Thank you for your part in making our trip to London so magical. The flat is exactly as it is described and was perfect for the three of us. We spent more tIme in the flat than anticipated just because it was so comfortable to lounge and be lazy in the mornings and we really looked forward to gazing out over the evening landscape while sharing wine and cheese together when we returned from our daily adventure. It was extremely easy to get everywhere with the Northern line station so close to the flat. It was the perfect place to have a great visit with my daughter who is currently living in London.

Our family of 4 spent 6 glorious days in the flat and it was perfect! In the mornings, my husband and I would sip coffee at the kitchen table, enjoying beautiful views of the city, and plan our day (while our 2 teenage daughters snoozed away!) Armed with the city map, the Tube map and the bus map, we'd organize our schedule starting at the Archway station, which is a hub for buses and the Tube, and literally a 5 minute walk from the flat. PERFECT! By the 3rd day, we felt like old pros! The bus/tube system is so easy to follow. Some of the Tube lines were closed for improvements during our stay, but the bus system more than made up for it. The people at Archway were so helpful in directing us! Plus, you can see more of the city on the bus AND we got to hear lots of new languages!! The flat itself was so comfortable and the neighborhood is darling. We had delicious Persian food right across the street on our first night. We also hit a few of the local pubs and a cute coffee shop that had just opened up. There is a grocery store across the street which is ideal for little things you find you need, such as wine or English chocolate! We HIGHLY recommend the Burrough Market. A word of advice: GO HUNGRY. The market itself is stunning, but the food they are serving up there is incredible. Try the Lamb Bap and the Toasted Cheese sandwich!! We included it in our day with the Imperial War Museum, as they are pretty close to each other. Our trip to London was spectacular, because it's such a great city, but having the flat to come "home" to really made a difference. We were so comfortable and rested and ready to go!! We were delighted to know that the Tube goes all the way to Heathrow from Archway (with one change--no big deal). It only took us about an hour and a half to get there--a nice relaxing ride. We will certainly be back!

I read all the other wonderful reviews of this property, and they are all true. We had a fantastic time in London and a large part of that was that we were able to come home to this charming and comfortable flat. The windows offer an amazing view of the city (the Eye and St. Marks are plainly visible) and you feel very private because you are up so high. The stairs were the stairs, but I could feel myself getting in better shape over the course of the week. You just want to plan your outings so that you're not running back and forth all the time. We brought in food or cooked most nights and were in bed by 9, reading and looking out at London. The welcome basket was extremely useful. There was fruit and a loaf of bread, among other goodies. We went to the convenient Sainsbury's grocery and picked up some Nutella and butter and ate breakfast in every day. This saved us money and that feeling of waking up and wondering where we would go to eat. The fish & chips across the street had great, fresh fish and we didn't get to the Italian place because of the holiday. The kebab down the street place was not that good but we ordered a curry from a place in Highgate that delivered, and it was great. We also picked up lots of food at Marks & Spencer and made ourselves a Christmas feast, which was lots of fun. Overall, the flat was fully worth the price and provided a great sanctuary for us. If you want to live in a real London neighborhood and don't mind climbing some stairs to get a view, this place is wonderful!

Our family of four had a truly memorable experience in the beautiful "Mary Poppins" apartment where we stayed for 2 weeks last December. Despite pouring over the photos on the internet for many months leading up to our trip, finally seeing the views across London on our arrival, was truly stunning! The apartment was perfect for our needs and our children (12 and 15yrs) loved it too. The appearance and amenities of the apartment are at least as they appear in the photos (if not better). The owner, Lynn was incredibly helpful in answering questions and was highly professional in the process of helping us to secure the apartment for our holiday. Lynn gave us helpful directions on how to get to the apartment by tube, and we were met by Cathy, who settled us in wonderfully with a basket of goodies to get us started and some great tips on the location. The apartment location was superb and we were able to get all around London with ease. I would recommend a walk up to Highgate on a Sunday morning! The biggest problem we had with our visit, was not wanting it to end. I would highly recommend the apartment and we will definitely return as soon as we can.

