Casa Tolteca is a completely private luxury estate, nestled within the enchanted tropical rainforest of Manuel Antonio. CasaTolteca is the most frequently rented luxury estate for three reasons:
1) Perfect Location - While CasaTolteca is completely private and surrounded by rain-forest, you can easily walk to over a dozen restaurants, bars, a private nature reserve, beaches, and even a casino. You don’t need a car. With no visible neighbors, exotic birds, monkeys, and other wildlife frequently visit CasaTolteca.
2) Privacy - From virtually every corner of the estate, you have complete privacy. The only thing you see is lush tropical rain-forest and stunning ocean views. Other homes are built on narrow lots with neighbors that you can see and hear just feet away.
3) Horizontal Living - Spread out horizontally, not vertically like most houses in the area, you don't feel like you are confined to the indoors. CasaTolteca is completely private no matter if you are indoors or out. There is room to gather as a group, or retreat to your own private suite.

CasaTolteca’s four spacious, well-appointed living suites, as well as its inviting pool and gardens, command spectacular views of the Pacific. The villa offers six comfortable bedrooms with three king and three queen beds, and six full baths--each with a double vanity, as well as expansive decks and a beautiful vanishing edge pool with refreshing waterfall.
CasaTolteca is more than just a private villa... it is a secluded private estate with four separate living suites spread out horizontally over the grounds (not a large vertical building). With over 6500 square feet of living space, huge covered balconies, plus large private gardens, and surrounded by endless rain-forest, you won't feel like you are cramped in a house.
CasaTolteca is ideal for large groups in that it provides two large great rooms for full-group activities while affording all the privacy of four complete living spaces, each with its own fully equipped kitchen, dining area and comfortable lounge.
Both the Sky suite on the upper terrace and the Ocean suite on the middle terrace have two bedrooms, two baths, fully equipped kitchens, and great rooms large enough to accommodate gatherings of twenty to thirty people. The Jungle suite on the lower terrace and the Casita each offer an intimate studio with kitchens, bathroom, living area, and outdoor deck.
During your stay at CasaTolteca, you'll be pampered with daily maid service. You can optionally have any of your meals prepared by a superb chef. "We wanted to thank you for the beautiful accommodations at Casa Tolteca. It was breathtaking and perfect in every way. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful, clean, and spacious place to stay, with all the comforts of home. Every morning we were entertained by monkeys, both squirrel and capuchin, out back and around the balconies. We also had a sloth hanging in one of the trees and of course several iguanas on the tree tops--it was fabulous. During our last evening, several toucans swooped by and landed in the tree over the pool.
"Your concierge was wonderful and the maid did a great job. We were greeted by them on Saturday with gorgeous flower arrangements and a huge basket of fresh fruit. The entire villa smelled of fresh flowers. I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked in and saw the view out over the lush rainforest and the pacific ocean and how perfect everything was.

I quickly fell in love with the people and the culture and purchased an estate as my home-away-from-home. After extensive renovations, I'm proud that I have made CasaTolteca the most rented home in the country... unfortunately, that means I never get to visit. So recently, I just purchased another acre of land to build my own retirement home in a few years.

We really enjoyed our stay and loved Casa Tolteca. It was a dream-come-true to take our children and grandchildren with us, although unfortunately my daughter couldn't make it with the new baby. The house was all we had hoped and was perfect for an extended family like ours because each group had its privacy, its own place. Thomas was a tremendous help; he is a real asset, always available and coming over to see for himself how everything is going, which really allayed my nervousness because taking this group of so many people at such an expense, we really wanted everyone to be happy and felt responsible for their happiness (sounds crazy but I did) - Thomas was so consistently helpful that I calmed down, which helped my vacation. We LOVE Casa Tolteca! Again thank you very much. You have a beautiful property and I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about going to CR. Rose

We would come again in a heartbeat if the economy were better...I know it is affecting everyone in every country. Casa Tolteca was more than we could have asked for or dreamed of. We had 11 of us and we all had the best time ever... I left a long message in your guest book...I tend to ramble...but thank you again... it will be forever remembered as one of our most memorable vacations...Francini and Cornelius were the best and the food better than any restaurant...one morning many families of monkeys came flying through the villa on rooftops and railings...the guys caught 10 sailfish and 3 Dorado...we shared all the photos we took each evening on the big screen TV and as I mentioned in your book... “Our memories of Costa Rica will linger on long after our footprints in the sand are gone”. This is one special house! After touring in the northern mountains the week before in 40-50 MPH winds and horizontal rain, arriving at Casa Tolteca was akin to finding the Garden of Eden.

Well our tans are fading but we are all still reliving our incredible trip to Casa Tolteca through our photos and videos. My partner of 17 years was celebrating his 40th birthday with 12 of our best, lifelong friends. The Casa is perfectly laid out, gorgeous and well maintained. We got lots of help from the manager who lives nearby and would check on us each day and help with booking tours, meals, or just friendly advice. Costa Rica is beautiful and the people are genuinely hardworking, humble and very friendly people. Casa Tolteca is in Manuel Antonio and an ideal location. What was great is that we never drove and mostly walked to the beach every day except for our zip lining tour. There are lots of bars, grocery stores, restaurants, taxis and buses around. The owner of the Casa was very easy to work with and we got what was advertised. We Loved It All! Jeff

The whole family had a blast. The house is beautiful as well as the surrounding property. The kids all had no problem navigating there way around the house and pool area and they could have gone nowhere and been in heaven the whole trip. One day about 30-40 spider monkeys descended on the property and stayed around for about a half hour giving everyone a very unique treat. Zip lining, para sailing, deep sea fishing, golfing, and small side trips were all very easy to accomplish due to the location of the property. Although we really didn't need Thomas assistance that much he was available whenever we did need him, thank him for all his help. The chefs were great and we all ate more than we needed. They also did a great job with the birthdays we had. We are already looking into dates for next year for a return trip around the same time. The weather was perfect and we all felt much more comfortable in Costa Rica(Manual Antonio) than on most of our previous family vacations to Mexico. Thank you again for opening your house to us and we will be in contact for next year.

We had an absolutely awesome time in Costa Rica, and did not want to come home! It is hard to get all of our family together in one place as they are scattered across the U.S. And in Japan! Everyone was thrilled with the accommodations, and the location of the house was perfect as everyone was very comfortable with jumping on the bus! The house is perfectly arranged, especially for a group like ours, and was extremely well equipped! We loved the upper deck and the views, and our resident iguana. We had a wonderful Christmas dinner prepared by your staff, who were delightful! And I cannot say enough about how great Thomas was. He was so responsive, capable, and personable. You have a real gem in Thomas!!! The house exceeded our expectations, and I will definitely recommend it to others who may be interested!

We can't imagine any better backdrop to have our wedding. We had our wedding party stay at CasaTolteca and guest stayed just across the street at the Falls Hotel. The chef made a great wedding feast at the house that fit our group of 40 guests! We have been to Manuel Antonio many times and have stayed at many villas and think that CasaTotleca must be the best of them all. We love how you have large areas for the entire group to get together, but also have space to get away from the pack when you want. And the location can't be beat! We would like to thank Michael, Thomas, and Yensy for making this the perfect wedding day.

I just wanted to say thank you for helping us have such a fabulous vacation. The entire week was fantastic and Casa Tolteca was the perfect spot for us. The house is beautiful and we always looked forward to returning after the days activities. It was like a dream. Thank you so much for all the arrangements you made for us. You certainly recommended great tours, and it was always nice to see your smiling face. Cornelius and his wife were fabulous cooks. They prepared great meals and were very warm and inviting people.
