Spacious 3 bdrm house (new in 2004) with 2 Bdrm guest house, private pool, and jacuzzi. Enjoy the humongous entertainment room with two couches, big TV, pool table and foosball table after a long day in the sun. More special features include Jacuzzi tubs in three of the four bathrooms, all with porcelain floors. There is a large kitchen in main house with black granite countertops and a breakfast bar plus a full kitchen in the guest house. The main house sleeps 8 in beds and 4 more on sleeper sofas while the guest house sleeps 6 in beds and 2 more on a sleeper sofa.

Relax poolside after a day of fishing or golf and feel free to crank up the jacuzzi to soothe those sore muscles. Or simply lounge on the large 10'X 30' deck with comfortable couch and chairs.

Both houses have TVs with CD/DVD players. Lots of extras including huge master suite with a large bathroom including two sinks set in tumbled marble and an oversized jacuzzi tub, with your own walk-in closet. Both houses are beautifully decorated with a beachy atmosphere so that you can truly enjoy your Florida vacation.

Just a short walk to the beach access(2 blocks), Regatta Bay Golf Course, huge shopping complex Destin Commons, and Rave Theatres with 14 stadium seating theatres. Several restaurants within walking distance including Outback, Cracker Barrel, Bonefish Grill, and a Hard Rock Cafe. Wal-mart and Publix within two to three miles for your shopping needs and a Beach Zone beach store within a mile. Bring your boat, plenty of parking and a boat launch within three miles.

  • It amazes me that as many times as my family has vacationed in Destin, none have been more relaxing and laidback as this one. The Lilypad is positioned a perfect distance from the beach. It also provides the perfect place to chill all day or hang out after a day at the beach. Kirby, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!! The Lilypad is like a diamond in the rough as far as the Markwells are concerned.

  • The Lily Pad is an awesome vacation rental. The house is very private, for the days you wnat to skip the beach, and perfectly located off the beach. Just 2 short blocks walk and you are on one of the most beautiful beaches around. The house perfectly accomodated our large group of old sailors and their families for a reunion and week of pre-wedding festivities. The kids absolutely loved the upstairs game room, which left the adults plenty of adult time on the poolside deck. The homes are perfectly appointed with all the kitchen needs you could think of, including 2 blenders (huge plus). Thanks Kirby and Laura for helping to make this trip a great memory.

  • The Lilly Pad is a great place to stay when trying to keep a large group in the same location. The house is furnished with everything necessary to prepare meals for a large group and also with the washer / dryer available will allow you to return home without having to carry tons of dirty laundry. We experienced a couple of small issues, however the reason I bring this up is to note that Kirby was VERY helpful in resolving the issues. It's nice to know that the homeowner is always accessible and willing to do whatever is necessary to resolve issues should they arise. I would recommend this property to any large group and would definitely be willing to stay here again should we decide to visit Destin again.

  • My husband and I got married in Destin last month, and both of our families stayed at the Lily Pad and loved it! The house is in an excellent location, has a nice private pool and hot tub, and there was plenty of room for everyone. We all had a wonderful time and hope to come back soon! Thanks Kirby!
