This Poconos vacation home is just one mile away from Big Boulder Ski Resort; Jack Frost Mountain and the Pocono Raceway are both less than ten minutes away. It is very close to Brodhead Watershed and Camelback Ski Area.

my boyfriend and i stayed here with some family to celebrate his birthday, just a little family get together and it was amazing!!! we had trouble with the fire alarm, but gave stan a call and he was extremely helpful!! the house was cleaned upon arrival - and my deposit was returned quicker than i had anticipated!!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway.

This house has pluses and minuses. The house is a short walk from the lake, and the loft area contains a comfortable master bedroom and bathroom. Almost all basic features functioned as advertized after some attention was given to them. For example, we had to replace batteries in the smoke detectors and TV remote controllers, pick up cigarette butts, bottles and other trash in the yard, buy necessary chemicals for the hot tub, and buy multiple room fresheners to help remove the odors, especially in the game room. The screens in the screened porch area (which is almost fully occupied by the hot tub) were damaged or missing, and some of the outside lights did not function. We are very disappointed that the owner has not returned our security deposit, even though he agreed to return it.We have been waiting about 3 months for the return of the deposit and have requested it be sent multiple times.
Owner response:The refund was sent awhile ago to Ireland. It has not been processed by our bank so it looks like it just dissapeared. We will be sending another check soon.
