What can we say about the most relaxing vacation we have ever experienced. The house was wonderful, the weather superb, and the location on the ocean was incredible. There is nothing like having your very own, ocean front piece of heaven. The views from the upper decks were fantastic whether you were looking out upon the ocean or the sunset over the bay. We loved it so much we are staying for two weeks next summer. Surfs up!

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Beach House Beauty!

What a beautiful house and a beautiful location. We loved every moment from the views of the sunset to sundown each and every day of our vacation here. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and is very tastefully decorated. The privacy and quietness of this home made for a very relaxing getaway. Having our whole family, including our dog, Maggie, made it even more enjoyable. The owner, Kevin, was very accomodating and helpful. We would recommend this home to anyone who loves the beach and is looking to rent a comfortable beach house.

Golden Memories on Dune Road

This really is a lovely, cozy, well-kept oceanfront retreat. The pictures on the site do not do the bright, freshly painted interior justice. The decor is sweet and furnishings comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked and the views out of every window are fantastic. Loved the outdoor shower and direct access to beach. We rented the home for our 70+ parents as a 50th anniversary gift. We all gathered for a BBQ and found the house slept 10 comfortably. A/C worked fine. Fireplace is probably great for the off-season. The bathrooms are bright and clean. One full bath off the master was convenient for bathing toddlers. We found everything we could possibly need at the house, with the exception of more time to spend. The owner is very helpful and answered countless questions graciously. I would rave more here, but he might want to charge double! We stayed the week of June 24 through July 1. The beach was ours alone, save for the piping plovers and deer. It was a great trip and we hope we can return again someday...

Great Early Summer Week on the Beach

The house is welcoming and easy to navigate with everything you could possibly need, including beach chairs and pails for kids. You can hear the waves when the sliding doors are open, and the beach breeze comes right in to the living room and master bedroom. You are literally steps from plopping down your blanket or chairs, and you have the beach to yourselves, as the only other people would be the immediate neighbors. For rainy days there are tons of DVDs and VHS tapes. Eating breakfast, lunch and dinner on the deck is a joy. I hope you have as good a time as my family and me did at this house.

Beautiful beach views!

We just spent a wonderful week at this home on the beach. We loved opening the back door and seeing the walkway leading straight over the dunes and onto the beach (just like the pictures on the website). You can see the beach and hear the waves from three of the bedrooms. After a busy but enjoyable few days in New York City, this was a perfect, relaxing, peaceful location to spend some family time and celebrate our Mums 70th Birthday. We saw deer on the beach at dusk and enjoyed some lovely walks along the shore, collecting shells. It was fun to grill on the deck - on the back facing the beach or on the front deck, shielded from the breeze and overlooking the bay. Everything we needed was at the house – including beach supplies, chairs, umbrellas and games as well as indoor games, books and movies. The house is just a ten minute drive from Westhampton Beach. We ate at Rumbas in Hampton Bays overlooking the Bay, very good food. Day trip to The Hamptons, Sag Harbor and Montauk. We would highly recommend this clean, comfortable house to anyone and would love to come back sometime. Miss that view!

Blissful Beach Vacation

Just got back from a stay here...our goal was to sit on a beach, read a bunch of books, grill out as much as possible, drink some nice wine and relax. We did it! The House: Doesn't get anymore oceanfront than this. A breathtaking view from the back deck, great room and upstairs bedroom and a private boardwalk right down to the beach. Front deck views are sunset and the bay plus some interesting homes. Three bedrooms downstairs and one bedroom up. The house is built on stilts up above the dunes though so the downstairs rooms are bright and get a nice breeze through them (but there's AC too). Kitchen and great room upstairs. Fully stocked with everything you might need with the exception of food. Kitchen seems to have been updated fairly recently and there's a gas grill on the upper deck. Hardwood floors throughout. Outdoor shower and foot shower. It's a nice, yet casual beach house - not too big and not too small - not too fancy and not too rustic. The Location: The house is about a 10 minute drive from Westhampton Beach - cute little town with some nice shops and restaurants. Definitely not the scene of some other towns further east. More of a laid back vibe. (A plus IMO). The house is a 5 minute walk from the Cupsogue park so lot's of interesting birds and wildlife to see. During the week the place really emptied out which we loved...on the weekend, the beach was a little more crowded as were the roads. Sunday through Thursday nights, about 10 deer scampered across the street and into our "yard" and then wandered about the dunes grazing. Very nice sight from our deck with the deer in the foreground and the ocean in the back. The Beach: Nice wide beach with lot's fluffy white sand. We had a mix of gentle waves and big crashers. Not crowded at all - especially on the weekdays. House comes equiped with umbrellas, chairs, beach games, etc. The Owner: Very easy to work with and provides just enough details and instructions. Through the owner, we also arranged for someone to come in and clean midstay - the house isn't huge so you could do this yourself but if you really want to be on vacation it was nice to have someone stop in and do a light cleaning. No amount of outdoor and foot shower vigilence can keep that sand on the beach!

907 Dune Rd - Westhampton Dunes Review

i had the pleasure of staying at 907 Dune Road from July 2nd - July 9th 2010. I can't say enough great things about the experience. The house is the perfect beach house - comfortable - fantastic location - plenty of beach toys, chairs and umbrellas - towels. Seriously the only thing anyone needs to bring is the food and the liquid refreshments. The house was clean actually spotless- towels and sheets laundered. Kitchen spotless. And i can't say enough about what a pleasure it was to deal with the owner -although check-in time was not until 4pm we were advised that we were more than welcome to put our belongings on the deck and go down to the beach. it was close enough to town yet far enough away so you could feel like you were either a million miles away from civilization or if you were dying for a bagel or italian ices you could quickly get to town. I only wish i was rich enough and had enough time off so i could rent it for an entire month. It was truly the most relaxing vacation from the second i arrived until the second i left. Can't recommend it enough.

