Balboa Island Duplex in Newport Beach

Come play at Balboa Island in Newport beach! Balboa is 20 minutes from Disneyland, one hour to Legoland, and minutes from any beach or Orange County activity you could want. We have a duplex so you can rent one or two cottages under the same roof. Each cottage has two bedrooms - one with a queen bed, one with three twins (one bunk bed), a great kitchen, ample seating, bathroom with shower/tub combo and one on-site parking spot. There's even a warm shower outside to rinse off sand, too.
If you want to rent both cottages for a larger shared space, we can open a connecting door so it becomes one big house. If you want one cottage, each cottage has a separate entry and patio space so it can be private from the other cottage. If you have any questions or want more information on the house and/or Newport Beach just contact us. We're sure you'll love our beach house as much as we do!

We just spent one week on Balboa at the back cottage and it was such a great week. The cottage was perfect for our family. We traveled with three young children, ages 2,5,and 7 and they didn't want to leave. The location is perfect. Two blocks to the main street and one block to the water. We used the kayaks numerous times during our stay and the kids loved it. Its a perfect little beach cottage. The decor is pretty outdated and the place could use a fresh coat of paint, but none of those things affected our enjoyment of the place. We enjoyed the rustic cottage feel and didn't need to worry about the kids ruining furniture or anything like that. We rented the back cottage and it worked out great since there is a gate that closes over. You get a parking space right in the back, but we chose to park on the street when we could and used the whole back area as a yard for the kids. They were able to go in and out of the house and rode their scooters in the back. It is a little noisy as you are right on the corner of Park which is a main road through the island. But again, didn't bother us at all. Overall we had a wonderful time and wouldn't hesitate to return to this cottage. Our kids literally cried when we left!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway.

My fiancee and I came to this gorgeous cottage for our annual friends/family visit in So Cal. It was exactly what we needed AND what was described. We were fortunate enough to have the back cottage which we found perfectly private even with the easy access to the main street 2 blocks down. Don was very helpful when we arrived, gave us some tips, and checked to see how we were when he was close. We would HIGHLY recommend this rental (especially for the comfortable bed!!!) and are planning to request renting again for the same time next year! THANK YOU!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
