Welcome to Casa Esmeralda. Our beautiful seven bedroom, six bathroom home is situated in exclusive "Enclave" section of Emerald Island Resort, a new gated resort community which is within a five minute drive of Disney World. It is an ideal location for large family groups. Inside, the house is fully-equipped to a very high standard to meet all your holiday requirements.
If you want to keep in touch with friends and family at home, we provide you with free unlimited international and long distance phone calls.
We also provide wi-fi high speed internet access at no additional charge
Each bedroom has a TV/DVD/VCR combo with an additional PS2 in the den and a 51 inch wide-screen TV, Home Theatre, DVD and VCR in the living area. The kitchen is generously equipped for eating indoors or outside. The house is fully air-conditioned and has a games room with a pool table, foosball table and air hockey. The house leads onto a shaded lanai with tables, chairs and a barbecue grill. Beyond is a screened deck area with a heated south-facing 30 foot pool and spa with sun loungers, overlooking a lake and a wooded conservation area. There are alarms on all doors leading to the pool and a child safety fence can be erected if preferred.
Emerald Island (considered one of the area’s finest communities) is built around a wooded area with a walking/jogging/biking trail. Shuttle services are available to the attractions. There is a large clubhouse with a heated community pool and spa, sauna, fitness centre, clubroom, video games room, and computer room with free internet access. Facilities also include an outdoor play area for children, tennis courts and a Tikki Hut. The management company for our house is based two minutes’ drive away in Formosa Gardens Plaza which has a large supermarket and several shops and restaurants.
For sports enthusiasts, there are several highly regarded golf courses within a very short drive. In addition to Disney World, attractions such as Sea World, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure are easily accessed via the I-4 junction minutes away from the house. Kennedy Space Centre is an hour’s drive away on the Atlantic Coast along with famous beaches such as Cocoa Beach. Busch Gardens in Tampa is an hour’s drive towards the Gulf Coast with yet more beautiful beaches to choose from along the Gulf.

Why the Owner Chose Emerald Island Resort
We stayed in a number of different communities in the Orlando area before we decided to buy a house there. When we first visited Emerald Island, we knew immediately that this was the resort for us. We set our sights on buying a house with a south facing pool area overlooking one of the lakes. We couldn't believe our luck when Casa Esmeralda became available. Not only was it our dream house, it was also in the perfect location.

We are Gareth and Cathie. We first visited Florida with our children in 1997 and have been coming back ever since. What do we love about the Orlando area? The sunshine, the scenery, the theme parks for the children and the opportunity to relax by playing tennis and golf, swimming and visiting beautiful beaches and national parks. Nowhere helps us unwind like Florida.

Well what can I say that ain't been said already. This is our second time back to your villa and thank you once again Gareth and Kathy for a brillent holiday. Your villa is so clean and spacious. The new snooker table was just brill for the older kids in our party and kept them entertained 24/7! Of course most days were spent at the parks and your location to disney is perfect. Emerald Island resort feels 100% safe and all the staff that work there are really friendly. My 4 year old daughter said there are lots of beds and a wicked house to play hide and seek. I was there with my immediate family, all 16 of us and not once did I feel over crowded. We are all looking forward to our next Florida expereince and will stay at your villa again. Hello Gareth. We wanted you to know what a wonderful time we had at Casa Esmeralda. The house accommodated all 15 of us comfortably. We especially enjoyed the sparkling clean pool and spa. Hi Gareth, Really enjoyed our stay in your home at Emerald Island - perfectly situated for the Disney Parks etc and we felt safe in the gated community. The pool was exceptionally clean, and the villa of a high standard with plenty of linen, towels,crockery etc for all 10 of us. We were very pleased with the communications during the enquiry and booking process. The house looked great and was even better than we had thought from the pictures. Everything was in order and obviously well managed. We have been to Florida and Orlando on three previous occasions and stayed in the Davenport area (Highlands reserve twice and Hampton Lakes once) and much preferred the Emerald Islands location for convenience and security. We would happily recommend Casa Esmeralda to others.

The house was wonderful! Upon arrival everything was clean and working properly. The beds were comfortable, the furniture was in good shape, there were plenty of linens, and everything was great. We felt very safe with the gated entry and we enjoyed the workout room in the clubhouse, the volleyball court, and the tot lots. We had a wonderful time and if we ever vacation again in Orlando we will definitely stay at casa Esmeralda.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Florida staying at this property. The amenities at the house are superb and the information provided by the owner prior to departure and by the management company during our stay was excellent. I would not hesitate in recommending this property to anybody else looking for a Florida villa vacation close to Disney World and other Orlando attractions. We are already considering booking a return trip next year.
