This very private two bedroom townhome features clean newer contemporary furnishings, very tastefully decorated. Greenhouse History: The award winning Greenhouse, completed in 1972, is located in the Downtown section of Palm Springs, across from East Alejo Road from "Twin Palms," the former home of Frank Sinatra and Ava Gardner. The Greenhouse itself has had its own share of Hollywood notables over the years.
The Greenhouse was designed by the noted Los Angeles firm of Maxwell Starkman, AIA, Architect and Associates. In the 1940s, Mr. Starkman worked in the architectural office of Richard Neutra, one of the most talented and famous of the mid-century architects. The Greenhouse is a 10 acre gated garden community.
It is noted for having the luxury of extensive landscaped open spaces and its park like feel. Excluding golf course developments, this ratio of open space to building is one of the highest in the Coachella Valley. The community amenities include expansive landscaped areas with striking views of the mountains, 2 swimming pools, a spa, a tennis court, 5 water fountains, covered parking for residents and ample parking for guests.
The community consists of 19 buildings holding 76 dwellings grouped 4 to a building. Each unit is approximately 1200 square feet, not including exterior living space, and has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and a private patio with enough space for ample outdoor living. The placement of the buildings ensures privacy for each unit.

We love Palm Springs year round. At the Greenhouse, we can walk to downtown Palm Springs. Plus, we are close to shopping, restaurants, movies, the Casino, and golf. Although its a condo, its extremely quiet.

We enjoy our private patio for dining outside and bar-b-quing. We like to bike, hike, walk to downtown Palm Canyon. At night we can wak to restaurants and the casino, as well as movie theatres.
