  We just returned home from the Lily Pad and are ready to go back! We found the house to be very clean and well maintained. We did not lack for anything! The location is very good and there is so much to do that you can't find time to do it all. You can't find better beaches and we had perfect weather the whole time. We have to say that we got the most enjoyment out of the pool! It was a wonderful place to hang out and relax. You definitely want to go to the Harbor Walk area. There is fun for all ages including fireworks on Thursday nights. Kirby is very nice and was very accommodating. We had no problems at the house. I would highly recommend it and we look forward to going back. The O's from MO

  We choose this home to accomadate our family for our beach wedding. The location is perfect, everything is just a couple minutes away! The house had everything we needed and more! Can't wait to come back! Kirby is the owner and is wonderful to work with!

  Before I get started, I must apologize to Kirby for not doing this sooner as we have been so busy lately but there was no way I could forget to share how awesome the Lily Pad was. The house was very clean, well maintained (especially since we arrived the week after Isaac), and provided everything we could have wanted. The photos do not even do it justice. We had a large group of about 20 and had more than enough room to all be comfortable. The house is so well furnished and provides ample space in all sitting areas. The pool and hot tub were so much fun, if we weren't on the beach or eating meals, we were outside enjoying the pool area. We utilized the game area upstairs to play pool and foosball, as well as the large upstairs deck (the wicker lounge chair is so comfy!) The guest house was really nice and provided a 2nd full kitchen including another refrigerator and stove which came in handy. The beach was only a short few blocks walk away and the wagon came in handy to bring our beach stuff to and from the house. Other than going to the beach and store, we didn't even need to leave the house because we literally had everything we needed! All we had to bring was ourselves, clothes, toiletries, and food to cook. Kirby was so nice and great to work with. He was very helpful and so accommodating. There's definitely a reason the Lily Pad has so many positive reviews. I had zero doubts going into this vacation because I knew it would be exactly as we expected, and it ended up being even better than we imagined! The combination of a fabulous home and great owners is exactly what a vacation should be about. I would recommend the Lily Pad to anyone and everyone. We want to start making this an annual trip and will definitely be staying at the Lily Pad again. Thank you so much Kirby, and it was very nice to be able to meet you and Linda!

  We couldn't have asked for anything better for our 15 member extended family vacation. My wife, kids and I have been out of the country, so this was our first opportunity to get together for a vacation since returning to the states. We had 8 adults and 7 children from 5-15. What excited us most about this property is how spacious it was. We were never cramped, there were plenty of places to sleep, and the bonus game room was perfect for playing pool and just hanging out. We brought the Wii and PS3 video game systems, and the kids were able to play upstairs at night after swimming while the adults followed the Olympic coverage. The pool was amazing, the hot tub was a hit, the brand new grill was perfect for grilling. But what we loved most was the seclusion. Even though we were just minutes from some of the prettiest beaches in the world, because the guesthouse was in front of the main property, we were able to swim in complete seclusion. My wife was most impressed with the fully stocked kitchen. There was nothing to buy or bring except for food. Kirby was so accommodating ... very professional and so very nice. If you're thinking of going to Destin anytime soon, please consider the Lily Pad. You won't be disappointed!!

  We loved staying at the Lily Pad for our Family Summer get-to-gether. We had so much room and the game room came in handy with all our little ones. Kirby was just great to work with. He had two pac-n-plays for us since we had two babies. He provided everything that we needed. Also, most important, it was very clean and well equipped. We had everything in the kitchen that we needed and more. It served our needs well and we do plan to stay at the Lily Pad again. Rebecca Shofner

  We just got home yesterday from our 2nd stay at the Lily Pad! This place is very well maintained and we absolutely LOVE the pool area with the nice shady deck and brand new grill! The kitchen is very well equipped, the house was clean, and the pool is absolutely beautiful. It's just a short walk to the beach. I would definitely recommend the Lily Pad to anyone vacationing with a large family. You won't be disappointed. If we vacation in Destin again, we already know where we'll stay!

  We had a great time at the Lily Pad! The accommodations exceeded our expectations. We had several families with infant to pre-teen kids in our group. The flexible sleeping arrangements were great and we had to room to spread out (and there always seemed to be a quiet room or two available when needed). We appreciated that all aspects of the place were scaled for larger groups - the main table can seat 10 or more (plus bar seating), the kitchen was very well-equipped with lots of silverware and dishes, and there was plenty of seating around the pool for everyone. The pool area was great, complete with palm trees for shade and a nice porch and grill. All in all, it was a great place to relax. Kirby, the owner, could not have been nicer or more accommodating to us. We definitely hope to stay at the Lily Pad again!

  The Lily Pad rental was very comfortable, roomy and enjoyable! We loved the pool and deck areas as well as the upstairs game room. The kitchen was up to date with everything available to cook a meal (or not!) and the countertops are beautiful! The beds were all very comfortable and the sheets were especially nice. The house was clean,(I am very picky about floors and this is the first house in many years that I didn't have to clean the floors upon arrival)! I fully recommend the Lily Pad. Our family truly hated for the week to end. Thank you, Kirby for a great vacation rental!

  My family and i just spent a wonderful vacation week at the "Lily Pad" It was everything we had hoped for and much more. The pool was beautiful and warm just the perfect temp, the houses were beautiful and equipped with everything you need to make you feel right at home. We are already looking forward to our next visit to the area and will expect to spend it at the "Lily Pad" I have recommended this property to all my friends and the rest of my family.
