Location: Bandon, Southern Coast, Oregon, USA (Langlois, Oregon, located 15 miles south of Bandon, Oregon)

Our smoke-free home is located on the east side of Floras Lake in Langlois, 15 miles south of Bandon. Floras Lake is situated just over the dune from the ocean, allowing access to the beach either walking or taking the kayaks or boat across the lake.

The living room has a substantial rock gas-fueled fireplace to warm your evenings as you enjoy a spectacular view of the lake from our large windows. It is tastefully furnished with leather sofas and my mother’s antiques.

We have outdoor seating on a wrap-around deck where barbecues can be enjoyed during the summer. Built on three levels, there is a good division of space to allow for maximum privacy for larger groups.

A family room on the lower level has a second TV and VCR. In addition we have a pool table in a game room separate from the main house.

There is one king bed in the master bedroom, four queens, two in each of the second and third bedrooms, one queen futon couch in the family room, one single roll-away, and one crib.

This lakefront beauty is situated in a protected area of the lake where the winds are light. It is an ideal location for fishing. The lake has both stocked and native trout. We are located just a few miles from the Sixes River, famous for steelhead and salmon runs. We have our own private boat dock.

For a nominal rental fee you can rent a small row boat and two kayaks. In addition, there is a windsurfing school on the lake with lessons and equipment rentals available.

We are a 20 minute drive Bandon where you will find quaint shops, fine dining, and the world class Bandon Dunes Golf Resort.

  • This was a magical vacation for our whole family. The home was so comfortable and thoughtfully appointed with everything we could imagine for a wonderful time. The bedrooms are on different levels, giving everyone a bi of privacy. The natural beauty of the area is stunning and there were activites to delight everyone from age 3 to age 63! We rented the kayaks and the boat and enjoyed Lake Floras. Rock hounding on the beach and hiking were great and don't miss he fresh crab and oysters available in the area. We can't wait to go back to this wonderful home.

  • We try and visit the lake house at least 3 times a year. The moment I enter the house I become relaxed and at peace. On our last visit, my husband and I took the two person kayak out and explored the lake with all its twists and turns. It was such a wonderful experience that we have already made plans to return.
