No need to use a car when the chairlifts are located a few steps away from your vacation apartment, one the few condominium at this mountain resort to offer three bedrooms, two bathrooms and three patio doors that provide a lot of sunshine!
In the same building, we also own a two-floors, two bedrooms unit, that sleeps eight more guests.
Daytime or nighttime, beginner, intermediate, expert skiers and snowboarders will enjoy the Stoneham Ski Resort experience and its snowpark, which is now part of the World Cup Snowboard annual schedule.
Over 30 runs are accessible and most are also opened at night, until 10 PM. Bars and restaurants stay open late seven days a week. Private or groups lessons are available at the station.
All year round, Quebec City is a prime destination for tourists. Downtown Old Quebec is located about 20 minutes south of Stoneham. In 2008, Quebec City celebrate its 400th anniversary with many special activities, shows and sporting events. In may, the World hockey championship will be presented at the Colisee, a 15 000 seats venue. If you want to stay away for hotels crowds and rates, Stoneham is the place.
During summer time, Celine Dion (August) and Yes (July) and many other rock formations will offer memorable performance. Some of them, free admission!
Quebec City will cater you with its fine cuisine and enjoy its nightlife. Museums, historic buildings are numerous in this city founded in 1608.
Special events are presented year round. The Summer Festival and the Nouvelle-France celebrations bring more heat in your summer. And what about a professional baseball game at Le Stade Municipal home of the professionnal baseball team Quebec Capitales of the Can-Am League. Be part of the action!
Every autumn, the nature changes its colors in a unique way. When others cities fall asleep when winter is around the corner, Quebec is offering it's cold season outdoors pleasures.
In Winter time, hockey fans will be on hand at the Coliseum to watch Quebec Remparts games (QJMHL), North American league action or the World Pee-Wee championship.
Families can't miss the Winter Carnival (February), simply the biggest winter carnival of the world which offers outdoors activities during more than two weeks.
From Quebec, you can easily reach major cities like Montreal (2 h 30) Sherbrooke (2 h), Saguenay (2 h) or Trois-Rivieres (1 h). Natural attractions in close range. By car, you will reach the wonderful Charlevoix region in less than an hour. Whales, spectacular views, artcrafts and the Casino are yours to discover.