My wife, my teenage son and I just returned from London and had a wonderful 4 days at "The Mary Poppins Penthouse". We experienced London the way Londoners do. The immaculately clean flat is located in an honest-to-goodness London working neighborhood. You are not going to bump into many tourists, but God knows, after spending a day in Central London the last thing you want to see at the end of the day is more of your fellow tourists! The flat has everything you will need...comfy beds, sofa, chairs, great shower with plenty of hot water, towels, etc. The fully equipped kitchen is sunny, small and functional including a washing machine, dish washer, and plenty of glassware and dishes. (the fridge is your standard small unit, found everywhere in the UK). The neighborhood is wonderful. We arrived late at night and hungry. We looked out the window and saw a small fish and chips restaurant. These nice people were getting ready to close but stayed open to make three more fish and chips dinners just for us. They were so pleasant. The bottom floor of the apartment building has a convenience store that is open until 2:30 AM! The friendly owner greets you at the door and will remember you each time you come back. The shop sells beer and wine in case you want to just kick back in the flat at the end of the day. Prices were very reasonable. Down the block is a supermarket for anything you might need. (closes at 11PM). There is a laundromat on the way to the Underground where you can drop off and pick up. The Tube is about a three block walk. There are fast food restaurants near it in case you can't get through the day without KFC. The neighborhood has restaurants of a variety of cuisines as well as a number of pubs to slake your terrible thirst. Lynn will cover every detail about the flat in an email to you before you arrive and there is a "bible" of information on the kitchen counter. Take notice when she says to pack small suitcases! I packed a large bag and felt like Sir Edmund Hillary by the time I reached the flat on the 6th floor! Lynn's friends Cathy and Paul greeted us to answer questions and hand over the keys. They were good sports to stay late due to our delayed flight. A snack of fruit, cheese, crackers and cookies will be waiting for you. We absolutely recommend staying here. Live like a Londoner for a week and have fun! Thanks again Lynn for a terrific holiday.

We had such a delightful stay in Lynn's charming London flat. It was our favourite place to stay on our trip to Britain, such a wonderful view!! (the climb up the stais is worth it!) great light, spacious layout and interesting details and only a five minute walk to the Archway tube station. My daughter kept saying to me that this was her idea of the perfect apartment. (And it did just look like the photos!) And it was so easy to book, a friendly, straightforward process (the easiest process of the three VRBO's we booked this trip, the other two were managed by professional letting companies) and the welcome goodies were another nice touch. A definite recommendation!

We stayed at this clean, comfortable flat for our entire two-week visit to London. The views towards the center of London are well worth the flights of stairs. The proximity to public transportation (less than a five-minute walk to the nearest Tube station), a grocery store, and some nice restaurants make it a convenient home base. Our e-mail communications with the owner, prior to our trip, were a valuable resource for making the most of our time there. We would definitely stay here again!

I stayed here for about a week while I was relocating to London. Location is excellent for food, transport and a gym. Views of the city are genuinely superb and pretty rare to have here. The welcome by the owner is brilliant and I can't emphasise enough how helpful she is both with general advice on the city and in terms of making the most of your stay. There are quite a lot of steps to climb to get to the apartment. And the first time you do it, you'll probably be a little shocked. But honestly it's nothing to worry about because you get used to it immediately. And when you see the view, you'll realise what the stairs were about :)

My husband, two teenage kids and I spent the last week in January in Lynn´s marvellous flat. It is exactly as it looks in the photos. It is very nicely decorated, very well appointed and very well maintained. The furniture and household appliances are all new and work wonderfully. It is very clean and the linen fresh. We spent a great time there and loved coming home late in the evening to relax in such a cozy and welcoming flat. We enjoyed having breakfast looking over the window. What a beautiful view!!!! Even though it was freezing outside, the flat was so warm we were in T-shirt inside!! Lynn is a wonderful host, she gives such good advice on absolutely everything, directions to the flat, what luggage to carry, how to pay via pay pal, etc. In the flat there are a lot of guides on day trips which proved us very helpful . We even got a welcome basket with chocolate, fruit, bread, cheese, milk and biscuits!! Walking past the hospital, there´s a beautiful park on the way to Highgate Village. I recommend having a stroll around it. Oh, Lynn we loved your flat and we´ll definitely go back in the future!!

