Property description

Within this old Majorcan farming estate or “possesió” as they are known in Majorca, we have restored with great quality, three original stone built houses which we now offer as self catering accommodation in which you can enjoy a relaxing holiday.

Terraced and independent, the restoration of each house has been guided by using traditional elements and architecture complemented by the comfort and warmth we desire for our guests.

Tastefully decorated and furnished with all the expected amenities, also with little details that make your stay so special. We personally supervise the houses to insure the maximum standards of cleanliness and comfort.

Environment and sustainable development.

By means of this project, we have set out to share with you our aim of creating a community development which is attractive yet sustainable. Our objective is to harmonize environmental protection with the economic, social and cultural development of our island. One of the consequences of our commitment is to reinvest the economic resources obtained through agro tourism so as to reach this objective.

Moreover, we have taken three initiatives:
1- Solar energy:.The hot water consumed at Sa Boleda is produced with the help of solar energy.

2- Reforestation:. We have a small tree nursery where we germinate seeds from native trees such as the Holm Oak (quercus ilex), wild Olive Tree (olea europea, var.Silvestris), Almez (celtis australis), Palm Heart (chamaerops humilis), etc. When they have germinated, we then transplant them.

3- Photovoltaic energy:.Thanks to our 10 kW grid connected photovoltaic installation we produce as much clean electricity as our annual consumption.

Renovated in 2011, it brings together tradition and comfort, with special respect for the environment, energy efficiency and sustainability. “Sa Clastra” is a one story house that consists of a bedroom with an en suite bathroom and another bedroom with two en suite bathrooms. It has an impressive lounge with a wood stove and satellite television, a spacious dining room that overlooks the pool, and a kitchen. It has free WiFi access in all rooms. An additional bed and cots are available for children. “Sa Clastra” is completed by an exclusive outdoor area: a wide 150 square metre terrace, gardens, and a 3 x 10 metre swimming pool. Car: Necessary

The architecture of Sa Boleda is a fine example of the social and agrarian structure of Majorca many years ago. Near the houses you can find the remains of a talaiotic (prehistoric) village as well as an Arabian qanat.

Sa Boleda is a good place to set off on a cycling tour, as there are lots of rural paths nearby. If you want to visit the past, you can go to other country estates such as Son Real, that has a necropolis on the seaside or Son Serra de Marina, with an untouched talaiot and virgin beaches.

Santa Margalida is the closest village. There you can visit the recently restored church or you can browse for bargains at its market, held on Tuesdays and which offers local products.

Golf: Golf courses can be found in Pollensa, Aucanada or Capdepera (15 - 20 km)
