You can enjoy one of our four scenic decks, play a game of pool or ping pong in the family room, or relax with a book in front of the two stone fire places. You’ll also enjoy the vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, new bathrooms, wet bar in the game room, and three TVs with DVD/VCRs, Cable TV and HIGH SPEED wireless internet connection for your laptops.
Ski, snowboard, or tube in the winter. Golf, swim, play tennis, fish, canoe, bike, ride horses, go-cart, and hike in the fall, spring, and summer. Enjoy the Massanutten Resort's new Water Park -- the East Coast's largest 4 seasons water park!!!
There’s no need to leave this resort which includes a 14 trail ski and tubing park, two golf courses, a beautifully designed miniature golf course, fine dining, bar, ski-shop, mini-market and much more. Other popular pastimes include exploring the many Civil War battlefields, museums, national parks, caverns, wineries and antique shops close by.

We do a winter ski trip every February with all my adult children and grandchildren. We had plenty of room for everyone. Loved that they had toys for the children and adult children. Everyone love this house and the kitchen had everything you needed as if you were home. Very comfortable and spacious. Would recommend this house and would rent again in the future.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our agency planned a staff retreat at this home and we had a wonderful experience. We had 6 staffers travel in two cars and found that we had plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked so all we needed were our groceries. The game room was very fun. We loved the location and found plenty to do. The dinning area was perfect for meals and meetings and there were always plenty of seats for conversation in the living room and game room. I would recommend this to any small group looking for a place to plan a retreat.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Le Chalet is a wonderful home to vacation in. It has everything that makes it confortable and cozy yet has everything you need to make it feel like your own home. The kitchen it stocked with all the cooking utensils and dishes, glass silverware etc. that you need to make a full course meal for a big crowd. The pictures and amenities for the house are accurately reflected in the description. The house was clean and well maintained. The downstairs playroom is a great gathering place for everyone and has something for everyone to do. The loft upstairs provides a great retreat to get away and read a book or take an afternoon nap. We went go-karting, played miniature golf, went to a winery and went to the caverns. I would recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a gathering place for a large amt of people. The Stanleys were very easy to talk to and answered any questions we had. My family was so happy with the house and its location that they want to try to make this vacation a tradition every year.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This house is very nice. It has 4 bedrooms and has a nice cabin feel but with modern bathrooms. The house is fully stocked, clean and cozy. We had a very nice family reunion with 12 people. It's probably more suited for about 10 but we had some kids sleep on the sofas and it worked out nicely. The basement has a pool table and a ping pong table and the adults and kids enjoyed spending time together there in the evenings. Most importantly, the owners were very responsive and nice to deal with. You can tell that they wanted their renters to enjoy the stay. As for hikes, I recommend a hike on the ridge trail. If you are an early riser, you can see a beautiful sunrise at the overlook near the ridge trail.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our Thanksgiving reunion was a success and we all enjoyed your vacation home in Massanutten. We appreciated having such a beautiful, spacious and comfortable place for the week. The two fireplaces offered soporific comfort to my family and the three levels afforded everyone their own space for reading or a game of ping pong. You answered our questions quickly via email as we planned the arrival of relatives from three states. My father appreciated the ease of your gas grill, so happily cooked several meals while enjoying the the forest view out back. We walked the neighborhood, and the trail behind the Arboretum. Two car trips were made to the scenic Skyline drive, and my father and I visited Montpelier. In addition, we hosted 4 other relatives for Thanksgiving dinner! What a beautiful well-equipped home you have. Thank you for this memorable opportunity. My father commented that as far as he is concerned, "same time next year."Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