Our Christmas in London was delightful! Despite the snow and the cold, we enjoyed venturing out every day, taking in as much as we could. The flat was a comfortable "home base" as it is convenient to the tube as well as buses. Grocery stores located nearby provided all we needed, and then some! The great description as well as helpful information from Lynn and Catherine let us to know what to expect. We would recommend this property to others! Cheers!

We loved the flat so much, we pretended it was ours and wished it truly was!! We wanted the authentic experience of living in London (even if for only a week) and it was perfect! We shopped at the grocery store across the street, dropped off dry cleaning and stopped in the corner internet cafe... just like home! The tube stop was extremely easy and the neighborhood was a great cultural mix. And the flat.... what can we say... it was EXACTLY like the photos. At night we melted into the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. A true sanctuary with a Mary Poppins view of London! Lynn was extremely helpful as was Catherine who met us at the apartment. Yes, it is six floors up by steps... but that only justified all the decadent food we allowed ourselves to eat on vacation!! Thanks so much Lynn, we will definitely stay at your home again! My wife and I called this lovely flat "home" for a full month in September-October of 2010. Unlike some of the places listed on VRBO, it was exactly as described -- well-equipped, well-located, and well-priced. The Tube is five minutes away, small grocery stores and market stalls line nearby Holloway Road and Junction Road, and excellent local ethnic restaurants (both eat-in and take-away) are abundant. For those who enjoy walking, beautiful Hampstead Heath is close by, as are several smaller parks filled with strolling parents, prams, and puppies. The neighbourhood itself is a wonderful cultural mix that makes for excellent people-watching, and we felt safe and welcome everywhere we went. Perhaps the flat's greatest asset is its owner. Not only does Lynn handle the business end of things professionally, she also is unfailingly generous in sharing her knowledge of London and insight into the ordinary needs and concerns of travellers. If we could have afforded to stay longer at the flat, we would have done so in an instant. We wouldn't hesitate to rent it again, and wholeheartedly recommend that you give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Lynn was a wonderful hostess giving us tips before our stay on places to shop. It turned out to be very good advice and we picked up cell phones and other necessities for travel without issue. The flat was fabulous. The stair climb with our bags nearly killed us all but what a reward at the top! The view kept us at the windows each evening just gazing out over the city. The space was roomy and comfortable for our family of four. It was about half an hour in to the city by metro (including wait and walk time) but we didn't even notice the ride. It was all part of the experience. The extras Lynn provided were also very welcome. We had food waiting in a basket. There was free Internet, extra soaps, books and sight seeing information. We loved it and will definitely recommend it to friends! If/when we return, we will be sure to use this lovely flat again. Thanks Lynn!
Owner response:Such a lovely comment! You and your family made it all so easy for us - from the moment we first communicated I loved your sense of adventure, and it was clear that the flat had already captured your imaginations. I am happy this continued once you arrived in the flat. It is a bit like being on top of the world (or at least on top of London), and you have articulated this beautifully! Thank you for being such great guests!

WE STAYED IN THIS DELIGHTFUL APARTMENT FOR TWO WEEKS IN 0CTOBER 2009. We enjoyed the spacious, light-filled ambience and the comfortable furnishings and bathroom - with lashings of hot water. Not always a factor in UK Rentals in my experience and I'm a Brit! Lynn's advice, directions and descriptions were all accurate and v. helpful. Catherine showed us all the mechanics v. efficiently and the taxi firm they recommend was excellent. Neighbourhood is a fun mix of practical and exotic (well-- a little bit exotic!) and nearby Waterlow Park a pleasant and safe grassy space for solo walks. Northern Line has improved a lot e.g. leave at 9.30 a.m Monday after rush hour and be outside Regent Street shops for opening at 10.00.a.m. Amazed! If new to London check you are on "the right bit" of the Northern - it divides and platforms are opposite each other. If you are sitting looking at three Edgeware trains coming in you should be on the High Barnet side!! Canadian husband figured that one out faster!! The flat stairs are accurately described by Lynn and they are manageable for two "oldies" like ourselves so quit whining at the back there all youf'! Carrying heavy "stuff" (or forgetting "Oyster" pass is to be avoided!). Lynn's advice about two smaller suitcases is well worth your consideration. Otherwise stairs keep you v. fit and you can eat lots from excellent Fish and Chip shop opposite; 500 Italian resto round corner(reservations essential)or Hache in Inverness Street if you go to Camden Town. We hope you all enjoy and we hope to come back! V & B. Huron County, Ontario.

