speed internet and cable TV and new kitchen appliances. The price was more than reasonable...it's low compared to other properties in the neighborhood. Would I come back again? You bet I would...in a heartbeat. I had all my kids and their spouses and little ones too, and it was a unanimous THUMBS UP on this place...we are all thrilled with it, and really glad for the seclusion from the city and the traffic.

This was our first trip to Gulf Shores and we really enjoyed it. The location of this beach house is ideal. There are ocean views from the porches and the windows in the family/dining room and upstairs master bedroom. The pool is just steps away and the beach access is just beyond the pool. There was always a nice breeze when sitting outside. The home has a nice floor plan and was very comfortable. The location in Morgantown is away from the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores, but driving in to the grocery and restaurants was reasonable. There was a fresh shrimp vendor that came through twice a day. We went into Mobile to the USS Alabama Battleship and stopped at Lambert's Cafe on the way back. Great home cooked food and quite an experience. On our way home, we were already talking about going back next summer.
Owner response:Thanks Julie, it was great to meet you and your family. Hurry back! Tim

My Husband and I decided that we were going to go to gulf shores for our honeymoon and invited 6 of our friends to go with us. We looked around for a house to rent and found License to Chill. This 4 bedroom 3 bath house was absolutely wonderful. The master suite was terrific for a honeymoon. We had a king size bed, our own adjoining bath and walk in closet with our own balcony. We had a wonderful view of the beach and the gulf. I am definitely interested in coming back here next time or somewhere in the same area. The neighbors that we had at the time were very friendly and our walk to the beach was a breeze. We rented very last minute and was very impressed with the cleanliness of the house and the property and all the amenities that was provided that we didn't have to bring on our own. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful quiet getaway. We ate at Lamberts Cafe at it was a wonderful experience, not only was the service wonderful but the food was terrific. We went to the tanger outlet mall and it is so big you could spend almost a whole day there and the deals really are good.

We had a wonderful time at "License to Chill". It had everything we needed, the beach is terrific and the February weather was great, 70 degrees most days. The house was just as described and close enough to Gulf Shores to enjoy the attractions and resturants there, yet nice to come home to the guiet, peaceful surroundings. It is a great house to share with another family, as there is a master downstairs and up. Everyone had privacy when they wanted it. Thanks Tim, we hope to return next year. Kathy PS Our favorite resturant was Lulu's, and we planned it for "down times" and did great, even on Valentines Day! It was one of the highlights for our grandchildren when they visited.
