The Camelot by the Sea is a beautifully maintained resort in the heart of Myrtle Beach. Our Condo is on the 6th floor, an ideal level for an 18 story building. It's not too low that you can hear the street noises but not too high, especially for people not liking heights. It has direct access to attached garage, which makes loading and unloading so easy. There are two queen beds in the bedroom and a BRAND NEW queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The living room has an amazing oceanfront view of the Atlantic ocean.
This is an 18-story full service resort with attached 10-story parking garage. Amenities include: 90 foot indoor heated pool, 200 foot heated lazy river, 60 foot outdoor pool. Two spacious hot tubs/spas. Terrific kiddie pools including a 'Bubbler' and mushroom waterfall. Oversized sand box on the pool deck. Guest laundry on-site. Fitness center, game room, on-site convenience store, grocery stores two blocks away, restaurant next door. Smoking is not permitted throughout the resort.
And location, location, location - Two blocks from the Myrtle Beach Convention Center and less than a mile from Broadway by the Beach which houses Ripley?s Aquarium, The Hard Rock Caf? and hundreds of shops, cafes, and attractions, less than five minutes to the Pavilion, many golf courses nearby.
Also we have a STUDIO AT THE BAY WATCH RESORT IN NORTH MYRTLE BEACH!!! Please email or call for more information. It's a studio with two double beds, microwave, coffee maker, small fridge with good ocean views. The rate is $300 to $850 per week (seasonal). I rented this condo for my daughter and her friends, all in college and looking to get away in Myrtle beach for a few days. The owner was friendly & wonderful to work with and she answered all our emails & questions promptly. Everything was in order & clean upon arrival as promised & the 6th floor condo supplied everything that was needed--2 comfortable queen beds, kitchen, spacious living area with sleeper sofa, chairs & tv & best feature: nice balcony overlooking the beach & ocean. The indoor pool/lazy river was great but being mid-March, the outdoor pool and hottub were not yet open. Beach was very pretty, the area not too loud. Dolphins were watched from the balcony! Location was excellent and easy walking distance to attractions/boardwalk/Pier, grocery store,Starbucks across the street and to some of the best food, without being too close to all the tourist activity. Just a short ride from the airport & just a quick taxi ride to shopping & food at Broadway at the Beach. Would recommend "Little River Fishing Fleet" for deep sea fishing for a 1/2 day charter. Would definately recommend this property and would rent again in a heartbeat!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Location was great was able to walk to boardwalk, mini golf, restaurants hardly drove anywhere. Plenty of room and great views. Had everything we needed to cook in when we didn't want to go out. Parking right outside room was a plus so convenient. Pool area was warm and had plenty of seating for everyone who wanted it. Exactly as described. Owner was great to work with. Had a great time.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This was our second stay at Lucy's condo. Once again I will say we enjoyed every minute. We love walking to eat dinner out. We don't use the pools much but they are very nice. The parking here is fantastic! It makes it so easy to pack and unpack our car. We will be back next summer--thanks again Lucy !Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Our 3 night stay at Lucy's condo was perfect! The pictures were very accurate in representing the accomodations. The owner and cleaning person were genuinely concerned that everything was to our satisfaction. We were attending a cheer competition at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center and found the location of the condo to be very convenient not only to the Convention Center, but to restaurants, etc. The oceanfront loacation could not be beat. We look forward to our return the same time next year and will stay here again!!! Thanks for a great escape!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

What started off as a week of nothing but baseball games turned into an awesome family vacation. The team didn't do superbly in the tournament, but knowing we could return to a wonderful condo right on the beach helped alleviate some of the "pain". I think my favorite part was sitting on the balcony drinking my coffee in the morning just listening to the ocean....I have tried to remember that single feeling since returning home. Thank you to Lucy for sharing her property and allowing us to have a memorable family time in Myrtle! I will definitely return to this location again! It was well kept and has the best location ever!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We loved this condo. the parking was great, every day and evening we had parking right outside our room. The first night I was a little surprised by hearing the cars in the parking lot, but by the second night I was fine. The owner had a few beach chairs, a small umbrella and a few boogie boards. Very nice. It was a very clean , comfortable condo and we are planning on coming back soon. We were able to walk to River City Cafe, Bummz next door, LuLu's cafe and Dirty Don's. You don't have to drive to eat! Thanks, Lucy! If you will have us back next summer...here we come, Susan, Paul and Laura from Norfolk Va!