This home borders the Little Deschutes River. It is a top vacation rental in the heart of Central Oregon’s high mountain lakes region. A great variety of wildlife including deer, otter, beaver, hawks, quail, and jumping trout can be viewed from the home.
The home is situated on a three-acre wooded site and has over 250 feet of river frontage. The Little Deschutes is a crystal clear trout river, with good numbers of Browns and Rainbows. An expert fly-fisherman described it as "Paradise" after catching and releasing a 22-inch Rainbow.
This beautiful home features vaulted ceilings, three bedrooms (two with Queen beds with thick pillowtop mattresses and down comforters) plus one with a Queen bed and twin bunks.
The game room offers a regulation size slate-bed pool table, foosball table, dartboard, X-BOX360 and Wii, and some board games. This room can provide hours of enjoyment for youngsters and adults alike.
The home features a heated 8X40 lap pool kept at 80 degrees with the room at 83 degrees. The pool goes from 3 to 6 feet in depth. There is a 400 square foot deck just outside 2 french doors just off the pool room. The slate floor makes the swimming pool room one you won't soon forget.
A few of the other "extras" include a large Catalina hot tub, 8X40 heated indoor lap pool, two big-screen TV’s, X-BOX360 and Wii, stereo system, and attractive wood floors. All bedding, towels, and kitchen equipment are provided, along with cable service, an outdoor BBQ, dishwasher, telephone, washer and dryer.
Nearby are world-class golf courses, the Mt. Bachelor ski area, mountain lakes, waterfalls, wilderness trails, volcanic attractions, and scenic drives. The city of Bend with many fine restaurants and major shopping centers is only 20 minutes away. Flights to the area go into the Redmond airport which is 40 miles away. Just 8 miles north is the Sunriver Airport that accomodates planes up to corporate jet size.
Well-mannered, quiet pets are welcome. There is a large dog run. Please discuss in advance.
