The condos location to downtown (5 min away) and its amenities made this the perfect spring break getaway. The rental process was easy and our questions were responded to quickly. The condo itself was extremely clean and well furnished. The deck was a nice plus and the kitchen was well equipped. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and an elevator made it easy to lug our stuff in and out. I would definately recommend this unit to anyone who wants to visit Santa Fe.

Santa Fe condo

We stayed three nights in this condo. It was clean and nicely furnished. Although a little way from the center of town, it is very easy to drive there in just a few minutes. A grocery store is also just a few minutes away by car.

My husband and I teamed up with some close friends and just absolutely loved the time away. The condo was a warm and cozy atmosphere, roomy enough for us yet still intimate. The balcony was an excelent choice for breakfast!

This condo is quiet, comfortable, and well kept. We enjoyed the large balcony the most and had breakfast and lunch at the table there each day. Looking out over Santa Fe and the surrounding mountains was fantastic. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Though it is in a complex, we did not hear our neighbors at all in this end unit. We drove to the plaza, though it isn't too far of a walk and we walked up to Lodge at Santa Fe (about a block away) for appetizers and drinks one night. Our dog came with us and loved sunning herself on the balcony.

This was our first time to use Home Away rentals and we couldn't have been happier with this condo!! The condo is beautiful and super clean. The kitchen is completely supplied with everything you need to prepare meals and has nice updated appliances! The covered patio is huge and looks over the city and mountains. There is some traffic noise, but this did not bother us. The bedrooms are located towards the back of the condo, so not a concern when sleeping. The grounds of the condo are well kept and lovely outdoor seating, very peaceful and pretty potted plants. Plenty of towels, bedding and blankets provided plus large closet space. The washer and dryer definitely came in handy! The plaza is located just minutes away and there is an Albertons just a few blocks away. Scott was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with and always quick to respond to our e-mails and phone calls! If a little traffic noise doesn't concern you, then don't miss out on this wonderful condo!!

Owner response:We appreciate it so much when someone takes the time to write their experience in such detail because we work so hard to improve, not just maintain, the condo so others enjoy it as much as we do. I want to point out that the traffic noise referred to in this response, which didn't bother the renters even at the height of the tourist season, calms down a lot for most of the year, and you don't hear it when the french doors are closed. One reason we originally bought the condo was that it is such a quiet retreat from the city itself, yet so close to its center.

My wife was born and raised in Santa Fe so we have visited many times and the condo reflects the multi-cultural "City Different" very well. More stays in the near future are in our plans. Love Affair with Santa Fe

We had never been to Santa Fe, but wanted to do a variety of things - including NOT having to get out of our jammies to have breakfast. We ate out a lot, but shopped for breakfast supplies. We did a variety of things, but the most important part was having the beautiful condo to return to at the end of a busy and wonderful day! What a great place - beautifully decorated, comfortably appointed, wonderfully outfitted! We loved it! We will be back!

Our stay at the condo was very enjoyable. We visited Santa Fe for the first time and spent 3 nights at the condo. We were gone hiking and touring during the day but it was very relaxing to have a place to kick back in the evening. Scott answered all our questions prior to our arrival. The condo was very clean and had all the necessities we needed. The location was very convenient to the grocery store and also the highway. I would recommend this condo to a friend.

Excellent Stay in Santa Fe

I stayed here with my parents visitng from the UK just before Christmas. We had driven through heavy snow to get here but the condo was warm and welcoming on arrival. Scott provided a huge pile of logs which we used every night in the kiva. The snowy view from the balcony was lovely. The condo was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Close to local shops to get provisions and easily accessible to restaurants as well. The benefit of the elevator was great for transporting luggage and for the benefit of those who struggle with stairs. Scott also visited and gave us a Poinsettia which was a lovely touch for Christmas.

We stayed in Scott and Glenn's condo in October 2010. It was a great fit for our family. My husband and I stayed here with our 3 children ages 10, 5 & 3. The condo was perfect for us. Not to cramped but close enough that at night we didn't worry about our kids. The complex is very quiet. At home I sleep with a white noise machine to drown out the outside noises. It was so quite in the condo I didn't need it! There is some street noise from the balcony. My oldest daughter slept on the sofa sleeper with a fan (provided with the condo) and didn't seem bothered by the noise at all. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony with great views and fresh air. The condo is located in a great area. We never felt unsafe. We made several trips to the plaza which was very easy to get to. Scott was very good to work with! We were even allowed to check in at 1 p.m. which was great coming from a long distance with 3 kids. I researched a lot to find just the right place for us and am pleased that I found this condo! It was a great place to relax and feel like a family unlike in a hotel when you are "living" with people you don't know. This condo is the best bang for your buck! I contacted other rental home owners and they weren't near as customer friendly nor as affordable as Scott's condo! Also, we didn't see it until our last day but Scott and Glenn left a journal on the counter for guests to write about their stay. My 10 year old wrote in the book from her perspective. What a wonderful idea thanks Scott and Glenn!