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed here for a week with our 2 children and it was great. We were able to park just outside of the condo on the 6th level of the garage (while we saw other hotels had to cross the street for their parking) and we were just outside the elevators. The owner responded quickly to us by email for any questions. The unit was clean and was exactly as described. We were disappointed there was no dishwasher but paper plates worked out fine so we wouldn't have to keep handwashing. The pools were fun and the walk to the beach was easy. We were able to walk to many places like the Skywheel, the boardwalk, Michael's pizza (great place!), ice cream (Fat Matt's also great) and to the Convention Center where we attended dance competition. I would recommend bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper as the cars can be heard in the parking garage which is just outside the bedroom, but mostly the hotel was quiet. We would certainly recommend this property to friends & family. One downside we discovered is that the Camelot by the Sea offers free tickets to a nearby waterpark (about 20 minutes away) to guests, but we were told that since we did not book through them we could not receive the free tickets. This is not the fault of the owner and we were able to work around it with other friends staying there. Internet was slow but it was wifi and there is a computer in the lobby available to print anything needed as well. Thanks for the opportunity. Myrtle Beach was awesome!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was a great place to stay for a week. The elevators are literally right around the corner and there is parking on the same level right next to the room. It is well maintained and very clean and the owners are quick to respond to emails. We had 2 adults and 2 children so it was nice to have the separate bedroom for naps and earlier bedtimes. There is a Starbucks and pizza and ice cream right across the street and we walked to one of the mini golf courses and the boardwalk. It was nice to not have to drive everywhere, we were so close. The lazy river was a blast and we were out on the beach everyday! Overall a great vacation, none of us were ready to leave.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thanks Jen! Glad your family had a great time. Hope to see you again soon! Lucy

We stayed in this unit, week 04/06/10 thru 04/11/10 and had a great time! The unit is located on the sixth floor which is great! The view is perfect because it isn't up too high and not too low, it's just right. Also it is located just around the corner from the elevator, literally!! It was so easy to go out to the elevator (and the elevators are fast operating also) and go straight down to the pools!! This was great for us with children and it made coming and going easier for us. Parking is really good and also the parking garage is gated so that allows only guests to park in there. We were able to park right near our unit with no problem. The unit has a nice full sized stove and fridge. Also, there were beach toys in the closet which included a boogie board, sand toys and beach chairs. The unit has dishes, pots and pans and silverware & a nice microwave mounted under the cabinets. The shower in the bathroom is AWESOME!! Best showerhead EVER!! Our first day there the TV wasn't working in the living room and we read in the guest book that it had went out on the last guest who checked out the day before our arrival, but the owner didn't know about it. We notified the local contact who then called the unit owner. The unit owner replaced the television that VERY DAY with a nice new LDC flat screen! WOW, what attention to guests! We were so impressed that the owner took care of that so fast! I told her that it wasn't an emergency by any means, but she insisted because she said she knew the kids would be wanting to watch tv when they came in from the pools and at night. She is so nice. This owner knows how to take care of her guests! The indoor pool and lazy river are heated and all the indoor and outdoor pools are close together so it is easier to keep up with the kids. The beach is clean and beautiful and just a few steps down from the pool area. Also Pier 14 is walking distance (about a half mile) down the beach where you can fish and dine. A really good restaurant is next door to the hotel, music and food, and also an ice cream shop across the road, yummy...There is a gift shop/general store in the hotel and a big gift shop across the road from the hotel. We met the unit's housekeeper (we were last minute trying to get everything packed and loaded) She was so personable and friendly and waited patiently for us to get everything loaded up and out. Very nice to meet her. We loved our vacation there!!!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
