Scott's condo was clean, cozy and very comfortable! It's Steamboat-western decor (the lamps are my fave) and well-stocked cabinets and closets create a warm and inviting home. It was easy to communicate with Scott in preparation for my trip, and he promptly addressed all of my questions and concerns. I look forward to a second trip to Steamboat, and hope to stay at his condo again. I HIGHLY recommend this place! Thank you, Scott!

The Yampa Getaway is beginning to feel like home! It's such a relief, after three long days on the road, to arrive here at last. The condo is conveniently located and well-stocked with all the necessities. All the comforts of home away from home. We will be back. This was our 4th stay and we hope to stay longer next year! What a perfect getaway. Scott, your place couldn't have been better. Very impressed with the set up, location and hospitality. This was our first stay in Steamboat and it is truly a "playground". We hiked the core trail, experienced the farmers market, had a wonderful brunch on the mountain following a gondola ride up, visited Fish Creek falls and even had time to kick back and relax. We'll be back to work on many of the other things we didn't have time to do and we know the perfect place to stay!

Snowshoeing Rabbit Ears Pass' west summit was the highlight of our stay. Lyon Drug store has some fantastic chocolate soda. Steamboat Springs is a a splendid place to leave behind daily life no matter what the season. The condo was cozy - what a fireplace! Thank you.

Scott, great condo! This was my first trip to Steamboat and I loved it. The only thing close back east is Jay Peak. Of course, Steamboat is about 500% better! I will be back.

Yampa Getaway Great Vacation Stay

Great home away from home. Scott's condo is beautifully furnished, very comfortable and quiet. The location is perfect -- close to town and the mountain. The kitchen is well-equipped; the cabinets are stocked with spices, dishes, utensils, pots and pans--everything you need. We hiked in the Zirkel Wilderness area, fished at Stagecoach Reservoir and in town, rode horses, went mountain biking and shopped. The 4th of July celebrations were fabulous, especially the Art Walk, fireworks (awesome!) and parade. Enjoyed delicious dinners at the 8th Street Steakhouse & Truffle Pig. We would definitely stay at Scott's condo again.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

These accommodations were perfect. The Condo was beautiful with breathtaking views of the mountain. It is conveniently located to everything you need for a Steamboat getaway. Thank you Scott, we will be back next year and looking forward to it!!

What a joy for our first condo experience. We could not have asked for more. Huge side by side fridge, all the kitchen stuff you could need, 2 TVs, lovely dining area and living room, washer, dryer. Clean and great! The free Steamboat bus to downtown and the mountain means you can avoid the traffic. Grocery stores and restaurants are within easy walking distance.

Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

First of all I want you to know that you and your condo ROCK like “twiks and tube socks!!! I had a fabulous time and didn’t want to leave. I left Houston getting over the flu but when I arrived in Steamboat it took my breath away and when I got to the condo, the photos did not do it justice. The ride from Denver through Rabbit Ears Pass was breath taking. When I got to the condo, I was not feeling all that great so I put on my PJ’s, turned on the fireplace, opened all the blinds and curtians, order pizza and watched Law and Order. It snowed everyday and I was in Heaven. My friends asked me after the third day if I was going to come out. I did meet them for Happy Hour at the Tugboat Café and we had a blast. I also made a friend with Tim from Alpine Taxi since he was the one that most of the time picked me up. My friends and I fell in love with the snow and could have spent another week there but it was time to come home. Again, thank you so much for letting me stay at the condo. I had a most memorable time and wished I could have taken a snow covered tree with me. Take care, Karen Chadwick

A great time was had by all. Blue bird days, great snow and it was great spending time together. We made some meals in the condo kitchen and it was very well stocked. You've done an exceptional job with the decor and we felt comfortable and cozy. We'll be back!

What an amazing place you have. We were able to do it all (ski, snowmobile, the hotsprings and the condo hot tub) We also got some great powder days in too! We'll be back again. P.S. Antares restaurant was great - highly recommended.

Thank you for letting us enjoy your gorgeous condo and also accomodating our changing schedule. What a beautiful place! We are repeat visitors to Steamboat and your condo is the 9th place we have stayed at in 11 years. It seems each time we stay we have varying circumstances affecting our stay. But, we **loved** your condo for many reasons. Being on the first floor, the location, the current decor, the VIEW from the patio, the great shower and new pots and pans. Also, we got to see a bear!
