Barbados is an island with many faces. Hints of a British heritage waft through the cobble-stoned streets. Surfers flock to monstrous waves. Scuba divers visit long lost ships and photograph fish, eels, and turtles. A day's itinerary in Barbados can include snorkeling, surfing, para sailing, wind surfing, scuba diving, shopping, or lying on a beach soaking up the Caribbean sun. So, grab your surfboard, catch some curls, and quench your thirst with an afternoon tea.
This end-of-terrace condominium located in Sunset Crest, St. James Barbados, is clean and comfortable. It is situated in a pleasant avenue among some of the most-sought-after properties in Sunset Crest and Holetown on Barbados' beautiful, platinum, west coast. The rental is just a two-minute walk from the stunning St. James beach in Sunset Crest, where you can partake of various water sports, including scuba diving and snorkeling. The apartment is also just 15 minutes north of the prestigious Sandy Lane Hotel, beach and Sandy Lane Golf Course.
A very good selection of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets are located nearby. Other amenities, including bars, banks, a supermarket, post office, two cyber cafes, and an air-conditioned shopping mall (with duty-free shops), are all close at hand.
Our Barbados Sunset Crest rental is fully air-conditioned. The open-plan living/dining is equipped with a ceiling fan, TV (with digital cable), a radio/CD player, DVD, and a single sofa bed. A cot-style bed can also be provided for an extra guest. There is a telephone for accepting incoming calls and making outgoing local calls (which are free).
The well-equipped kitchenette has a refrigerator/freezer, stove top, counter top oven, convection/microwave oven, electric kettle, and a toaster. The bedroom is air conditioned with twin beds, a wardrobe, and a vanity unit, with an en suite washroom.
Outside, our Barbados condominium has a furnished, shaded veranda at the front, with a lawn (shared with the three adjoining apartments) to the rear.
Should you wish to hire a car during your stay in Barbados, there is ample parking space for two cars on the drive immediately in front of the condominium.

I just returned from a week stay at this charming condo/villa. The villa was as described and very charming. It is comfortable with ac units and ceiling fans in the main living area as well as the BR. The kitchen was very efficient and clean,I cooked fish from the local fish market most nights with ingredients purchased from the grocery store located a couple blocks away. The gas grill on the from porch was wonderful,I cooked chicken breasts one night...very nice! The washing machine was terrific!...I hung the clothes on the line in the back yard to dry...perfect! The Beach Club pool a block away is terrific!...I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and am looking forward to staying again soon!...The owner called me to make sure I was enjoying my stay...very sweet and thoughtful!

2+ weeks and our stay wasn't long enough! Everything was so comfortable and convenient, we wanted to move in permanently! We explored all the different parishes and beaches, by bus, during our stay and couldn't have chosen a more perfect location to call 'home.' The close proximity to the grocery store, bus stop, shops, and restaurants was great. The water was beautiful and swimming and snorkeling easily accessible from the soft, sandy beach right across the street. And the Beach Club access was perfect for those days when we just wanted to relax or sit comfortably and wait for an occassional rain shower to pass or watch another beautiful sunset. We met lots of nice people there to chat with. My husband brought his bicycle and found the island very condusive to riding and racing. We feel we made friends for life with the people we met in the cycling community. We tried everything suggested in the reading materials from the Oistins Friday Night Fish Fry to shopping in Bridgetown to snorkeling the shipwrecks to the horse races-- and everything in between! Karen and Peter were a big help before, and during, our stay and we also found the locals very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back again (if we don't find jobs and move there first ;-) and will recommend your condo to all our friends! Thanks again for providing the catalyst for such a fantastic time! Your property is exactly as you said it would be! We had an excellent time and absolutely loved your apartment. It is so convenient to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. The apartment is so clean and it was wonderful having WiFI, digital cable and a BBQ at the apartment. I truly felt like I was in paradise! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.
