This charming summer home is located in the picturesque village of Baddeck (population approx. 900). Baddeck overlooks the Bras D'or Lakes which is North America's largest inland body of salt water. Baddeck was the home of the great inventor Alexander Graham Bell and his mansion still stands nearby. In 1909, the first airplane flight in Canada tool place on the ice in front of the village.

This central location is ideal to take day trips and explore Cape Breton Island. Or enjoy the attractions in the village during the day or night.

This summer home is exceptional value. Groups of 8 can be accommodated in this spacious environment at no extra charge. It is ideal for families or a group of golfers. We are flexible with the booking dates i.e. 5 nights or 7 nights, which can start and end on any day.

The summer home has two storey's with a large living room, dining room, kitchen, bath and four bedrooms. The large porch on the front is ideal for relaxing. You can enjoy the laid back atmosphere of the village.

You are walking distance to the many attractions that the town has to offer, such as the shops, fine restaurants and cafes. Or let the ocean breeze revitalize your soul and take a walk along the boardwalk, and marina. Enjoy the beautiful views and sunsets. If you feel like a soothing dip in the salt water then there is a 10 min boat trip (operates throughout the day) to a supervised beach on an island in the Baddeck Bay.

In the evening enjoy a variety of traditional Cape Breton fiddle music (every night) at the Baddeck ceilidh's (gaelic word for gathering of people). Also, there is fine dining, good pubs and local theater.
