If views of a sunrise or sunset from your patio are important to you, this isn't the condo for you as the unit faces north and large tree shades the deck. But if you don't mind your morning coffee in the shade of a gorgeous pine, the unit is absolutely perfect. It is very nicely furnished and very well stocked - the only thing we looked for but couldn't find was a pair of scissors! The owners, who are residents of Sun City Grand, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. From leading us to a nearby restaurant that was still open the night we arrived to lending us their own personal bicycles, they couldn't have been more accommodating. Sun City Grand itself is a beautiful senior community with every activity imaginable available and then some! And since Sun City Grand is located on the northern side of the greater Phoenix area, the condo is the perfect starting point for day trips to points north, including the Red Rocks and Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Prescott, Wickenburg, Jerome, etc. Expressway access to the 303 is just a few blocks from Sun City Grand's entry gate and provides easy passage around the city as well as access into the center city for everything downtown Phoenix has to offer. Within walking distance or a short drive from the condo there is every commercial establishment you could possibly want or need during your stay - from Trader Joe's to Wal-mart, from Denny's to great restaurants. We would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend this property without any reservations!

WONDERFUL weather during my stay in April and thus far in May! Great time to visit and enjoy all La Solana has to offer which is much. I loved the pool and hot tub, went to the complimentary movies (free popcorn!), had my hair cut at the salon, attended the social gatherings and morning coffee at the lovely clubhouse, and very much enjoyed meeting all the friendly people visiting from all over North America. The condo itself is quiet and very nicely appointed with accommodating owners. Very convenient walk to any store or service I needed. From the balcony, I enjoyed watching the birds in the trees and hearing their songs, especially the doves' cooing! Thanks Jim, I really appreciated that I could bring my pet. He enjoyed the birds and the view as much as I.

This Condo is now avaiable for the last week in March 2010. It just became available so be the first one to act. This is prime time in Arizona and Spring Training is in full action. The week is available for $600.00 which is a great deal. This is less than a hotel with added features such as a washer and dryer, full kitchen, dish washer, private bedroom, and privacy.