“Up, Up and Away”. The “Mary Poppins Penthouse Flat” afforded us a lofty retreat, cozy and comfortable, with a bird’s eye view of the city of London but away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. The Victorian building is a beauty and we found the neighborhood convenient for our shopping and eating pleasure. The Tube just up the block was so convenient. The vendors on the corner so friendly and helpful and the people around the area so willing to answer our questions, all added up to a neighborly feeling. The compact and efficient fully equipped kitchen, the homey living room, comfortable bed, modern bathroom, were warm and inviting to return to and unwind. Even after trudging miles, going up and down steps many times a day to travel on the Tube, standing in long lines to see the sites, the climb to our home base was worth it. What’s with the “it always rains in London” bit? It didn’t rain in 12 days. The skies were blue and the temp perfect. Lynn was so accommodating and helpful and delightful to work with in setting up our stay in London that we feel sure she even managed to order the weather.

We made very good use of the tube and all of the very conveniently located shops and restaurants. We actually fooled ourselves into thinking that we were real Londoners as it is impossible to feel like a tourist when you have such a lovely, well-appointed home to call your own. A true gem!

Agree with everything the prior commenter says. We stayed in Lynn's flat for two weeks and it was a delightful experience in all respects. Living like real Londoners in a well-equipped flat in a vibrant, diverse neighborhood was much more rewarding than staying in a cramped, artificial hotel room. Convenient to the Tube, grocery shopping, excellent fish and chips and a friendly pub right across the street. Dealing with Lynn was straightforward and a pleasure from the beginning. The flat was a pleasant, relaxing, and comfortable refuge after long days of visiting the magnificent offerings of London. Definitely the way to go!

Wow, my 20 year old son Gabriel and I stayed at Lynn's amazing penthouse suite apartment "flat" in London, for a week at the end of March, 2009. Everything is true that she and the earlier visitors noted. Earlier in our trip to London (we are from near Los Angeles) we stayed at a nice downtown hotel. Her apartment is such a better experience, than even a central downtown hotel. The hotel was OK, but we felt like temporary tourists to the City. While- instead at Lynn's flat- we were part of the experience, interacting with a real neighborhood, shopping for food to cook, or "take away" to bring back to eat, while we enjoyed the skyline view of London, from the kitchen table. Everything (except the main food items that we bought at the stores right across the street) is provided, so we could cook a complicated meal, have really soft towels, lounge in the comfortable beds, consult some of the many London books and maps that are in the apartment, use the binoculars to spot famous spots in London, hook up my son's iPod to her stereo system, or just soak in the tub, after too much running around town. After doing just that- too much running around London, for the first few days, we actually paced ourselves, and looked for excuses to come back early to the flat, so we could comfortably hang- out, talk about the cool things that we did, and have a chance to plan out our next day. The time in the apartment became a key part of our trip- gazing out the windows, watching the weather change and being able to really relax, so we could get the most out of our next day (can't do all this in a hotel). It is really close to the underground stop, which got us anywhere in London within 15 minutes or less. Also, if you buy the London Oyster card, it limits your underground fees to like a maximum of 3 pounds per day- cheap! Lynn was so nice with the whole process. I had never done PayPal before- and it was easy. She had Catherine meet us when we first came to the flat- and she explained everything, and presented us with a nice gift basket of goodies for us to enjoy. As an architect- I really appreciate her flat, and especially the amazing views out the windows. My son and I already miss looking out at the lights. I'm sure that you will have a great time, as we did- really a special way to experience the real London, as a local!

This is the way to enjoy London! My husband and I stayed in this beautiful flat in early March 2009 for a week, and loved every minute. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the city, and it was great having the ability to make our breakfasts each morning (and dinner some nights as well!). The location is perfect - right on the Northern line, which always seems to have good service. We were able to go all over London easily from this location. Yes, the stairs can be a bit overwhelming at first, but after the first few trips up them, they DO get easier! I highly recommend this flat.

