In the summertime, bring your boat and head out to Lake Tahoe from our dock in the backyard.

ANGLERS WEST LODGE: Listen to coyotes and view the moon on the water from our cozy living room, dining room, and bedrooms! Warm by the wood-burning fireplace with a cup of our complementary hot chocolate. Relax on the private beach or enjoy the indoor swimming pool (indoor Olympic size pool has two outdoor hot tubs and seasonal summer pool is right on the shore of Lake Tahoe). Enjoy a delicious meal cooked on the gas BBQ with outdoor dining! Blue-ribbon fly-fishing rivers are only a short drive away and fishing trips on the lake are available nearby. Children enjoy fishing from our dock in the summer outside the back door!

Angler's West Lodge is located on a quiet street (not on Venice!) in the beautiful Tahoe Keys with access to facilities for a nominal fee including Olympic size indoor pool and outdoor hot tubs, seasonal heated outdoor pool right on blue water Lake Tahoe and tennis courts a short walk from the house.

This relaxing quiet waterfront home with boat dock, has beautiful waterway and mountain views. WI-FI! The upper living quarters include a large living room with two leather sofas, flat screen TV with DirecTV, pine open beam ceilings and stone wood-burning fireplace opening to seasonal sunny deck with gas BBQ grill, table and umbrella, overlooking the water and Mt. Tallac views. Also upstairs is the fully equipped granite-countered kitchen with double oven (convection and baking ovens) and dining area with water views, as well as laundry, full bath, and overlarge master bedroom featuring one queen size, one full size, and two twins (bunkbeds) with views of Heavenly Mountain.

Downstairs is the PRIVATE HOT TUB overlooking the view, second full bath, second bedroom with one full bed and third bedroom with gorgeous water and mountain views featuring one queen bed, decorative (non-working) stove, and doorway to downstairs deck leading to boat dock and waterway (locked in winter season). Off-street parking for two cars in driveway with adjacent covered walkway to the front door.

The over 2200 square feet home is located on a quiet street with full access to all Tahoe Keys amenities (which include: Boat launch, indoor Olympic pool, hot tubs, outdoor summer pool overlooking tranquil Lake Tahoe, private beach, boat rentals, pier, putting green, basketball courts, biking and hiking trails, restaurant and bar (a daily user fee required with copy of rental agreement for some amenity access).

• Amenities
  • Washer : Laundry soap is provided.
  • Dryer : Please empty the lint screen in the door after use.
  • Linens Provided : 100% cotton sheets are provided with 100% cotton pillow cases. Bath and kitchen towels are also provided. No need to wash any linens, our cleaner will wash all used linens.
  • Off Street Parking : Winter parking has space for two vehicles. Additional parking is available in community parking lot. Parking is not a problem when there is no snow (spring, fall & summer).
  • Parking for RV/Boat/Trailer : Parking is not available in winter. The dock has room for one boat for rentals during the summer. Parking for RVs is not permitted in the Tahoe Keys. Parking for boat trailers is available at the Tahoe Keys Marina nearby.
  • Wood Fireplace : Wood is supplied.

  • Queen Bed (2) : One Queen Bed is located in the upstairs bedroom. The other is located in the water-view downstairs bedroom.
  • Double Bed (2) : One Double Bed is located in the upstairs bedroom. The other is located in the inner downstairs bedroom.
  • Bunk Bed : The bunk bed (two twin beds) is located in the upstairs bedroom.
  • Convertible Bed : Full Futon in living room. Please ask us to provide linens should this be used as a bed.

  • Private Hot Tub : Overlooks the water and Mt. Tallac, just outside the downstairs bedroom. Please keep the top on the tub when not in use. Please supervise children at all times.
  • Shared Hot Tub (2) : There are two outdoor hot tubs located in the indoor swimming pool complex. One is adult only and the other for anyone over age 6. A pass must be obtained from the indoor swimming pool by showing the rental agreement.
  • Cable/Satellite TV (2) : Both TVs in the living room and downstairs bedroom facing the water have Direct-TV Satellite.

  • Shared Pool (2) : There is an indoor Olympic size swimming pool open year round and an outdoor pool overlooking Lake Tahoe open in the summer only. A pass must be obtained from the indoor swimming pool by showing the rental agreement. A ping pong game is also located in the indoor pool.

  • Full Kitchen : GE electric range with five burners, including simmer feature, double oven with convection and regular ovens. Sink has disposal and dish soap is provided. Kitchen was remodeled in Spring 2009 with white granite counters and blue and white tile backsplash, new microwave and sink and newer dishwasher.
  • Cooking Utensils Provided : Every kitchen utensil is provided including pots/pans, bowls, dishes, cutlery for 12, baking equipment, rolling pin, cookie cutters, cake pans, racks, salad spinner. Wine, Champagne, and Pint glasses for beer. We also have a food processor, blender, toaster, coffee/espresso maker, ice maker, and juicer.

• Outdoor Features
  • Gas/Electric BBQ Grill : For use in three seasons. Please remember to turn off the gas when done using!
  • Deck/Patio : There is a small deck on the lower level off the bedroom facing the mountain and water views. The private hot tub is here!
  • Balcony : There is a large deck on the upper level off the living room with the BBQ, table, chairs, and umbrella for use in three seasons. Plastic ice bucket and drinking cups are in kitchen cabinet to the right of the stove.

  • Waterfront, not Lake/Oceanfront. Ask for details : Views of Tahoe Keys water from nearly every window in the house. Boat dock on the water, let us know if you would like to bring one boat! If you don't want to bring a boat, you may be able to rent one from the Tahoe Keys Marina.
  • Mountain View : Views of Mt. Tallac and surrounding mountains from living room, dining room, downstairs bedroom, and decks. Views of Heavenly Ski area from upstairs bedroom.

  • WiFi (Wireless Internet) : Access code for Anglers wireless is in our instructions.

  • Crock-Pots (big and small for fondu), Bread Box, Coffee, Sugar, Creamer, Hot Chocolate, flour, pancake mix, 24 spices, salt and pepper provided. Paper towel, toilet paper, hand soap, and shampoo provided. New carpet installed June 2011.
