Casale Boschetto is the entire upper floor of a lovely and gracious, two-hundred-year-old stone villa set in beautiful grounds with cedars, olives, and cypresses. The villa has excellent accommodation and guests are always well looked after. The property lies between Perugia and Assisi.
The grounds include an olive grove (with some hundred trees), fruit trees, vegetables, and a field of chickens. Guests are very welcome to pick fruit and vegetables at any time during their stay. Running almost the full width of the upper floor is a delightful, spacious, loggia for outside eating and relaxing. The infinity swimming pool is set to one side of the house and has lovely views over the surrounding countryside.
The apartment, which is more like a villa on one floor, has its own independent driveway, parking, and entrance.
The couple who own and live in the lower part of the villa, will tell you about the villa's history during World War II and its role in the allied advance to the north. They are superbly hospitable and will do everything possible to make your stay comfortable and rewarding.
The APARTMENT is for those who appreciate comfort and serenity. It is comfortably furnished with many antiques and with modern bathrooms and kitchen. It is a perfect place to relax and from which to visit Umbria's most important and historic sites.

Giuliana is a wonderful cook. As a result of frequent requests from guests she is now offering individual day cooking courses. These are open to both guests at Casale Boschetto and other guests who may be staying in the area.
The ACCOMMODATION (The APARTMENT)
A wide flight of brick steps lead to the entrance loggia and front door which opens into a large, high-ceiling, living room with an impressive inglenook (walk-in) fireplace at one end and Satellite TV.
There is an attractive dining area, with large dining table to seat 8/10, leading into the comfortably and elegantly furnished living area. French windows lead out to the loggia which has outside furniture, dining table and chairs and with lovely views towards Perugia.
The mezzanine floor has a large billiard table and overlooks the living room. Wireless internet connection is available in the whole apartment. The modern kitchen leads from the living room and it, too, has an open fireplace. It is equipped with refrigerator/freezer and gas hob and dishwasher.
Four Bedrooms
Leading from the Sitting room there are three bedrooms in a separate wing of the apartment and the fourth is on the opposite side with its own en-suite bathroom.
Double bedroom with double Queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower, bidet, water closet, and basin.
Double bedroom with double bed, masses of storage space, chest of drawers, and views over the lovely gardens. Tiled bathroom with full-size tub, hand shower, water closet, bidet, and basin.

The apartment is cotto tiled throughout and there are beamed ceilings. A washing machine is available in the main villa.
The GARDEN ANNEXE
A completely independent, fully restored, annexe with Sitting room (large screen satellite TV), fully equipped kitchen with stove and gas grill, BBQ and wood oven. Double bedroom and en-suite bathroom.
