  My family took a spring vacation to Myrtle Beach in early March. We found this place on the net, and we were not disappointed. Nope! We were totally thrilled. My children were constantly amazed as they wandered through after our arrival. The house was just outstanding, situated within a very safe, yet beautiful gated community/campground. It is a lovely, spacious house, with fantastic direct ocean views. Sunrise was absolutely spectacular, and the beach is a 15 yard walk out the front door. The amenities were as advertised, from the HD TV's to wireless internet. The sleeping accomodations and bathrooms are clean, neat, and attractive. The kitchen is fully equipped, as advertised and allows for constant interaction with family if you decide to stay in and cook rather than eating out. The house is well kept and clean. You will appreciate the decks ... that's right, there is a lower deck with plenty of space for large group activity with brand new deck furniture in the currently popular bistro styled height. And, there is also a deck off of the 2nd floor master bedroom and 2nd bedroom and this deck has the new furniture as well. The photos of the house are accurate, but you really have to see it in person to appreciate all that you get when you rent the house. The house is within a safe, gated ground with plenty of amenities that a family would enjoy. Located on the grand strand of Route 17, you have easy access to any of the great tourist spots. The owner, was extremely helpful and always prompt in returning calls and answering questions. Overall, this was a great experience. Beautiful place and on the "must do again" portion of the bucket list.

  This house has one of the best views in Myrtle Beach. Awesome deck furniture to use as you enjoy the ocean sights and sounds. We saw dolphins every morning and the sunrise was awesome every day. Lewis and his wife were incredible to work with. House is very nicely decorated.

  My family stayed at this wonderful house after Christmas and for the new year. The view was perfect and the house was wonderful. Louis, the owner was very easy to work with. We will stay here again.

  I have been renting this house for years now and I can't say enough about the house and Lewis..He's an awesome guy to talk to and the house is incredible with awesome views from almost every room...The house is everything and more for the perfect vacation..We will continue to rent this house in the upcoming years, I wouldn't take my vacation anywhere else..Ocean Lakes is just great and the house is more than words can say...I will continue to give this house the highest recommendation and to recommend it to everyone I know..Thank you Lewis!!!

  Every year I search for hrs to find just the right house This was perfect my family and I had a wonderful time. The house was just as pictured, very clean and we felt right at home. We spent most of the time on the deck enjoying the view of the ocean. We love being right on the beach. Lewis was great to work with and we loved Ocean Lakes and plan to return next year.

  i wanted a house on the beach & this was perfect. there are ocean views from almost every room in the house. we loved it. there was plenty of room, very comfortable, & convenient. there is a Walmart close by for any necessary items. we loved the decks. it was great to sit out, get sun, & watch the dolphins. at night you could hear the ocean waves as you lay in bed. it was like a lullaby. ocean lakes is a gated community with plenty of security. the golf cart made it easy to get around the community. it was also fun. Lewis is a really nice guy, honest, & easy to deal with. would definitely go back. thank you Lewis.

  I was very hesitant to book just like the prior review.....however,Lewis was SO patient with all my concerns and very calming! We had 3 families arriving at the house ranging in age from 1 1/2 to 51, everyone had a great time!! House is so beautiful, just as pictures show. I can not say enough about the view you have of the ocean......AMAZING!! I was very sad to leave and would definitely return to this house. Plenty of room for all 3 cars we had and would definitely recommend the golf cart!!! Everyone in the campground uses a golf cart! THANK YOU Again Lewis for being so patient with me!! Our family really enjoyed our stay in your home and will be in contact with you again!

  This house was beautiful...it is located on a beautiful sandy beach. If you are looking for a place where there are people around, then Ocean Lakes is the place to go. There is nothing like having a cup of coffee in the morning on the deck & watching the waves. The house was very comfortable and I liked it when you went to bed at night you didn't hear people outside except for some fireworks once in a while that were lit off on the beach. Lewis was very nice on the phone when ever I called prior to our visit. Thanks again Lewis!

  I had many reservations about renting a property not having seen it. Lewis was very kind (and patient) answering all my questions. We were not disappointed. The house was beautiful, the location was one of the best in Ocean Lakes and it was great for the kids as well. The most relaxing vacation every!
