December 2007 - we now collect new, part-used and worn running shoes and trainers, and shorts and t-shirts in good condition. We take them to One World Running in Boulder who send the new or part-used items to needy families in Central America and sub-Saharan Africa. Used shoes are recycled and generate money that One World Running use to send new clothes and shoes to needy families. Don't leave your old running and sports gear at home - bring it with you and give back to the World!

Four generations in one home and plenty of room. We enjoyed staying in this spacious home- with 2 full decks and plenty of room for everyone to sit and eat at once. We all agreed that having 2 full kitchens was the best ever- and all six bedrooms offered a variety of sleeping options. Terry was great! He made sure we had everything we needed. The photos did not really do justice to how wonderful this home really is. The location was nice- just minutes east of Estes Park. Our whole family has recommeded this home to all our friends and we hope to stay there again!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.
Owner response: We so appreciated having your group stay in our lodge. You were very easy to deal with along the entire process and we were sorry to see you leave. We hope we can be blessed with your custom again in the future. Thank you and take care back down in the valley.

Terry & Jackie, Of all the places that George and I have been this is our very favorite place. It is truly a home away from home and fulfilled all of our expectations. All of our family had such a wonderful time, especially the younger ones. The setting was truly magnificent and the snow added that much more. Thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness. Our best to you both and thank you again for making our 2011 Christmas so special! George and Miekka and the rest of the family. George and Miekka and all our family.Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.
Owner response: George and Miekka - thank you so much for the warmth and friendship that you brought into our lodge. You were fantastic guests to have stay and we would welcome you back at any time in the future! Our blessings for a very happy 2012 for you and your family. Terry & Jacqui

Terry & Jacqui - you both welcomed us into your home so graciously. This was certainly THE perfect place for our reunion! We felt so very comfortable here, even though, as you remember, I was somewhat concerned about walking through your living area to our bedroom. Terry - you predicted I would be comfortable by the end of the week. Well it only took...less than 24 hours!! Thank you so much for all your help. I truly believe that God led Katie to find you two for all of us!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2006
About the owner: We are an English couple that relocated to Estes Park, Colorado in 2006 to pursue our dreams. We had driven through Colorado in 1998 and fallen in love with the mountains, forests, and wild places. We are both passionate about being active outdoors - it is so easy to be active outdoors in Colorado! Terry manages the vacation rental property, greets guests, and helps guests to have a memorable stay! Terry's wife Jacqui, is a massage therapist and manages her own business in Estes Park.
Why the Owner Chose Estes Park:
We were looking for somewhere that was in a quiet, secluded location, yet also close enough to Estes Park, Boulder and DIA, that shops, restaurants and support services are also close at hand. Downtown Estes is just 10 minutes door to door, while RMNP is 15 minutes away, and DIA is only 75 minutes. We are in an ideal location so that guests feel that they are up in the mountains, with amazing views and curious wildlife that wanders and flies in and around the property.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The best feature of our property location is the mountain location overlooking Estes Valley. We have amazing mountain views that you could just spend all day looking at! We are a short distance away from National Forest access with an abundance of trails that are great for trail running, mountain biking, hiking, and dog walking! We are also opposite an Open Space area, Hermit Park, that also has trail access for running, hiking and mountain biking.
We have personal connections with local restaurants, massage therapists, cycle hire, guided climbing, photographic and wildlife safaris, guided snowshoeing, guided hikes, and much more! If there is anything you would especially like to do while you stay with us, we will find a way to make it happen!
