Hana House / Surf Shack - Rent One or Both!

  The location of the house was ideal and within walking distance to the beach. Overall though, the house wasn't in great shape. There was an inch on dust on the ceiling fans, and on the decor. The kitchen was stocked, but the frying pans were in very bad condition. There was a missing shelf in the fridge that we found sitting on top of the fridge, covered in dust. We still put it in the fridge though, to fit all our food. The sheets were also pretty worn. Also, both the Adirondack chairs in the yard were broken. Overall, the we still had a wonderful stay.

  Recommended for: Pet owners.

  We had a wonderful time. We rented both houses for a large family vacation. Plenty of space for our group of 12. Everything we needed could be found in both houses. Everything was identical to the photos-even better. The houses were clean and ready for our arrival. The owner answered all of our questions. I would recommed this place to others and would stay there again if with a large group. The beach was a very short drive/walk. The stores/shopping where a quick drive down the road. The houses are close together/connected almost, so if you want privacy you might consider renting both.

  My family had the pleasure of staying at Hana House. There were 7 of us, and I was a bit concerned about feeling overcrowded and cramped. Not an issue at all! The decor is cute, but user-friendly. The location is great - 2 minutes from the beach. And with the few questions we had while there, the owner was very quick to respond. We plan to bring a bigger crowd next year and rent both houses!

  I was fortunate enough to spend the weekend here with a couple of friends and can't recommend it highly enough! It is the perfect location, just far enough off the main drag and just close enough to the beach. I stayed in Surf Shack and it was cozy and well appointed. We loved being able to walk to the beach in a few short minutes and hear the waves from the front porch in the evenings. The owner was easy to communicate with and very helpful. I'm looking forward to returning!

  I stayed with a group friends at Hana House and it was just great. The cabin fit all eight of us comfortably (though none of us are high maintenance travelers). I was concerned about only having one bathroom, but it ended up being a non issue. The cabin is a short walk to the beach, and has all the amenities you will need. I recommend bringing extra linens for the futons though. Also, the vent hood over the stove doesn't work, so if you plan on making bacon, be sure to open the windows! The kitchen suited our needs as everyone took turns making meals, and we seemed to everything we needed. We even used the grill! All in all, a great, comfortable place to stay if you're not looking for filly, 5-star (think luxury hotel) accommodations. Very good beach atmosphere!

  This was the perfect get away. We rented both houses and were very pleased. Very pet friendly which sold us originally, but would stay there even without pets. Short walk to the beach on sidewalk all the way. Plenty of parking. Very Clean.

  We rented both houses. It was great. Everything was as listed. Owner was extremely helpful. We used one house for the adults with no small children and one house for the adults with small children. Short walk to beach. Close to fishing areas. Everyone had a great time. Would recommend this to anyone. Hope to come again. MPR

  I booked this house for a mini-vacation/ reunion with my brother in-law and his family. We had 4 adults and 5 small children between us and the house was just perfect. The two queen sized bedrooms were spacious and the futon and sleeper sofa in the living room made everyone comfortable. The location was ideal for us also. A block from the beach with an easy walk on the sidewalk or a quick jump in the car. It was also close to the shops and local grocery store. The deck was nice to relax and chat on at night. We even grilled out. Overall the house was clean, stocked with essentials and decorated as an ideal beach house. I look forward to booking this house again for more wonderful beach memories with my family.

  My husband & I stayed here with our two little doggies for a long weekend & just loved the Hana House. Short walk to beach so we took long beach walks w our dogs 2x per day, a few minute drive to town including my favorite restaurant Lisabellas. We want to go back. Loved it!

  WE WERE ABLE TO SIT BACK AND ENJOY A DRINK ON THE PORCH OF THE HANNA HOUSE. THIS IS THE PERFECT HOME AND CLOSE ENOUGH TO THE BEACH WITHOUT PAYING THE LARGE PRICE TAG.WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME AND WILL BE BACK AGAIN
