One Bedroom ( 1BR ), One Bathroom ( 1BA )Seasonal Cottage. Sleeps Four - New Queen Bed, One Queen Sleeper, Separate Stairway leads to Private Swimming area, Dock and Rowboat.

This remodeled and charming seasonal cottage is located within the southwestern portion of the Adirondack State Park, eight miles from Route 12 (one hour north of Utica, or 1 hour south of Watertown, New York).

The cottage is nestled among tall pines and hardwoods overlooking beautiful Brantingham Lake. The great room is open but still cozy with plenty of seating by the woodburning stove. We also supply two space heaters. The conversation area includes a queen sleeper-sofa (Sealy Posturepedic mattress) and the dining area has a table for four. The remodeled kitchen includes gas stove, microwave, coffeemaker, and large refrigerator as well as cooking and eating utensils. The bedroom has a new queen bed.

A separate stairway leads you down to your private dock and sandy-bottomed swimming area. A rowboat and life vests are provided. Brantingham Lake is underground-spring fed - it's water is renown for its high quality. The Brantingham community organization monitors and maintains these high standards of excellence.

Open winding country roads are perfect for cycling through the river valley's panoramic views. There are many local, well-maintained hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and ATV trails. The topographic maps and trail maps are displayed. Reference materials for day hikes, canoeing excursions, and other outings are also provided. Bring your fishing gear! There is great fishing in Brantingham Lake and local streams; both indigenous and stocked varieties. Smallmouth, largemouth, and rock bass, lake trout, brown trout, bullhead, pickerel, walleye, and yellow perch thrive in these waters. (The fishman's favorite spot is just in front of our lake shore. We supply a lake-bottom contour map.) A row boat is provided. Brantingham's 18 hole public golf course is conveniently located minutes away. Enchanted Forest Water Safari, New York's largest water park, is 1 hour away.

Local Restaurants offer great food and nightlife. Nearby Old Fashioned Drive-In Theater shows double features on peak season weekends.
