The main level includes: a large screened porch; fully equipped gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances; eat-in dining to accommodate 10; luxurious master suite with king-size bed, private bath with steam shower, spa tub and radiant floor heating; stunning great room with two-story beamed, vaulted ceiling and stacked stone fireplace; and desk with high speed internet access.
The second level contains a sunny loft and two large bedrooms which share a Jack and Jill bath. The guest room has a queen-size bed and window seat just perfect for an afternoon nap. The bunk room has two sets of bunk beds. Both rooms have spectacular long range mountain views.
The camp is also outfitted with the finest in entertainment technology including four DirecTV satellite televisions, high speed internet access in many of the rooms, whole house audio system, DVD player and Nintendo 64.
Resort amenities adjacent to the lake include a full service Spa (Greystone Inn), heated pool, and boat rental on the 640 acre private lake.
The Biltmore Mansion and Asheville Airport are within an hours drive. Several large National Park lands surround you and the Blue Ridge Parkway is a short drive away. Lake Toxaway enjoys mild weather in all seasons.
Fill your days with activities or do nothing at all. Relax on our screened porch. Curl up with a good book in front of the massive stone fireplaces. Shop in nearby Highlands or Cashiers. Owner's Map of Lake Toxaway
We purchased this property in 1998 & built our dream getaway in 2004. I went to camp in Tuxedo, NC for 8 years, so feel right at home in the mountains. Mark grew up in the Lehigh Valley of PA & spent time in the Poconos which is similar to Western NC. Our 3 boys love spending time in the Blue Ridge area. So much so that the oldest chose UNC-Asheville for college & our middle son is just an hour away in Clemson. We see them more when we are at the camp than when we are at home in Atlanta!

What a great house with amazing views! So nice to see broad range view of the mountains and a peek at the lake. Spent most of our time on the screened-in porch enjoying the views and warm fireplace. The rest of the house was perfectly clean, well decorated, and comfortable. This was a treat!

Had a great stay at the Newhart Camp. You couldn't ask for a better view or a nicer home! We are very pricky when it comes to travel and this an excellent property!

Your home is really great with plenty of room and very well equipped. It really is "guest friendly" and your instructions helped us feel at home and take advantage of the many nice features.

Mary, this is our second time at your home on Toxaway Mountain, and we still have not gotten enough. The home is absolutely gorgeous, so well furnished and maintained, and you are such a pleasure to deal with, always accomodating, and we cannot thank you enough for welcoming our family into your mountain home. We will be back time and again to your little slice of paradise!

Second time we've stayed here. Absolutely love it. The master bedroom makes you feel like you're in your own up scale tree house. The porch is splendid. The house is wonderfully appointed and entirely comfortable. We cannot wait to go back.

The Newhart Camp met or exceeded ALL of our expections. The house is very comfortable, clean, and user friendly. What a great fireplace with tremendous views of the Smokey Mountains. Kids & Parents loved the playroom with the pinball machine. We will definitely use this property in the near future. Thank you Newharts.
