Relax on the deck and listen to the Snake River running by as you enjoy the mountain scenery, soak in the hot tub after skiing one of five nearby ski areas (Keystone, Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin (A-Basin), Copper Mountain, and Vail), or simply read a book by the fire while snow settles on the mountains outside. Winter or summer, this is a great place to spend a vacation!
Our cozy 1000 square foot luxury townhome is set among the trees, giving it a secluded feeling. Still, the Keystone gondola is less than a mile away; only a couple of minutes on the free shuttle.
This professionally decorated, ground level townhome has a well-stocked kitchen. Each of the bedrooms has a queen-sized bed and there is a double sofabed in the living room. With a beautiful home and all the activities to enjoy, this is a place where you can have a memorable vacation!

I and my friends enjoyed our stay in this cozy yet roomy townhome! Located on the ground floor, there are no stairs to climb! The deck is a relaxing place to drink your morning coffee and listen to the tranquil sound of the Snake River.
The townhome is beautifully decorated throughout featuring the lodge look in earth tones. The living room has seating capacity for the family as well as a TV for watching your favorite shows. The fully-equipped kitchen is a cook’s dream with all of the things needed to cook a delicious meal. There are two lovely bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The vacation home even has a washer and dryer! The hot tub is just across the parking lot from this unit.
This townhome is in the quiet area of Keystone yet all of the activities are just a short bus ride away. And the bus stop is just a short walk. There are many wonderful activities to enjoy in this area including golf!

...Well, just a few yards away. You can tell this property is owner maintained. All the comforts of home. Very clean, quality towels, awesome master bath, portable fan in both rooms, humidifier, movies, board games. I would go on but I don't want the price to go up. We wanted for only one thing from the kitchen. Flour. Apparently, cupcake mix needs a little extra at 10,000 ft. They tasted good though. In the off chance the kitchen doesn't have the condiment you need...Safeway, City Market, & a Super Target will be stumbled upon while sightseeing. Same low prices as your hometown. As value add, Laura should consider buying 4 or so used dual fit helmets at a swap meet/garage sale and store them with the sleds for guests to use. It could save a skiing family of 4 about $35 a day. My family holds harmless in event helmet fails to save me from those crazy boarders. Our stay was great but who doesn't have a big time at Keystone?...This home just made it better! My daughter was born in the caribbean and she has never been skiing or in the snow. We stayed with a friend at the condo and it was fantastic. The place in itself was fantastic, beautifully laid out, fireplace (humidifiers were a real plus), everything was ready and available. It was extremely comfortable and the location was perfect for our outdoor activites. We went tubing, sleighriding with dinner and skiing, all in close proximity. After a long day of freezing our caribbean butts, the hot tub was the perfect ending to a perfect day! I appreciated the attention to detail and the quality of the linens in the condo. Another very appreciated service was the shoveling after a heavy snowfall from the gentleman who worked on the property, they were very kind and assisted with taking bags to the car. We plan to make this a yearly holiday and hopefully spend more time going down the slopes than trying to stand up!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This Condo has everything. I mean everything. You don't need to pack your shampoo, conditioner, lotion. It is so convenient, especially with the 3 oz limits on liquids when flying. It is one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. The owners, keep everything in excellent condition. It is a very comfortable "home". It is surrounded by several ski resorts and anything you need is within a ten minute drive. I have stayed there during all seasons. It is beautiful all times of the year.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Walking in the townhome was an absolute joy--a large place with holiday music playing, humidifiers and the fireplace on--it was as picturesque as it gets. Our family of four stayed here for 2 weeks and it quickly became our home away from home. The townhome had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil and pot and pan we needed to cook our meals. The washer and dryer was a great plus and all the small touches like the humidifiers, the lightning fast wireless, the extensive array of channels available on all of the three televisions were things that made our stay all the more enjoyable. The owners were great and accommodating--they recommended different activities for our family and made themselves available if we needed anything (we didn't). This townhome had everything we needed to include the convenience of the slopes with the privacy of being nestled in the woods, there is nothing beating this place.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

The place was so nice. It was like a quaint cabin but with all modern amenities. In a condo community, but very private. Sitting on the deck in the sun, between day and night skiing was divine. Just a couple of minutes to the mountain. Keystone conditions were great, even though it apparently hasn't been an ideal season. Crowds were low so that made it even better for us!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is a super great condo that provided all of the comforts of home and it is in a great location! It is the perfect set-up for a small group or just a weekend away. Not to mention, the rockin' time you can have playing Farkle, one of the many games provided for guests. All in all, I highly recommend this condo!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This place was perfect for our summer 8 day stay and our only mistake was not to stay longer. Very peaceful and serene. The owners have every amenity possible and provide a very well stocked kitchen with plenty of condiments, coffee, tea, salad dresings,- every detail is well thought out. The hide a bed is very comfortable and serene with the sound of the creek behind the condo. Also greatly enjoyed the commnity hot tub at Trapper's, wonderful hiking and biking trails. Very clean and perfectly manitained. I would highy recommend this place and hope to stay again on our next visit to CO Rockies.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

What a beautiful way to escape to the snowy mountains of Colorado!!! The condo is perfect--cozy and comfortable, superbly equipped, and very clean...just like your own home away from home! Nestled among the trees, it is a nice way to be close to Keystone, but have your own space as well! We had a fantastic time and have already made arrangements to return...we would like to stay forever! Thank you so much!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My husband & I recently spent a month in this beautiful townhome. It is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to be comfortable. It was so very clean & we enjoyed the great deck with grill & table with bar stools & large umbrella. The hummingbirds visited us each day as we sat out and enjoyed listening to the nearby creek! The setting in the trees is beautiful & quiet & close to restaurants, entertainment, & shopping in River Run. We would love to return here, & would definitely recommend it!!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: Laura and Chris live in the foothills west of Golden, Colorado near Denver. Laura moved to Colorado from Wisconsin in 1982 and Chris moved here from Southern California in 1994. We met on a Lake Powell houseboat trip in 1998 and were married on St. Thomas (US Virgin Islands) in 2000. We love Colorado with its beautiful scenery, and outdoor and cultural activities. We have season tickets to a local theatre company. Laura's passion is volleyball and Chris enjoys skiing and golf. We love to travel and have recently been to Panama and Mexico, but our travel highlight was our three-month trip to New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji in 2004.
Why the Owner Chose Trapper's Crossing:
We love the Trapper's Crossing location. Close enough to Keystone village, but in a more secluded, forested location. We enjoy the quiet, peaceful ambiance and the fact that we can hear the Snake River from the deck. We chose the single story layout specifically for its ease of access. We chose Keystone because it is close to so many ski areas and has great summer activities and events.