I had the pleasure of staying in Lynn's flat for two weeks in January 2009. Lynn was a pleasure to deal with right from the initial inquires, payments and return of the damage deposit. The flat was just as advertised everything you could need had been thought of. From the large closets, extra bedding, well equiped kitchen with welcome basket and IPod, laptop chargers. On arrival after a full day of sightseeing the stairs seemed very long but after that it was an easy hike. Three large grocery stores are within two blocks and the local farmers market on Saturdays is not to be missed. Wonderful meat, cheese, breads and vegtables. The tube is ungoing extensive refurbishment and many stations were closed each weekend but the Northern line continued unaffected. I had been concerned about the travel times but found it was 15 - 20 minutes to Charing Cross and the theater district and 20 minutes to Victoria Station. The London Walks offers a Highgate walk on Sunday that is excellent. An easy stroll up Archway Road to the station and then another easy stroll down Highgate High Street back to Archway.

We loved the flat and its location. We are both runners so having Hampstead Heath close by was a bonus. The amount of storage space for clothes and luggage was impressive. The tube stop, in Zone 2, kept the fares lower and the Northern line is very convenient to the other lines. We enjoyed the restful rooftop views from all rooms of the flat and even on cloudy days, the flat was bright. As it was Guy Fawkes' Day during our visit, we enjoyed nightly fireworks for a whole week! Also appreciated wifi access. As we travel with a laptop, internet access is now a necessity as we were able to do on line bookings for events and save money! Both Lynn (owner) and Catherine (on-site contact) were extremely helpful and payment by PayPal was very convenient and safe. The flat is very quiet and for the entire time we were there, we did not hear a peep from the neighbours. We will definitely return! Leslie and David Warnock, Victoria, BC Nov 2 - 13, 2008

I recently enjoyed a wonderful week in this spacious, light-filled flat. I loved the big soaker bathtub and slept like a baby in the enormous king-sized bed. The views were spectacular! The flat was well stocked with just about everything a visitor might need, such as a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, umbrellas, maps and guidebooks, free wifi, alarm clock, and lots of kitchen utensils. I especially appreciated the welcome basket of bread, cheese, biscuits, chocolate, milk, juice- it was so nice to have some tea and a bite to eat without having to run out to the shops right away. The neighbourhood is bustling and diverse with plenty of restaurants and take-aways. A Sainsbury's Local is located just a few steps down the road from the flat, and Archway tube station is only a minute away. There's even a piece done by the famous graffiti artist Banksy on Highgate Hill, just across from the tube station. Many thanks to both Lynn and Cathy for making the flat such a welcoming and comfortable place to stay. I hope to return someday soon!

our brief, first stay in london was greatly enhanced by having this flat as our "home" ~ full of light, good use of space, well-equipped, and aesthetically satisfying. my two daughters (25 and 17) and i felt very comfortable moving about the neighborhood, and choosing a flat over a hotel helped us feel a bit like londoners that week. although we met friends all over the city, we could have comfortably entertained here. it was an easy distance by tube from all our gathering and sight-seeing destinations, and a cozy place to return to after days and evenings out. it will be our first choice when we revisit london!

The four of us (2 adults & 2 daughters 22yrs & 17yrs) made this beautiful flat our home for two weeks while in London. It is very comfortable and well apponted. The view is amazing and we often sat there for long periods looking over the skyline. It has excellent access to the tube. It is situated in an interesting neighbourhood that is full of life and has all the amenities you could need. The St John's pub nearby is a great place for a meal and/or a pint. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and was always helpful and prompt in replying to any inquiries. This flat was a great addition to our London holiday. Jim & Cheryl Edmonton, AB, Canada

Restaurants/market available within one minute walk and the tube is also literally a one minute walk away and less than a ten minute ride into the heart of London. Bus service is also right up the street. I would definitely recommend this flat to friends and family, the price is great. You really feel like a local and not a tourist! My husband myself our teenage daughter and her friend spent a very pleasant week at the apartment. It was a clean, light, spacious and warm apartment, nicely furnished and well equipped with great views over London. The stairs were a bit daunting but kept us fit.

This little flat was our home for a total of three weeks during July and August. We were so warm and comfy during our stay and it was a relief to return each evening - especially after the climb up those stairs! We did get used to them though - there are stairs everywhere in the UK!! So thank you to Lynn and Naomi for such a nice homely place and all your help with all things to do with "London!"

