Snowball Lodge sits at 8400 feet on a flat lot with views of the ski runs from the front and Wheelers Peak from the back. Located six blocks from the ski lift. The Lodge is a short walk west of the Community Center and the new playground. There is plenty of parking for your groups vehicles on our circular drive.
The floor plan offers more than 4000 square feet and will accommodate groups and reunions from 20 to 44 people. The large kitchen features two refrigerators and two ranges, a dishwasher, and all of the equipment and utensils necessary to prepare a feast for a large crowd. A 32 inch TV located above the pantry can be viewed from the seating for eight around the kitchen bar or from the great room.
The spiral staircase in the great room leads to a carpeted loft with games and pool table, two sofas and a TV set up for games only. We have a separate TV room in the loft with an extensive VCR/DVD library. The great room with woodburning stove and view from the large windows is a great place for your large group to congregate and be comfortable. The north-facing, two-story wall of windows provides a great view of Wheeler Peek and area wildlife in the early mornings. Two coves off the great room provide an eating or game area for the little people and dining for everyone. In all, there is seating for 32 at the bar and dining tables.
There is an east and west wing on either side of the great room, with three bedrooms in each wing; two sleeping ten and the other four sleeping five and one bedroom in the loft sleeping five. All bedrooms and the great room have ceiling fans and in-floor hot water heat with controls in every room. There is a large double bath and a single bath on each wing - making a total of six showers, six stools, and six sinks. The Lodge is also equipped with a washer, dryer, and a large sink in the utility room. All bedding is furnished but you will need to bring your bath linens.

Five of my friends from college and our husbands spent 4 nights at the Snowball Lodge and we had a wonderful time. The lodge was clean and kithcen was well equipped, We were able to make all meals at the lodge and sit down and enjoy the meals and visit. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck drinking coffee in the morning, doing yoga on the back deck and have a glass of wine in the evening. I would recommend this lodge for any larger group. We enjoyed the nearby shopping, playing golf and the Hot Air Ballon Rally. It was a great time!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1998
Why the Owner Chose Angel Fire:
Fourteen members of our family built this cabin because we could never find a place large enough to accomodate all of us together, and we wanted our children to bond to each other reguardless of where we lived. It has worked out perfectly whether we are all there together or in seperate groups with our friends.
