  We stayed for three weeks and had an amazing time in the area. Overall the three week vacation was fantastic, despite the disappointing unit we stayed in. - the unit we stayed in does match the pics on the website - old decor and appliances - the floor was covered in cat hair and can dander, bad for allergies - the door latch fell out of the door one day, dead bolt still worked though - neighbouring unit had a perpetual water leak, eventually the city shut off water to the entire building leaving us without water - smallest car garage I have ever seen To the owners credit, they did reimburse a percentage of the rental fee for our cleaning efforts.

  Owner response: We have two units and the pictured one was not available, so they stayed inour other unit. The guest did not tell us the unit was not clean enough when they arrived. The cleaning company could have gone back in there but instead they swept up themselves. We refunded them 200. 00 for this. The door latch was not brought to our attention until after they left. The day they were leaving, the water was turned off for an emergency shutoff by the city. It was very much out of our control. They said for 500 more dollars they would take away their review.

  We stayed there from Wednesday ~Sunday, the 2nd floor unit is so cute & cozy. It has everything you need, towels, straw mats for the beach... My husband loves to surf so every morning he'd pick up his board, walk a very short neighborhood block and we are right there to the ocean. There's a complete kitchen but we didn't really need to cook, there's tons of restaurants right on Mission Blvd. , 10minutes to La Jolla & 15minutes to Convoy St where all the awesome Asian eateries are. The garage is smaller than what we are used to, but it's part of living right by the beach, we parked our Toyota Rav4 in just fine :) it does scare me a little bit the first couple times because I was not used to it, but by day 2 we were fine. I much prefer having a private parking garage like this than to park on the street if you are staying along Mission Blvd. We are so happy we found this rental, we cannot wait to go back next time we visit San Diego.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  This was a great place to stay! It is a 30 second walk to the beach or the bay. The apartment is very comfortable and clean with all the necessities. There is not AC and the space could definitely use a fan to move the air a bit. The garage is so convient but VERY small. The Nissan Sentra that we rented fit but it was tight. There is a rental place below the apartment that rents pretty nice bikes for $10/day and boogie boards for $5/day. Overall I was impressed and would rent again.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway.
