Visit our beautiful Sanibel Island condo and you will return. Loggerhead is a deluxe complex on the Gulf of Mexico. Our unit is recently remodeled, and completely equipped. Everything you have at home for your comfort. Second bedroom features twin beds which can be converted to king sized bed if you request prior to your arrival. Discount for previous guests. We will be glad to supply references.
When you rent from us there are no additional linen charges or booking/service fees. We are on the second floor and have a private parking space for you close to the stairway and elevator.
So much to do - sunbathe, swim, explore Ding Darling, walk on the beach at sunset, bike, rollerblade, tennis, or just plain relax on the glassed-in/screened lanai and enjoy your coffee or drink.

We have stayed on Sanibel numberous times and at Loggerhead Cay the lalst three times. This is one of the best condo's we've been to. The condo was as described - "immaculate" and was extremely well equipped and well decorated. This is where we will stay from now on. Loggerhead is a family friendly complex, close to the causeway and the owners and property managers are extremely helpful. We felt comfortable knowing the owners are local in case of any problems - which there none of.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.
If you are going to visit Sanibel Island (and everyone should at least once!), this is the place to go. My husband and I went down for a vacation getaway and will be returning next year. The Island is beautiful and the condo is absolutely gorgeous. The owners have recently renovated, it looks like a model condo! Also, the owners have thought of every detail providing you with everything you need (towels, chairs, etc). It’s a truly carefree vacation spot, you can get by with the basics.While you are there be sure to visit the Ding Darling refuge, if you enjoy wildlife. Of course, there are plenty of restaurants that will please every palate and the beautiful beach. It’s truly a moment spent in paradise. Oh, I wish I was there now....

About the owner: We rented a condo in Sanibel in 1976. We had just moved from New York to Chicago and didn't want to spend Christmas in the snow. At the last minute we found a small condo available in Sanibel - looked up where Sanibel was and thought this might be nice. After staying for two weeks we decided this was the perfect vacation getaway for our family and purchased a new unit at Loggerhead Cay. Have loved it ever since

We have traveled many places here in the United States and abroad and fell in love with Sanibel. Sanibel is a truly unique ecological paradise. No high rises, no busy touristy atmosphere, a strong feeling of safety and an island paradise.

Our three children think of Sanibel as their roots. They were 9 and 11 when they first visited and our daughters first trip here was when she was 2 months old. They have made life long friends over the years with other children whose families who came down the same times as we did. They now see their old friends and their old friends children.