We just spent two weeks in the flat. It was everything the others have already spoken of. If you are considering staying at this flat, you will not be disappointed. (Except maybe by the stairs, but it's worth the work for the view.) We are looking forward to staying here again on our next visit to London.

We had a great week in this apartment. Lynn was so nice to work with, and totally professional. This was our 6th rental of the summer, and having a warm welcome, a bottle of wine and a goody basket, was such a nice and unusual touch. The apartment was very comfortable, and the shower hot and strong, which we have found is not so common. (Plus lots of towels, also not so common.) Even my 4-year-old got used to the stairs in a day--once you get your luggage up (and, of course, back down), the climb is not bad. And the view is amazing! We hope to be back. . .

We had a fantastic week in this great flat. The views are spectacular from up there - very soothing to sit by the window and look out while enjoying some of that delicious Indian take-out from down the street. As previous posters have said, it is a great place. Two minutes from the Tube, plenty of amenities in the neighborhood. This was a nice place where the four of us could crash comfortably after a long day of taking in wonderful London. I'm sure we saved quite a bit of money just by being able to cook our breakfasts and a few of our dinners. This was particularly important given the current state of the US dollar against the British pound! We DID get our exercise in that week, though, getting to the top of the stairs, so people that have difficulty climbing stairs need to be careful, here. However, if you're in good shape, you are rewarded with the aforementioned, unfettered views. Highly recommended!

Our family of four has just spent a wondeful week holidaying in London. Central to the enjoyment of our trip was the fact that we were staying in Lynn's lovely little flat in Archway. As other guests have already attested, the bed and sofa are really comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom has plenty of hot water and the views are fantastic. Add to that the flat's proximity to the tube and other amenities and the more than reasonable price and you simply can't go wrong. Lynn and Naomi bring a friendly and professional approach to their enterprise; they were a pleasure to deal with. We thank them for their hospitality and look forward to staying again in the future.

This flat is amazing! My wife and I just stayed there for a week, and we're already missing it as we stay in hotels on the rest of our trip. On a clear day you can see from St. Paul's all the way across the London skyline to the west, and coming home to a view like that is the perfect way to end a day sightseeing in London. The shower has plenty of hot water AND good water pressure, the bathtub is nice and deep, and the kitchen fixtures are all in great shape and really easy to use. It's a two minute walk from the tube, there's some great Indian food in the neighborhood, and there's good pubs as well (which will be better after the 1 July smoking ban comes in!!!). If you're looking for a "home away from home", you couldn't ask for much better (and for much better rates than most hotels) than this place!

We have just spent a delightful week in London, thanks to a brilliant public transport system, excellent weather and two amazing women named Lynn and Naomi. The latter two women provided us with a spectacular flat, with excellent value for money, within an easy tube ride of Central London and surrounds. The view from the flat is amazing, and the fully equipped kitchen was most welcome. Sainsbury's market is just across the road, and the cooing pigeons are a rather pleasant way to start the day. A bit of a caveat...DO NOT take large, heavy suitcases, as the Everest-like climb to the flat will be you undoing..HOWEVER, very much like Everest...Once you do make it to the summit, you are rewarded with a spectacular view and the sense that you are in a very private space. A very lovely place run by very wonderful people. Many thanks Lynn...and double that to Naomi whose trouble-shooting skills are second to none. Hopefully, we'll make Archway our residence of choice on future trips. Cheers! Rob & Simon

This flat is beautiful and the view is spectacular. The neighborhood is charming and convenient, and we had a wonderful time. Lynn goes above and beyond the call of duty. She provided us with information about the area and helped to make our entire trip worry free. She and Naomi were fantastic hostesses, and I hope to get the chance to stay in their home again soon.

My fiance and I just had the most romantic vacation in this flat! It's beautiful, warm and cozy. The bed was extremely comfortable! In fact, it was nicer than the 4 star hotel we stayed at in Paris! The views were spectacular and the location of the flat was extrememly convenient. -Just a couple of blocks to the Tube on a major line that gets you everywhere you need to get to fast! We absolutely loved the entire experience. It felt like we were actually living in London. The neighborhood was great and some of the locals got to know us. There are a lot of nice little restaurants in the area as well! Thanks so much to Lynn and Naomi for making this entire experience so easy and worry free. We would definitley reccommend this to others and plan to return in the future!

