Great area and accomodations for family vacation

My family of five, three of whom are teens, had a wonderful time this past week staying in this condo. There was always something to do..if Mom and Dad needed a rest, the kids could play tennis, basketball, or swim without us worrying. The condo is just as pictured and was extremely clean. We have stayed many different places over the years, and Mark and Ana's condo was definitely the cleanest, best equipped, and most convenient to many amenities. If you have any questions or concerns, they are great at getting back to you promptly, as well. Some of our best moments were seeing many differents kinds of wildlife. Some we've seen before, and others we have not. We had the pleasure of seeing tortoises trolling down the beach, porpoises, manatees, sea stars, many different shore birds, and crabs galore (including one vicious looking blue crab on the condo grounds) . Finally, we really appreciated their advice on where to dine and what to see. The shops and restaurants on Flagler Avenue are a must. I'm sure we will be returning at some point in time, and I think we'll start with surfing lessons for all. Thanks again for the wonderful vacation!

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Beautiful Condo

I wrote a review concerning this condo before we had left. The condo is beautiful and the facilities are wonderful. After I got home, the owners contacted me and had taken about a third of our deposit for cleaning of a diningroom chair that had a small spot, cleaning of a couch cushion and replacing a light cover in the freezer that had come in contact with the light bulb and melted. I'm not sure why the cover melted. This has never happened to me before. Perhaps the bulb wattage was too high. When we first arrived at the condo the owner called to see if everything was alright. I said it was beautiful, perfect. They later used those words against me by reminding me that I had said the condo was perfect. Like I said, the condo is beautiful but they think very highly of it. Be careful, especially if you have young children. I would not stay here again. I felt taken advantage of. This may be a nice condo for a couple with no children.

Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

This condo was a wonderful place to stay. The owners provided everything that was needed for a comfortable beach vacation. Beach chairs, towels, coolers, ice packs, tennis rackets, etc. The owners even called after we had arrived to make sure everything was OK. The condo was cleaned very well. Beds are very comfortable even the sleeper sofa. The condo had first rate items. Everything was wonderful. New Smyrna is a great little beach away from the typical tourist beaches but just 30 minutes to Daytona. I would definitely stay here again.

Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Best Condo in New Smyrna Beach, Ocean Walk!

I am highly recommending this unit. This listing described the unit in every way you could imaged. We have been coming to New Smyrna Beach for many years. We stayed at other units in the ocean view and ocean front,but eventhough this is ocean walk condo, this is by far the best unit that we stayed at. About 5 minutes from beach. We stayed for 1 week and enjoyed every second. We found convenience and comfort for an affortable price. I enjoyed the master bedroom with the beautiful views. The hot tub -- too die for! My daughter couldn't get enough of the pool. This unit was the perfect unit accross from the club house which included tennis court, basketball court and shuffle board. We absolutley enjoyed all of these. The owners are very personable and answered all questions to my satisfaction. They were always responsed quickly before my stay and during my stay. This is the perfect condo for everyone, by perfect for a family with teenagers (like mine), lots of things to do. Everything was Great! I do thanks the owners for sharing their home with us. If we come back, we will definately stay at this unit.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Hi Mark and Ana Don and I wanted to let you know we had a great time at your condo. It is beautifully decorated and it had everything we needed for our week of fun and relaxation (well, maybe not so relaxing with a busy 12 yr old). Mark & Ana - Our month in New Smyrna Beach at your beautiful condo was awesome. We so enjoyed your beautifully decorated condo that provided a warmth and 'feeling of home' - thank you so much. Your suggestions regarding restaurants was very helpful. Also, Oceanwalk is a wonderful property that offers relaxing times by the pool as well as a short walk to the beach. Finding the right place to rent when you go on vacation is hit or miss and my family and I loved it as soon as we walked in. Mark, I just wanted to thank you for allowing us to stay in your condominium. It was beautiful and most comfortable ~ truly one of the nicest condominiums we have ever rented! We recently visited your condo at Oceanwalk in New Smyrna Beach, Fl. for a girls only vacation. Our stay was wonderful. The condo has everything you could ask for in addition to being gorgeous. The beach is within walking distance and beautiful. I never stayed on the East Coast of Florida before and I found some really nice shells when I went Shell Shopping on the beach. The restaurants were very good, (I would recommend The Garlic and Chase's on the Beach)and we enjoyed snacks in the pool area. The pool was wonderful. The water sparkled like diamonds. We loved your unit!! beautifully furnished with every amenity at our fingertips. The Samsung 32" LCD TV was awesome as my husband loves to watch sports and I love to watch movies. We did both. Oceanwalk is one of the nicest condominium beach communities I have ever been to (meticulously landscaped, beautiful pool and recreation area and the beaches in New Smyrna are as nice as any I have been to in Florida. Without of doubt we both felt your unit offered us the most value for our dollar and we look forward to coming back. Thanks