Great Location For Exploring The Area

Sant Fe was a revelation to us, we didn't expect it to be so green and 'low rise'. The views over the city from the condo are really suberb enabling you to fully appreciate this. The condo itself is tastefully euipped to a very high standard, although having had the pleasure of meeting with Scott and Glynn this shouldn't be any surprise. We split a week between here and their other property at Abiquiu Lake #81865. The contrast between the locations was amazing and so worthwhile. Perfect Location - Great Condo

We were completely satisfied with this condo - the description on VRBO was very accurate. It was truly everything we had expected. Location was perfect - you can see the plaza from the balcony as well as a spectacular view of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The interior of the condo is beautifully furnished - decor reflects the rich culture of the Santa Fe area. Furniture is stylish and very comfortable. We found Scott's notebook on sightseeing as well as the basket full of brochures especially helpful. This condo will make your stay in Santa Fe wonderfully enjoyable and we would recommend it to anyone.

Thank you Scott and Glynn for accommodating our family so close to the holidays. The occasion was our parent's fiftieth wedding anniversary at the Basilica and they wanted to share their love of Santa Fe with us. My family really enjoyed staying at the Oury's condo. It was nice at the end of the day to have all our teens back indoors at our "home away from home". The decore was beautiful and tastefully done through out the condo. The place was very clean and easy to get back to order. All the sleep arrangements and living areas were very comfortable and just right for a family of five. The kitchen offered just enough amenities that we even had a baked lasagna dinner one night. The view from the living room, especially at night, was incredible, sigh. We could see the lights from old town Santa Fe. We read much of the available brochures and restaurant guides subtley left in a basket for guests to peruse. We spent a day snowboarding at Ski Santa Fe (so close you must go), shopped the local artisan plaza's, became aquainted with so much history everywhere, and ate such wonderful New Mexico cuisine that we will defintely be coming back! Our only regret was that our trip was over too soon.

What a beautiful Condo, perfect for the 5 of us (6 would work also). It has all the little extras that you might possibly forget to pack. Working with Scott was a breeze and he made me feel at ease immediately. The quick and easy access to the Mountain for skiing was ideal after a long day of hitting the slopes. This is a wonderful condo....LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! The condo is perfectly situated for day trips to Taos, the Ghost Ranch/Abiqui, the Jemez Mountain Trail, etc. The condo is beautifully furnished and Scott has thought of everything to help his visitors, from a fully stocked kitchen (with coffee, tea, beer, etc.) to plenty of information about the Santa Fe area and suggestions for day trips. The views from the balcony are gorgeous. To be fair, there is a little highway noise but we did not find this a problem at all, as the bedrooms are on the far side of the apartment from the highway and the host had kindly provided fans for the bedrooms. We will DEFINITELY come back to this lovely casita! Thank you, Scott, for making our vacation simply delightful!

Scott- We cannot thank you enough for your hospitality between 8/20 and 8/24/09. Your condo was absolutely fantastic, clean, well-equipped and very convenient to the sites. We had great dinners, toured the museums, and had a blast at the Indian Market in the Plaza. Also met so many transplanted easterners in town who all said "move here now." Santa Fe is fabulous. Our stay at your condo was very comfortable and pleasant. The decor was clutter free and tasteful. We spent a day in the square at Santa Fe, a day taking the High Road to Taos, a day trip to Las Alamos & the Ghost Ranch. We visited the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, Bandelier National Monument, Taos Pueblos, New Mexico Museum of Art, Las Alamos Science Museum, drove over and back over the Grand Canyon bridge in Taos, took the Georgia O'Keeffe landscape tour at Ghost Ranch, and on our last morning managed a walk down Canyon Road. We enjoyed meals at Pranzo, Bobcat Bite, Geronimo, Gabriel's, and La Casa Sena. We had a wonderful trip and look forward to returning.