My husband and I just got home from our first trip to Europe together! We had a fantastic time in London, much to this wonderful flat! The location was amazing and just a block from a main metro line (exactly what we wanted). I was a bit nervous to book online so far away from home and not knowing exactly what we were going to get. However, Lynn and Naomi surpassed my expectations! They were very professional, timely, courteous, and very helpful! I can't say how great the flat was! Every little detail from the welcome treats (these are so great after many hours of traveling) to the cleanliness, the large amount of space to the AMAZING views! We enjoyed breakfast each morning looking out onto London! We were so touched by the charm of the condo, we went and saw the production of Mary Poppins our last evening..it was delightful! Fell free to contact me with any questions before you book! Thanks so much Naomi and Lynn!

Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. It was very kind and thoughtful of you to fill the fruit basket and stock the fridge. The location was absolutely perfect. It was great coming back to a "home" in the evenings. We had a wonderful stay and it was an absolute pleasure dealing with you.

Lynn’s lovely flat is certainly one of the reasons my family of four had our best and most enjoyable trip ever! We spent two weeks in London over Christmas and felt like we were leaving home when our time was up. The flat is as bright, comfortable, and welcoming as advertised, and the view from practically the top of London is awesome. There’s enough space for everyone to spread out and even enjoy the kind of privacy you take for granted at home. The neighborhood has everything you could want: wonderful restaurants, grocers, pubs, pharmacy, bakeries, internet cafe, cash machines, tube station, bus stops . . . . Staying at Lynn’s flat made us feel like we were actually living in London, not just sightseeing – that’s a perspective we’re so glad for the kids to have had. The very best part of renting the flat was “dealing with” (read, “getting to know and appreciate”) Lynn. We’re very grateful to her for sharing her home with us. If you’re serious about staying at Lynn’s, please email me so I can share some of my travel tips!

We were lucky enough to spend some time in this great apartment in October 2006. The views, comfortable furnishings, thoughtful appointments and welcome food basket made it a very special and memorable stay for us (four adults). The location near the tube and close proximity to shops make it a great base to explore London. Thanks Lynn and Naomi!

The apartment was fabulous in every sense of the word-bright, meticulously clean, all of the modern working amenities and truly made our two week trip to London an absolute pleasure! I have and continue to recommend it to friends who plan on travelling there! Owner Lynn is a delight and she and her daughter made the process seamless. Bonuses include the close proximity of the Archway tube station, bus stops and there are a number of great restaurants nearby. I highly suggest dining at St. John's (a mere 5 minute walk which was ranked in London's Time Out at the time of our visit as a must go.) The Indian restaurant a few doors down was stellar! Lynn is to be heartily commended for offering up top notch accommodation and operating it in a highly professional yet at all times winsome, warm and attentive manner. We will indeed be back!!! An 11 out of 10 for us!

Having spent may years coming to England it is finally nice to say I have found my second "home" .This was my first time in the flat but was beyond anything I could have expected. It is in a perfect location to catch the tube. Very clean, which is nice after a long day of sightseeing. To walk barefoot....I couldn't have hoped for anything more. And by far the most reasonable accomodations in London!! I loved the whole experience and plan on staying here every time I am in London. Lynn and Naomi are the best. I can't wait to go back. Thank you for everything.

We just wanted to thank you for the wonderful stay we had in the London apartment. It was perfect for us and the views were spectacular. A friend of ours who is living in London came to visit us and he told us we were staying in a "palace"! The location is so central and we were able to easily use both the tube and the buses to get where we wanted. Naomi very kindly supplied us with some treats when we arrived, for which we were most grateful. Thanks again for sharing your great apartment with us.

Wow! This place was way beyond our expectations. Lynn has decorated the place really well. All appliances are of A1 quality and in perfect working condition. Also, Lynn should get an award for "Truth in Advertising" if there is one!!! This website describes everything about the place in great detail and with perfection. Finally, Lynn was very understanding and accommodated our countless requests due to some last minute changes to our travel plans (all of this was Sachin's fault). We have now resolved that when we are in London at anytime in the future, our first choice of residence would be Lynn's apartment.
