This rental was better than the description. The house is lovely and very comfortable.The ocean is just steps away and beautiful sunsets every night and fresh sea air and stars overhead. Fantastic!! The owner has fully stocked everything you need to relax and enjoy. Also ,the owner is so wonderful and hospitable. He make all the arrangements very pleasurable. We had a very special two weeks in his home and I would definitely recommend this property. We ate at Anona's, on top of the classic car dealership and we loved it. Great food and fun atmosphere.

Best Beach Vacation

What can we say about the most relaxing vacation we have ever experienced. The house was wonderful, the weather superb, and the location on the ocean was incredible. There is nothing like having your very own, ocean front piece of heaven. The views from the upper decks were fantastic whether you were looking out upon the ocean or the sunset over the bay. We loved it so much we are staying for two weeks next summer. Surfs up!

What a beautiful house and a beautiful location. We loved every moment from the views of the sunset to sundown each and every day of our vacation here. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and is very tastefully decorated. The privacy and quietness of this home made for a very relaxing getaway. Having our whole family, including our dog, Maggie, made it even more enjoyable. The owner, Kevin, was very accomodating and helpful. We would recommend this home to anyone who loves the beach and is looking to rent a comfortable beach house.

Golden Memories on Dune Road

This really is a lovely, cozy, well-kept oceanfront retreat. The pictures on the site do not do the bright, freshly painted interior justice. The decor is sweet and furnishings comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked and the views out of every window are fantastic. Loved the outdoor shower and direct access to beach. We rented the home for our 70+ parents as a 50th anniversary gift. We all gathered for a BBQ and found the house slept 10 comfortably. A/C worked fine. Fireplace is probably great for the off-season. The bathrooms are bright and clean. One full bath off the master was convenient for bathing toddlers. We found everything we could possibly need at the house, with the exception of more time to spend. The owner is very helpful and answered countless questions graciously. I would rave more here, but he might want to charge double! We stayed the week of June 24 through July 1. The beach was ours alone, save for the piping plovers and deer. It was a great trip and we hope we can return again someday...

Beautiful beach views!

We just spent a wonderful week at this home on the beach. We loved opening the back door and seeing the walkway leading straight over the dunes and onto the beach (just like the pictures on the website). You can see the beach and hear the waves from three of the bedrooms. After a busy but enjoyable few days in New York City, this was a perfect, relaxing, peaceful location to spend some family time and celebrate our Mums 70th Birthday. We saw deer on the beach at dusk and enjoyed some lovely walks along the shore, collecting shells. It was fun to grill on the deck - on the back facing the beach or on the front deck, shielded from the breeze and overlooking the bay. Everything we needed was at the house – including beach supplies, chairs, umbrellas and games as well as indoor games, books and movies. The house is just a ten minute drive from Westhampton Beach. We ate at Rumbas in Hampton Bays overlooking the Bay, very good food. Day trip to The Hamptons, Sag Harbor and Montauk. We would highly recommend this clean, comfortable house to anyone and would love to come back sometime. Miss that view!

Great Early Summer Week on the Beach

The house is welcoming and easy to navigate with everything you could possibly need, including beach chairs and pails for kids. You can hear the waves when the sliding doors are open, and the beach breeze comes right in to the living room and master bedroom. You are literally steps from plopping down your blanket or chairs, and you have the beach to yourselves, as the only other people would be the immediate neighbors. For rainy days there are tons of DVDs and VHS tapes. Eating breakfast, lunch and dinner on the deck is a joy. I hope you have as good a time as my family and me did at this house.

I rented this home for a corporate client and was more than pleasantly surprised. What a warm, inviting home! And it's on the ocean to boot! What more can you ask for? The house was immaculate when they arrived and our client was amazed by the house and its location. We are sure to increase our business with them now! We were very happy with the owner's hospitality from beginning to end and highly recommend this rental.

Blissful Beach Vacation

Just got back from a stay here...our goal was to sit on a beach, read a bunch of books, grill out as much as possible, drink some nice wine and relax. We did it! The House: Doesn't get anymore oceanfront than this. A breathtaking view from the back deck, great room and upstairs bedroom and a private boardwalk right down to the beach. Front deck views are sunset and the bay plus some interesting homes. Three bedrooms downstairs and one bedroom up. The house is built on stilts up above the dunes though so the downstairs rooms are bright and get a nice breeze through them (but there's AC too). Kitchen and great room upstairs. Fully stocked with everything you might need with the exception of food. Kitchen seems to have been updated fairly recently and there's a gas grill on the upper deck. Hardwood floors throughout. Outdoor shower and foot shower. It's a nice, yet casual beach house - not too big and not too small - not too fancy and not too rustic. The Location: The house is about a 10 minute drive from Westhampton Beach - cute little town with some nice shops and restaurants. Definitely not the scene of some other towns further east. More of a laid back vibe. (A plus IMO). The house is a 5 minute walk from the Cupsogue park so lot's of interesting birds and wildlife to see. During the week the place really emptied out which we loved...on the weekend, the beach was a little more crowded as were the roads. Sunday through Thursday nights, about 10 deer scampered across the street and into our "yard" and then wandered about the dunes grazing. Very nice sight from our deck with the deer in the foreground and the ocean in the back. The Beach: Nice wide beach with lot's fluffy white sand. We had a mix of gentle waves and big crashers. Not crowded at all - especially on the weekdays. House comes equiped with umbrellas, chairs, beach games, etc. The Owner: Very easy to work with and provides just enough details and instructions. Through the owner, we also arranged for someone to come in and clean midstay - the house isn't huge so you could do this yourself but if you really want to be on vacation it was nice to have someone stop in and do a light cleaning. No amount of outdoor and foot shower vigilence can keep that sand on the beach!

Wake up and fall asleep to the background music of the Ocean....A overall super experience!! Great weather, fantastic beach house, very adequate amenities and a most hospitable and gracious host!! A repeat for sure.

907 Dune Rd - Westhampton Dunes Review

i had the pleasure of staying at 907 Dune Road from July 2nd - July 9th 2010. I can't say enough great things about the experience. The house is the perfect beach house - comfortable - fantastic location - plenty of beach toys, chairs and umbrellas - towels. Seriously the only thing anyone needs to bring is the food and the liquid refreshments. The house was clean actually spotless- towels and sheets laundered. Kitchen spotless. And i can't say enough about what a pleasure it was to deal with the owner -although check-in time was not until 4pm we were advised that we were more than welcome to put our belongings on the deck and go down to the beach. it was close enough to town yet far enough away so you could feel like you were either a million miles away from civilization or if you were dying for a bagel or italian ices you could quickly get to town. I only wish i was rich enough and had enough time off so i could rent it for an entire month. It was truly the most relaxing vacation from the second i arrived until the second i left. Can't recommend it enough.