I rented this home for a corporate client and was more than pleasantly surprised. What a warm, inviting home! And it's on the ocean to boot! What more can you ask for? The house was immaculate when they arrived and our client was amazed by the house and its location. We are sure to increase our business with them now! We were very happy with the owner's hospitality from beginning to end and highly recommend this rental.

We just returned from a wonderful long weekend at this house, and it was better than described. The house is clean and really well taken care of. The beach access is amazing and for people who love going to town it is so convenient to everything. We used every bedroom and never felt cramped, we even had toddlers with us and they had a spare gate!Without a doubt we will return again!

Perfect Beach Getaway

I wanted a house right on the ocean and this house fulfilled my every wish. The furnishings are first rate and the environment is ultra-comfortable. The owner is extremely responsive. The master bedroom, living room, kitchen, and wraparound deck on the second floor are all you need to stay put for as long as you want (the remaining bedrooms are on the first floor). Access to the beach is easy and the walks along the beach are breathtaking. I can't think of one thing this house is missing! I'll be back.

This rental was better than the description. The house is lovely and very comfortable.The ocean is just steps away and beautiful sunsets every night and fresh sea air and stars overhead. Fantastic!! The owner has fully stocked everything you need to relax and enjoy. Also ,the owner is so wonderful and hospitable. He make all the arrangements very pleasurable. We had a very special two weeks in his home and I would definitely recommend this property. We ate at Anona's, on top of the classic car dealership and we loved it. Great food and fun atmosphere.

The incremental passage down Dune Rd leads to a splendid beachfront home. Sunsets over the bay are observed as well. The house is appropriately 'upside down', so that all of the living spaces overlook the Dunes with 180 degree view of the ocean. The additional bedrms are at the 'boardwalk's' level leading to sandy beach. The space is bright, clean, organized and tastefully decorated. The owner is very responsive, answering all questions immediately via email or by cell prior and during my stay. During my month-long stay, I felt privileged to be staying in this wonderful spot. Given that I decided within 5 minutes, sight unseen (web photos only), the place exceeded my expectations.

What a treat is was for our family to stay at Mr. Brown's amazing ocean front home! We continue to visit year after year. It is decorated so beautifully and a great space for our large family and friends. The warmth and comfort is totally inviting. Whether in the living room watching the deer feed outside in the dunes (there are windows everywhere with spectacular views of the sunrise and sunset), the large open kitchen or the comfortable, charming bedrooms... every room feels special and cozy. We had wonderful conversations around the outdoor table (I could listen to those ocean waves all day and night) while enjoying local fruits, pastries and coffee. The special touches throughout the house, the wonderful outdoor shower just completed the joy of our visit. I highly recommend this home for an incredible east end getaway. You will LOVE it here!

The perfect place for family blast. Wonderful seaside view. Great time. Maybe a deeper cleaning would have been appreciated specially when you travel with baby and toddler (pet-friendly house).

My bridal party surprised me this past weekend with renting the Ocenafront Beach House in Westhampton for the weekend!! We had such an amazing time with many memories that we will always remember. My son's wedding was at the Atlantica on Dune Rd. on June 5th. Both sides of the family rented houses on the ocean for the week prior to the wedding. I booked my stay at 907 dune rd. and it was the best vacation I've ever had!! Mr.Kevin Brown, the owner, is gracious, honest and a pleasure to do business with! The house was in perfect condition when we arrived - we needed to bring nothing but food, drinks and towels!! Even though it rained some days, it was beautiful and peaceful. The ocean can be enjoyed without even leaving the house! My family and I agreed that we would definitely like to return next year. Thank you, Kevin!!

This was the first time we rented a beach house out East, and as such, we were a bit anxious about how clean the home would be, if the utilities would work, if it would be conducive to sleeping 2 newborns, etc. Well, to our surprise this place was a taste of heaven on earth. Our family spent a relaxing week in the immaculately clean house, enjoying the views, the private beach and the wonderful amenities (central air, new clean bathrooms, wonderfully decorated rooms, cable TV, nice firm beds, a great open kitchen stocked with all the plate ware, utensils, grilling tools you need, etc.). The homeowner is a great guy – honest and very accessible. By day we sat on the beach (the house offers a ton of beach chairs, umbrellas, a few sand pails for the kids, even a badminton set). At night we grilled on the great deck overlooking the Atlantic (the large Weber grill was a real plus, as it accommodated food for all 8 of us). Sunrises and sunsets were beautiful from that perch. We will definitely be back. You should come out too. I highly recommend it – just don’t take our vacation block!!!

Perfect house for a family vacation. We stayed for a full week with my sons their families and two grandchildren n(8 people). Their was plenty of room. Children could walk to and from the beach home without worry about safety. Porches are great for dinner and/or drinks outside. Town is close enough for convenience and far enough away to enjoy the feeling of the beach with the commerce.

This house was absolutely beautiful, freshly painted, spacious, and seemed like brand new! We spent the first week of our honeymoon here and the beaches and soft/white sand through the back yard just added to the romance and relaxation of our stay. The location is convenient to all restaurants/shopping but tucked away enough just to have the feeling of being on vacation away from everyone. We loved every minute and will be back next summer for sure!

I stayed here for my wedding weekend with some friends and family. I cannot say enough great things about this house -- the view from the back deck can not be beat, and you can't get much closer to the beach. The house itself was clean and well- maintained. Amazing home...owners were a pleasure to work with. Absloutely gorgeous views-beach is steps away. Plenty of space to have friends and family visit. House is super clean, relaxing, lovely decor. A luxurious destination you will want to visit year after year. Loved walking to the beach club at the end of Dune Road for delicious seafood and live music in the evenings.