We have yet another reason to love Santa Fe: Scott and Glynn's excellent condo! Clean, quiet and oh- so-comfortable, it's carefully decorated in classic Santa Fe style and thoughtfully stocked with guidebooks, menus and every possible appliance you might enjoy over your stay. This is, by far, a superior alternative to cramped, pricey Santa Fe hotels - you actually look forward to coming "home" after a great day of sightseeing. Kitchen facilities eased our eating-out budget, and the washer/dryer cut down on our luggage as I could easily do laundry part-way through our trip. With airlines increasing fees for baggage and weight, this was a nice plus! Scott was easy, cheerful and just a joy to work with during our booking process, and both he and Glynn offered numbers where they could be reached if there was ANY kind of problem. As beautiful as #53388 is, Scott and Glynn also have 2 other properties in this complex (as well as a couple in Abiquiu) and I wouldn't hesitate to book any of them as I'm sure they're just as fabulous. These are people who genuinely care that your stay in their lovely city is the best it can be. We can't wait to come back but, doggone it, with so many VRBO'ers raving about this place, we'll probably never find an open week again! Scott and Glynn, thank you so much for sharing your vacation home with us and making our stay in Santa Fe even more magical! I wish we could have met the both of you....

We stayed in this beautiful condo for 4 days the first part of July, 2008. It was everything depicted on the website. The furnishings were beautiful and comfortable, and we felt right at home during our stay. It's only a short 5 minute drive to the heart of Santa Fe. There's some freeway noise, but after a day or so you don't really notice it. Scott was great to work with, and we'd rent from him again. You can't go wrong renting this condo.

This place was spectacular and a complete steal for the price. The view from the patio was amazing, and we ended up eating dinner and breakfast on the patio almost every day (we stayed there in mid-July). We could ride our bikes downtown to avoid any parking/driving stresses (about a 10 minute easy bike ride). The condo was perfectly clean, beautiful, and very quiet. The bed was SUPER comfortable. We usually stay in 4 to 5 star hotels and were pleasantly suprised with this condo. We highly recommend this place.

This condo was in an ideal location to enjoy all of the many wonderful places in Santa Fe. The decor of the condo is superb. No expense was spared in furnishing this condo. All of our needs were met and then some. The view from the balcony was beautiful. We especially appreciated the cleanliness of the home. It was also a very quiet and peaceful place. Scott is a wonderful host and makes certain that everything is what you expected. We had a marvelous stay there and would definitely stay there again if we return to Santa Fe.

Wonderful visit! The condo could not be more convenient and comfortable. We loved Diego's and walked to the Tuesday morning farmer's market behind Alberton's. What wonderful stuff! 10/8/2006 We have just returned from a three day stay. The condo was a nice retreat at night, after a full day of sight seeing. I have spent vacation time in this condo for two summers and am looking forward to a third! It is convenient to downtown Santa Fe and the Opera and easy to get to major roads for sight seeing. Comment Text: I stayed here for 3 nights in March with my sister-in-law and we didn't want to leave. This is by far one of the nicest rentals I have ever stayed at. You feel cozy the minute you walk through the door. The Southwest decor is absolutely perfect and the furniture so comfortable it is a perfect place to hang out after a long day of sightseeing. This will be the only place I stay while in Santa Fe from now on. I can't wait to see the new casita in Abiquiu!

This was a beautiful, well stocked condo just outside of the downtown Santa Fe area. It provides easy access to many museums, and restaurants in Santa Fe. Our favorite feature was the beautiful view from the balcony, where we often enjoyed breakfast and dinner. The hosts are very pleasant, as well as exceptionally helpful. We recomend this condo to anyone interested in exploring the Santa Fe area. We look forward to returning to both the condo and Santa Fe.

We had a wonderful time at the condo! Very nice view of the mountains. The location has access to two major streets in town: Guadalope and St. Francis; as well as access to the Taos Hwy. This made it easy to get downtown and virtually any where we wanted to go. The place was very clean and the bedding is comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed Santa Fe, many side trips and the condo. But, I need to address the issue of handicap accessibility.I took a shower stool, raised commode seat and a walker which made the bathrooms accessible to me.I parked my "scooter" in the hall because it like a wheelchair would not maneuver in the condo. There is a step up to the balcony.This is just FYI because I managed ok and would definitely stay there again.

What a wonderful trip! We haven't stopped talking about Santa Fe since we left.Thank you for allowing us to stay in your condo. Besides being exactly as you said it would be, it was very clean and comfortable. It’s conveniently located to shopping areas and galleries but be sure to bring a roll of quarters... public parking ramps fill up fast.We would be happy to recommend you to our friends.Diane and CarrieM

The condo provided an ideal place to stay for our visit to Santa Fe. It is beautifully decorated; the view is splendid; the location is convenient; and the owners are a pleasure to deal with. We would not consider staying anywhere else when we return.
