  Sunset Villas was absolutely beautiful and just what we both needed, from fishing on the dock each night to relaxing in the chairs and watching the awesome sunsets. The villa was very clean and accomodating, we couldn't of asked for more. It was so nice(having our coffee/tea each morning) as we walked out of our door to what we can only describe as heaven on earth. We spent many days & nights right there at the villa, there is so much to enjoy....bicycles, kayaking and just enjoying all the beautiful fish that were right off of the dock, we even had the pleasure of seeing manatees. We have so many happy memories we will cherish forever. We certainly look forward to returning. Thank you so much Katrina and Bill for your wonderful hospitality.

  My boyfriend and I stayed at this property 3/23/13 through 3/30/13 and were thoroughly thrilled with our experience. We stopped at a grocery store prior to our arrival which was a good move as the nearest grocery store or restaurant is approximately 20 minutes away (in Marathon). Our intention was to be lazy and spend time in the sun the whole week but Mother Nature had other ideas... However, this location was great for a day trip to Key West as well as an afternoon in Islamorada. The outdoor patio area was wonderful as it is right on the water and is in full sun the whole day, when it is shining! We stayed in the one bedroom apartment on the second level; it was spacious, extremely clean and had everything we needed. We especially liked the tiled, walk-in shower. My only suggestion would be to add a full-length mirror in the bedroom--nice for short people like me!! Overall, we had an awesome time and look forward to returning.

  Extremely well maintained, clean, modern. Owners available to answer questions and offer advice regarding meals, dining, fishing trips which were all great recommendations. The outdoor patio was perfect for relaxing and socializing with others if the mood hit. Good kitchen setup. Recommend highly.

  I made the contact because of the great reviews, and now I'll try to write one of my own. My brother and I stayed here for a fishing trip, and we actually had to maneuver our travel plans at the last minute due to Hurricane Isaac. Capt. Bill and Katrina were honest and accomodating, and their location and facilities are first rate. When we needed info as to finding local places, they were very quick and resourceful. We ended up spending much more time near the property than expected, fishing, snorkeling, and kayaking. Plus, and I'm sure there are very good restaurants in the area, but grilling out watching the sun set over the Gulf is a spectacular sight. We will be back again for sure!

  This property is a hidden jewel. We walked thru the garden gate surrounded with beautiful tropical foilage and there the "place of peace". The view is amazing. Watching the sunset here is probably the most peaceful feeling I have found on a vaca. We loved the villa! It was clean and had what we needed for the week. The owners were great! Perfect home base for seeing the Keys. After a day of visiting the islands we would return to the villa for an evening of fishing on the dock and relaxing. 4th of July was spectacular as we decided not to go to the crowded celebration, and were surprised with front row seats of fireworks over the water, right from the garden. I enjoyed seeing the Keys, but my favorite part was the peaceful sunset. This is a great place!

  I don't think the pictures did this place justice because it was everything it claimed but so much more. Katrina and Bill somehow managed to be wonderful hosts without ever being intrusive and so helpful about where to eat, fishing charters, and essentially anything we needed to know to make our vacation so special. We were looking for serenity, outstanding water views, and an island feel which were ours for the taking at Sunset Villa - our view of the water was a 180 degree unblemished view with the sun setting right in the middle. I can see why Katrina said her return rate is so high because this will be home base for us anytime we return to the keys assuming there is an opening. If anyone wants to stay here, they better act sooner rather than later, because it is really a jewel.

  I was very pleased with selecting this location. I chose it because it was my first visit to the keys and I wasn't sure whether to stay in the north or south. Conch Key is centrally located in the keys, which was perfect for what my husband and I had planned for our trip. The open waterfront is perfect, and the way it's positioned makes it feel so private. Although we didn't get to enjoy the kayak, bikes and dock due to rain, these amenities would have been perfect. The inside of the villa was clean, with everything we needed. It was obvious that the place is well cared for, as nothing was in need of repair or maintenance. I will definitely plan to return in the near future. On top of everything the location offers, the owners are great, too! This place will not disappoint!

  My wife and I spent a wonderful week at Sunset Villas and can not wait to return. We stayed in the 1 bedroom villa and enjoyed our breakfast on the patio each morning, and never thought or going to dinner until after experiencing the sunset. With the unit so centrally located in the Keys just about everything is an option. However with the spacious and well appointed outside area, just spending time at the unit was all we could ask. Swimming and fishing right of the dock (I caught my first tarpon), sleeping in the hammock, or reading and having an adult beverage up in the tree house, this place has it all. The unit was as clean as anyone could have wanted. I recommended this to anyone who enjoys the water, the weather the outdoors.

  We just returned from our week at Sunset Villa, we were so pleased with our choice. You have everything you need here. The views are to die for, fishing in the ocean right off of the dock outside your door. Exceptionally clean facility! I would recommend staying with Bill and Katrina for anyone going to the keys. It is in the perfect spot, you are a short drive from Key West going south or Key Largo going north. They have a pet cat, Prancer who is the best natured grey tabby cat, that I have ever met. He was a real joy to have around. Sunset Villa is a real bargain! It is quiet, clean, relaxed atmosphere. We will definately stay here again! Night time was exciting to see Large Tarpon right off the end of the dock.

  We stayed here for our honeymoon and enjoyed every minute of it. We were nervous because we rented online but we were very pleasantly suprised. Both of us have high stress jobs and found this spot to be the perfect spot to get away from it all. We will definately be back but this time we will bring our kids. Thank you for a wonderful honemoon filled with many memories
