Welcome to our beautiful Wildernest mountain retreat – your home away from home! Built in 1999, this is a quiet top floor, end unit condo offering a spacious 1400 square foot vacation retreat providing privacy and relaxation (two hot tubs & a pool table at the club house).

Nestled in the woods at the top of Wildernest and Buffalo Mountain, Gore Trail is just minutes from great hiking, skiing and shopping. There is easy access to five world class ski resorts, cross country skiing in 30 minutes or less and the Silverthorne Outlet Mall and great restaurants are just minutes away!

From your private deck off the dining area – and every window, enjoy breath taking views of Ten Mile Range, Lake Dillon and Buffalo Mountain.

The large master bedroom is secluded in the loft and is furnished with a classic mountain Lodgepole King Size bed, New 32 inch LCD TV, private bath and spectacular views.

A second master bedroom on the main floor has a beautiful rustic designed queen bed, New 32 inch LCD TV, and a private bath.

The third bedroom is equipped just for the kids with a single/double bunkbed and also has its own bathroom, which also has the laundry. We also provide a full size, pillow top aerobed for the times that you have more than what the beds will accomodate!We just installed a new 32 inch LCD TV in this bedroom as well.

In winter, Summit County has some of the best skiing in the world at Keystone, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, A-Basin, and Vail. Other winter activities include cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, and snowmobiling and of course, shopping for those who don’t care to play in the snow! Just outside your door is a FREE ski area shuttle if you don't care to drive to any of the activities.

Come spring, summer, or fall you will enjoy some incredible hiking, flyfishing and if you want golf - awesome courses in the beautiful Summit County and the surrounding areas including picturesque Vail. Other activities include fishing on the Gold Medal Blue River, Lake Dillon, and the many high mountain lakes, hiking, or biking miles and miles of scenic trails, tennis, four-wheel driving, horseback riding, and much, much more.

Follow up from Kirsten Faessler - Just arrived back to Nebraska this evening. . . and we're already missing the beautiful scenery, house and relaxing time we had. First of all, we were most impressed that you took the time to drive from your house just to reimburse us for the one night. Sorry for all of the phone calls that late Thursday night. I think we were all scared it just wasn't going to work out. But that was definitely proven wrong. . . the remainder of our trip was absolutely spectacular! We loved the house, it was perfect. . . the skiing was fabulous and the weather was beautiful! I just wanted you to know that despite the first night of our trip, and it really wasn't that bad anyway, we had a great time. Thank you so much and I hope that we can return again to your 'little paradise in the mountains"!

  • Truly a home away from home. The property is located at the top of the road and the view out of the big window was an unexpected bonus, snow-covered mountains and the lake – absolutely stunning. Being at the top of the hill, four-wheel drive was very handy with the snow and all. Tip for the visitors: make sure you get clubhouse “code” before heading out to the clubhouse and even more importantly investigate beforehand if the code actually works; because standing in swimwear in 15 degree air, after a full day of snowboarding, earning for a hot-tub pain-relief, while punching a not working code in to the metal keypad for the 100s time, is not fun. Neither is getting not working code from the property management 2 times in a row, finally figuring out what the code is, just to be kicked out promptly by the maintenance. Luckily the hot-tub issue was resolved the first night and has not reoccurred ever again, the rest of the stay was very smooth. The access to I-70 is quick and simple making this a good location for snow sport addicts, getting to the mountains is fast. We enjoyed our stay.
