Relax in this comfortable, one bedroom condo located exactly where you want to be, in the middle of it all, at 'The Pines at Orehouse Plaza'.
The view is spectacular. From either the master bedroom, living area or the private patio you can watch the sun rise over Mt. Werner and the Steamboat Ski Area. After a day on the slopes or shopping in town, come back and relax in front of the raised hearth, riverstone fireplace or soak in one of the 12 jet hot tubs located just a few steps away from the front door.
It couldn't be more convenient! Located between the Ski area and historic downtown. Getting around Steamboat is easy with the frequent service of the Steamboat Springs Transit (SST) free bus route. There are two stops just a short walk from your front door. Also just a couple of minutes away on foot you'll find shopping at Central Park Plaza and Sundance Plaza with: two grocery stores, liquor, fresh bagels, pizza, DVD rentals and much more. Equipment rentals are also easy to arrange with the great selection at Ski Haus.
Across the street you'll find the beautiful Yampa River trail, which continues for over 4 miles and is popular in all seasons, and the Steamboat Barn Village trail. Under the Colorado sunshine you'll enjoy these trails for cycling, running and walking. The river is also popular for fly fishing, kayaking and tubing.
The accommodations are tastefully furnished and very comfortable for two to four people. The bedroom features an upgraded queen bed with high quality linens and a ceiling fan. The living area features a queen size sleeper sofa and ceiling fan. Throughout you will enjoy the comfortable furnishings and attention to detail which complements the Steamboat Spirit. This unit features a walk through kitchen with plenty of counter space and upgraded appliances. There is a dining table with seating for four along with additional seating at the bar. The bathroom is spacious, bright, and features an upgraded shower that will leave you refreshed. All linens, towels, dishes and cookware are included as are an iron/ironing board, soaps and laundry detergent. Everything you need for a pleasant stay is here. Also offering complimentary hi-speed wifi so you can stay connected if you wish. The first floor location is wheel chair accessible, this also makes moving in and out a breeze. Once in Steamboat you will not need a vehicle. The accessibility of this location can't be beat.

What a joy for our first condo experience. We could not have asked for more. Huge side by side fridge, all the kitchen stuff you could need, 2 TVs, lovely dining area and living room, washer, dryer. Clean and great! The free Steamboat bus to downtown and the mountain means you can avoid the traffic. Grocery stores and restaurants are within easy walking distance.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car.

Scott's condo was clean, cozy and very comfortable! It's Steamboat-western decor (the lamps are my fave) and well-stocked cabinets and closets create a warm and inviting home. It was easy to communicate with Scott in preparation for my trip, and he promptly addressed all of my questions and concerns. I look forward to a second trip to Steamboat, and hope to stay at his condo again. I HIGHLY recommend this place! Thank you, Scott!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

Snowshoeing Rabbit Ears Pass' west summit was the highlight of our stay. Lyon Drug store has some fantastic chocolate soda. What a perfect getaway. Scott, your place couldn't have been better. Very impressed with the set up, location and hospitality. This was our first stay in Steamboat and it is truly a "playground". We hiked the core trail, experienced the farmers market, had a wonderful brunch on the mountain following a gondola ride up, visited Fish Creek falls and even had time to kick back and relax. The Yampa Getaway is beginning to feel like home! It's such a relief, after three long days on the road, to arrive here at last. The condo is conveniently located and well-stocked with all the necessities. All the comforts of home away from home. We will be back. This was our 4th stay and we hope to stay longer next year! About the owner: I have been coming to Steamboat since 1984 and had the chance to live and work in Steamboat in 1998. I travel a lot and live overseas but coming back to Steamboat is something I always look forward to. Steamboat and the Yampa Valley are a special part of the world.

I love convenience and this location is perfect. I can be on the Yampa trail in a few minutes, board a free bus to the mountain or downtown or easily take care of shopping. It's all right here!
